I had the absolute worst experience at this nail shop and will never go back. I had just moved into the neighborhood and had some paint on my hands and nails from painting our new home. I went to the nail shop to get a little R&R and have a nice manicure and pedicure. When I sat down the man - who I'm assuming was the owner - kept asking me what I did for a living. Even though I was kind of uncomfortable, I told him what I did. I felt like he was judging me because I was covered in paint, but I explained several times that I was painting my new house. I also have really tiny nail beds and very sensitive skin around my fingernails, so I asked the man if he could please be extra gentle with me, and not cut my cuticles but just push them back. The guy totally freaked out and started stomping around and told me that one of the other women would help me. I honestly could not believe how rude he was. I just calmly got up and said I'm not going to have my nails done here today, then the same guy starts yelling at me and telling me to get out. One of the ladies kept trying to get me to sit back down and was telling me everything is OK, but I just left. I said I would never go back there. I haven't and I never will. read more

As I sat in the chair I started to take in the environment, and realized how dirty this shop is! Really needs a deep cleaning and constant up keep for cleanliness. This place is incredible! Came in today with 2 of my girls and we all got pedicures! With how expensive nail salons have gotten I was quite worried for how much it would come out to for all 3 of us! The price is amazing! 20$ for each of us for a FULL spa treatment! I'm talking cut,buff,massage,heel grating, and paint! The customer service was excellent from the beginning to end, and they not once tried to push us to do an upcharged option! The chairs are so comfortable and have a back massage option!! Some of the reviews share their anger/disappointment for the lack of AC. Today it was around 86 degrees and the place was fine! They have plenty of fans that blow right into the chairs providing a nice cool breeze- I came in with long pants and a heavy shirt and didn't feel overheated! Horrible! Went here out of desperation. They were open late and I was leaving for vacation the next morning. My daughter had gone the day before for the $20 pedicure. She said it was not the best but it would do for our trip. You get what you pay for should be the name of this place! I should have paid my 4 year old grandson to paint my toes. I should have walked out as soon as I looked at the polish bottles on the wall. They were dusty and most of them had separated from lack of use. The lady who did my pedi had to pry the top off the bottle of the color I chose. If I had to guess they probably have had those same bottles of polish for at least 5 years. Now for my nails ...... I asked if they could do just a natural pink powder with a glitter tip. Pretty standard now a day. She kept telling me to pick a color. I kept trying to explain that I didn't want color just powder. I even had an inspo pic. She said she had pink powder and the glitter so I reluctantly agreed. The second she started applying the powder, I said "that's not pink" she said "yes wait till dry." I decided to look away because my anxiety had kicked in and I needed to calm myself down. Then the filing begins and let me just say HOT MESS. Every nail was a different length and shape. It took all my strength not to sob. I ended up guiding her through fixing each nail. I haven't been this upset because of my nails in years! Just lack of experience here and old expired product. I'm terrible with names but the lady I go to every time remembers me and takes great care of her return clients. She didn't charge me extra to get gel the last time I went because it was like my 5th visit. I usually have to hop salons because it's hard to find someone who's consistent so I'm so happy to enjoy going back again and again! The extra treatments you add to the pedicures are also very nice! This place is horrible. They used a used towel to do my nails. I specifically told them I wanted a clear coat and I specially told them no gel or polish just a clear coat and they ended up doing gel. The towel my mom put her feet on was dirty as well and left residue on the bottom of her feet. And the person who did my sisters nails cut all of her nails way too short, to the point her some of nails were bleeding. I've been trying to grow my nails out and they cut all of my nail off and all the progress. My moms toes had 3 air bubbles and just a clump of nail polish on her toe. No wait even though I expected one since they looked a little busy. My feet embarrass me. I use dark polish and I guess keeping it on for a long time isn't good, so my toenails stain. She did a great job at making that ugliness nearly disappear. For my nails, I wanted to try the powder dipped nails, adding length and cutting them natural coffin shape. Loved my nails! Ya get what you pay for. My normal nail place was booked and I was on a time crunch so I thought I would give them a shot on my mani pedi. The mani was not going well so I cancelled my pedi. They buzzed off all the gel on my nails versus removing with acetone, I audible said ouch multiple times and had to ask them to be more gentle. The cuticle scissors must have been dull because they kept pulling at my cuticles. I left covered in nail dust which was never cleaned off my hands and arms. No lotion on my hands so they are really dry as I have dry skin. The lights were also off the whole time and no music so it was dark and quiet which felt weird. I just relocated to Escondido CA and was calling local nail shops for pricing. When I called a male answered and was very polite and helpful and gave me the right quote! They have only been open about 3 mos and it was only hubby and wife there when I went in. They made me an appointment and saw me right away. The atmosphere is quite and they were both very sweet and conversational. The salon is simply decorated and not the fanciest but they do good work. I didn't give them a 5 star because they wanted to charge me $5 more to keep my oval shape for my nails as I was just going in for refills. So I had to change the shape to square. The lady said oval shape is more work. I've never had a nail place tell me that! I tried this new gel color changing color that I'm in love with! Good prices I'll be back! read more

