So I had never gotten my nails done before and even I could tell that these were bad. I was getting these done for prom and I had a certain style that would go really well with my dress and would make the whole outfit so much better. Well she was doing my nails she would nick my fingers multiple times with the file and it cut me and made me bleed. Well she applied the acrylic it was thick and wavy and there was no apex so it was flat on the nail and looks really weird. She also placed the acrylic on the cuticle and I had to go to a different salon to get it fixed. Then well she was doing the nail art she free handed it not even looking at the inspo pic that I had provided, Then she added white and charged me for it, when I specifically said that I didn't want white on the nail. The nails are sloppily done. Any other time I would think these nails are cute but they are not what I asked for and I payed $61 for these nails, they aren't even worth $30. I am quite upset and will never be coming back here read more

This was such a lovely experience for me and my mom. The women who work here are very friendly and sweet. My mom is pretty sensitive to nail breakage, and they took care of all her needs and she felt no pain or sensitivity whatsoever. If I could leave a 0 I would. I've been getting my nails done for years and this was the worst experience I've ever had. I went to get a brand new set of nails put on. This meant I had to soak my old acrylic off first which was fine. I was soaking in acetone for over an hour. At about 40 minutes I mentioned that my fingertips were getting irritated from the acetone and was told I didn't have another choice. At an hour I made the comment that I had never had to soak this long and the lady started YELLING at me, literally yelling. Needless to say, I got up out of my chair and walked out, with have soaked off acrylic. I called a few places and found someone to finish the job. HORRIBLE experience. Very RUDE!! This was my first appointment at PRETTY NAILS. I made an appointment , arrived about 15 minutes early, Tech asked if I wanted color, I said no I want pink and white powder, she said she had another appointment at my allotted time. There was another tech sitting there doing nothing. She asked if she wanted to do powder on my nails, she says "No I don't want to". I've never been so badly treated at a salon in my life. went in for removal of dip, scrapping and non use of tools to remove dip. Continued to place FULL hands in a bowl of acetone for over 25 minutes... then proceeded to pull them out, brush a file over and said "done" leaving residue and polish all over hands. place was very unsanitary. read more

I had 3:30 appt to get my feet done on 2/27/23. I have been to this place twice in the past, the owner and another lady with a little girl did a nice job soaking, cleaning my feet, trimming my toenails and a massage. I do not like polish on my toenails though. However, on this day- I showed up and owner was ready to cut my toenails. I said aren't you going to soak it. She said no, you just want cut. I said I want the same thing I had before. Owner asked me who did my foot? I she and another lady. She said she has never seen me before. I was shocked, I said I remember you, your husband and dog. Owner refused to soak my feet. Owner was not nice to me. Don't bother spending your money on this place unless you like rude/mean people. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. She scraped no chip polish off of my toes. No drill band or nothing. She tried to paint over the residue left behind. Didn't put anything in the water for my pedicure either. Then said I was difficult when I wanted my full set nails longer then what she " was used to". Meanwhile in picture I seen people get longer nails done then what I wanted. Again using no drill or anything she tries to hand file acrylic coffin nails. When I told her they were uneven and all different sizes she says " you too difficult" and stopped never even finished my nail. HORRIBLE SERVICE, UNCLEAN, and THEY DON'T HAVE THE RIGHT TOOLS TO DO ANY nails! -5 out of 10 DO NOT RECOMMEND! read more

I had Lisa she was good I gave her a big tip. But got home and my cuticles came back 1 day later. All they do is move the solution around. I want my cuticles removed. A friend of mine is having the same problem. I want cuticles cut.the gel was applied neatly but a little to thin. I will come back if these problem are corrected read more

Have been here many times and love it! I get my gel acrylics and they always do a great job exactly how I ask them to. The place is no longer dirty, it is very clean now and has a great atmosphere. The ladies are all very kind and always do there best for each customer. Have been going here for 3 years now and have never been disappointed. I purchased a Visa Vanilla gift card for my daughter as a Christmas gift to be used on manicures for the two of us. When we went to pay, the owner claimed that she had never used one of these cards. I found it hard to believe because they are very common. She ran the card and said that it didn't work. I believed her and paid in cash. She did not offer a receipt, threw the cash in a drawer, and had no cash register. That should have been an indicator that her bookkeeping was not great. When we got in the car, I had my daughter call the gift card to check the balance. It was $0. The card had, in fact, worked. I just paid an additional $50 for our manicures. I went back immediately, and the owner was insistent that it hadn't worked. She refused any resolution and said that she would check with her bank on Monday since it was a Saturday and the bank was closed. I checked the balance of the card online the following day, and it showed that the full $50 had been used at Pretty Nails in Mukwonago. When I called on Monday, the owner was still insistent that she had not gotten the money and refused any resolution. I brought her a print out of the information from online, and she would not even look at it. I am disputing the purchase with Visa, but I will never return to this business, nor do I recommend them. Walked in to get a no chip manicure and was horrified at how dirty this place looked. I am usually not picky about that sort of thing but I waited until they weren't looking and walked out. It looked like there were dirty towels at the manicure stations and smelled terrible inside. I feel bad because the ladies seemed nice enough but couldn't do it. read more
