DO NOT RECOMMEND. They are cheap but ultimately a waste of money and very frustrating experience, will never be coming back. (Go to Sunflower or anywhere else!) Had planned to get both a mani and a pedi, a few minutes into my pedicure I was pissed and knew I was not going to pay for a mani as well. She had my feet soak in cold water that eventually turned warm for about one minute before going in on my toenails. I told her to start I didn't want color, but more importantly to not cut down the edges of my toenails especially the big toes bc I am prone to ingrowns. I was looking down at my phone and not even a minute later she was cutting deep and aggressively down the side of my big toe. It hurt bad but she already made the cut so I let her finish that toe, painfully. When she went to the other foot, I said again but more explicitly to not cut down the toenail, just across. She agreed, and then 20 seconds later grabbed her clippers to go at it!! I stopped her and told her not to do it. After very minimal, but painful nail maintenance not even totaling 5 minutes, she rubbed my unsoftened feet with a pumice stone, mostly going hard at the arch of my foot where my skin is completely soft!! It hurt and I was just absolutely pissed. Considered literally walking out but I was with my girlfriend and wasn't about to leave her (she was also disappointed with her overall experience, but my nail tech was worse). She then gave me the weakest, lamest pedicure massage I have EVER received. I get pedicures for the the massage so that was incredibly disappointing. What also made it weird is she used one bare hand and one hand with a massive glove on it, which felt very strange. By then I literally just wanted it to be over. All in all, it lasted 15 minutes MAX which is absolutely ridiculous, I'm going to have at least one ingrown toenail, maybe another, and a complete waste of $40 for both of our pedicures. I usually always tip even if I have bad service, but I did not tip here because it was that bad. DO NOT GO. Pictured: massive gloved and and non-gloved bandaid hand, on foot I had to STOP her from giving me another ingrown. So disappointing. Will never go back. This is such a great nail salon. I went in yesterday for a gel manicure amd spa pedicure. Both Sarah and her husband worked on me. I usually hat getting a pedicure because they hurt when they clip my toe nails. Sarah was very gentle and didn't hurt me. She was super nice when I didn't like the color I picked and went to grab 3 or 4 new colors for me. Her husband, did an awesome job with my gel manicure (which was $20 by the way.. awesome price) I chose the color changing color and it came out perfect. This is now my to go place for my nails. Nice clean work some bumpy acrylic parts BUT... I asked for 'holographic nails' which is supposed to be the loose powder that is RUBBED & BUFFED on top with a sponge brush or silicone brush or even your finger to create a smooth blended effect. She only gently pats it on! She didn't want to rub it in which is the proper way to apply holographic powder. It just looks glittery and not smooth true holographic. It's quite frustrating she didn't get it. You can see in one of the photos posted that says "holograph" is NOT the right way... NOT the right look. Had been here before and had good service withbo issue, but came in here not even a week ago to get a full set and gel pedicures for both myself and cousin. I requested gel pedicure as well as pink and white nails. The service was nothing spectacular, and our nails and toes started turning yellow/ugly /lifting the following day. We paid over 200 plus tips for mediocre pedicures and gel full sets. Thebottom of my feet were raw and actually had scuff marks and cuts from where it was supposed to be filed and calluses removed. This is my go-to nail place! I've been on the lookout for affordable & consistent service and this is it. First of all, this place is no frills. There's low soothing music, fans, plenty of chairs, not much in terms of decor, and a TV that only plays DVDs. It's run by a wife/husband duo, which means they do your nails and man the phone, payments etc. Don't be surprised if they leave you to work on something else for a few minutes throughout the time you're there. My hope is they become successful enough to hire more staff, but for now, they do their best to make it work. I love getting my gel manicures done here ($20) as I can just walk in for them. I'd call ahead though and double check if there's a wait or not, otherwise they'd ask you to just come back at a later time anyway. Unfortunately, I'd have to dock one star today because during the filing, they cut my skin on one finger, but he immediately stopped and apologized, so no biggie. Just sucks because I work at a hospital and having a small cut wakes you right up after every 30 seconds that you use sanitizer wash! :,) Update: They now have 4 workers in total, I believe Diana and Kelly are new! I had Kelly do my spa pedicure + gel mani, which came out to roughly $40 +tip; and the quality was amazing, she did not miss any spots and one week later, no chips and it's still as shiny as new! Took them an hour and a half to do my pedicure and as I was getting acrylics she filed my nails down too short and I don't have 3 hours to stay in a salon to get them fixed. I don't want to pay for something I don't like and I don't think anyone else would either. No one wants to pay for a noticeably crooked nail or nails 10x shorter than they asked for especially when you've been sitting in a chair for an hour and a half. I didn't want to continue to put gel polish on so I didn't. I was here from 3-4:30 and I told them I have to leave to go home and eat because I can't eat past 6pm and they continued to try to get me to pay for the gel price bc "a service was provided" . But if I didn't get gel or ANY polish I shouldn't pay $30 for that. As I told them, I would pay $30 for my pedicure but not pay for my nails, they threatened to call the cops which wasn't needed because no one was yelling or screaming I calmly explained to them my situation and agreed to compromise before they even threatened that. She proceeded to say that she will cut my nails off right then and there and I wouldn't have to pay. And she even tried to come towards me to cut my nails. But what's the difference ? You still took the time you said you took so you'd basically be destroying your "work" even more and leave me with nasty looking acrylic leftovers on my nails .... wtf A regular full set is $20 but they wanted to take $10 off the gel price and make me pay $20 but I didn't get ANY POLISH because I left before she could paint them since I have a schedule I need to keep to. I then proceeded to pay $40 ($10 for the ugly nails I shouldn't have had to pay for and $30 for my gel pedicure) and left. I was fine paying for my pedicure because that was fine, just not my nails. No one wants to pay for something that's ugly and not what they asked for. They just want your money and have ZERO respect for your time. I went to this shop because it has great reviews, I'm not sure why. I got a full set of acrylic nails and they were so thick and unnatural looking. Not to mention CROOKED. The technician made my cuticle bleed with the file. The worst part is I observed two guests get a pedicure in the same tub and then did not wash the tub in between and used all the same tools!!