Today was the first time I had visited this shop and my experience was less than average. The prices are very affordable, and will be the only reason I'd come back. While selecting my color they man who did my nails brought out his dog. This dog sat on top of the nail tech's station the entire time I was there. It barked often... it was odd and unsanitary. My pedicure was done well, but there was things that could've been done differently. I got the basic pedicure an added the paraffin wax. The gentleman that did my pedicure had the wax way too hot and I let out a little YELP(lol). He also cut my nails so low and at an awkward angle my foot now looks like it's turning in. He obviously caught his mistake and my right foot is at a normal length. He also finished my toes without asking me if i was pleased with the color. I would've like two coats of polish. Most places ask once they do one coat. Besides my toe nail length and angle my toes do look cute. Simultaneously I was getting a full acrylic set. This lasy has the first station once you enter. She was rude and short and I will never go to her again. She was helping the women next to me as I sat down. She was waxing her eyebrows. Guess where she placed the used eyebrow strips!! On my pedicure chair arm as I am physically sitting there. So now I'm already bothered. She finishes up with her and starts on me. She didn't wash her hands on anything. So I tell her what I want and she begins. She had the nerve to place her weight on my arm as she worked. I am a customer not her chair nor her prop. She did this several times. I felt like it was rude and I was not valued as a customer. I asked for a basic short round shape and she was rude about it. I work in a medical setting and need my nails to look as natural as possible. If I do decide to go back for a fill I won't go to her, but the other girl who made all her clients smile and laugh. Went in to get old acrylics removed and a new full set but ombré and coffin-shaped. Everything was $45. Omg So they removed my old set really nice. With acetone wraps and everything. The older gentleman was working on me then switched me to one of the ladies working there. She showed me two "pink" powders for my ombré. One was super bright and the other was supposed to be "rose" colored. I hated it. But idk what I was supposed to do with fake tips on at this point. It was NOT pink, it was *nude*. Literally looks like an extension to my skin. I stuck with it because I have gotten nude and pink before and just preferred pink. I then tried to remind her that I wanted the ombré to start where my fingertip naturally starts. She put on so much white powder.... then so much "pink" powder! I really didn't try to be picky but I've never really had this problem elsewhere. And I didn't want to go home with something I hated (but did anyway). She was shaping my nails a LOT... I ended up getting a superficial cut from her excessive filing to get a coffin shape, which turned out round and globular because she kept filing my nails shorter and shorter too. Every time I said something she would get annoyed and tell me she tried to tell me to bring a picture of what I wanted. Umm wtf I was being helped by the old guy and he passed me off to you?? I spoke to someone on the phone beforehand and they told me no such thing either. Ombré is basic and so am I, idk what there was to show exactly? I grimaced the entire time because of how grueling the filing and buffing was. Also I hated the shape and color and length and the fact that I was sitting there for 2 hours by that time. She kept trying to make me feel better by saying a lot of people like this color. But I was just thinking about how sad I was because these will be my birthday nails and I hate them lol. This is a long over due review, and I have been reluctant to write it because I genuinely like everyone here. Why I am writing is because I am pretty frustrated. Every time I book an appointment, I come on time and they are NEVER ready for me. Additionally, they put me with someone else and never the person I book with. This is the FIFTH time is it has happened. I like coming here because they are very reasonable with their prices and I do like the people. I just wish they would run the salon differently and treat repeat customers better than trying to fit someone in last minute before their appointment comes to get money. Was not blown away by my experience here. Made an appointment for pedicures and got seated in a pedicure chair right away, but it took over 30 min before the process started. Bonus was that I got to enjoy the massage chair a little longer! The clipping/filing was uneven and the nail tech nicked the polish on my big toe as they were putting my flip flop on...and then quickly ran off! I assumed he would be back to fix it but that was not the case- he immediately sat down and started doing someone else's nails. At that point I was running late for my next appointment so I didn't make a fuss. I ended up filing my nails to make them even and trying to correct the nicked paint when I got home and once I fixed them up it looks like a decent pedicure. 5 stars for the gel pedicure I received. It was quick but not rushed. I only Waited 15 minutes to be seen--understandable since I arrived at 3 on a Friday without an appointment, I knew it was gonna be busy. The gentleman that worked on my feet was very nice and thorough. All the staff there seemed attentive. They also have a wide variety of gel and regular polish colors to choose from. Now onto the negative. I docked two stars because it was unbelievably hot inside the salon. It was hotter than it was outside and they only had 3 measly fans running inside the place blowing the hot air about. I am not one who gets hot easily, so when I say it was hot it was HOT. I woukd have docked one star for this inconvenience, but they didn't even offer or have water available to combat the heat. By the time it was over I felt incredibly flushed and my friend said she felt the heat radiating off of me when I got home unaware of what I went though! All in all this is a really nice place with great service, but owners need to dish out the money to keep AC running and not have dizzy customers or at the very least offer cold water. read more
