    Vegan hot good
    Brittanie R.

I tried this food truck while in town, it was a convenient place to get something vegan. They carry beyond sausage hot dogs. I can't remember the specific hotdog I got, but it had onions and peppers on top with mustard. It was pretty good. They're a bit pricey, but everything is pricy these days. I wouldn't mind going again and trying some of their other hot dogs.

Great food! Stopped here on a whim to satisfy the hot dog lovers on our trip. There was a bit of a wait to order and get our food, but everyone was satisfied with their meals. Loved that they had so many different options. They had a few picnic tables where you could sit and eat, or you could easily take the food to go.

There's no way I could pass up a place referencing roadside weiners. Being that it's parked next to a Shell, you can with one hundred percent certainty call this a "gas station glizzy". There's no real comparison of your regular ballpark frank to a gas station glizzy. Everyone attending cookouts around So for sure a regular basic hot dog is pricy. It really is. It's nearly the price of a specialty dog. Though an all beef dog with some ketchup and relish is damn good. Good grease, Good bun. And as you'll see what I wrote below, the glizzy is great. The specialty dogs though. Lulu's Crab Rangoon Dog versus the Flyin' Hawaiian. Wooooo. Crab Rangoon was the staff pick between the two. It's loaded. LOADED. I mean using two yards and the full sideways turn of the head to gobble this glizzy. Big bun, which appears to be better than the regular Sysco slop that appears everywhere. The dog itself has some has some thickness and flavor to it. Then the pork bellow. Loaded. Lots of big pieces. Good amounts of fat, good flavor. That cream cheese/sweet chili sauce, ON POINT. Topped with perfectly pickled cucumbers and red onion. Dude. It's great. It's like the topping to a wonderful salad. Don't forget the homemade crab rangoon. Wrapped well, crisped to perfection, and filled with the right...filling. This place is worth the stop. Excellent hotdog burps to follow. Gobble that gas station glizzy banger. I heard the fries are worth a try, but I didn't get a chance.

Lots of parking, located in a random gas station on the way to south Tahoe. Menu is pretty fast and lots of option, price is a bit steep for just hotdogs. They average between $8-$14. Elote hotdog: 1.5 Italian hot dog: 4/5 Mac and cheese hot dog: 5/5 Plain hotdog: 4/5

Very good flavor but pretty small for the price. The Italian sausage was small. Okay/poor value as we left still hungry but service was friendly.

Great food!! Lots of fun menu options and everything is good. The porky fries are a personal favorite - add jalapeños!

We wanted something easy and fast, so I suggested checking out Pretty Odd Wieners. Plus, I know the hubs likes a good dog. We placed the order online and arrived early. (It wasn't too far from our house.) They gave us a buzzer and we sat at their picnic tables and waited. (Note: There are giant ants at the tables. I'm not scared of ants, but just so you know.) My fav was the chicago dog. I liked the contrast of spicy, sour, etc. Very tasty. The sonoran dog had a lot going on. Tasted good all together tho. I love chili, but I hate beans. Luckily, their chili doesn't have beans! Yay! I decided to try the chili fries due to this. Tasty, but very salty. They come on seasoned fries. This needed onions or something to cut into the salt. The hubs and I had tried this spot out before covid, but we didn't remember much about the meal. Glad I was able to try them again! REVIEW #3518

This was like a diamond in the rough! The food was amazing and the service was too! They have so many choices- you can get Italian sausage or all beef hotdogs and more- There are chairs and tables and an umbrella outside to sit- I will be back for sure if I have time while I'm here

But once we got our large onion rings order, we noticed that the tray used was bigger than the large size that was displayed, so that was inaccurate. I would've ordered the smaller size if I knew. The cashier wasn't very friendly and had a very heavy accent so we struggled to understand her when we asked what sauces they had. She looked at us funny when we asked her to repeat herself and we couldn't understand some of what she was saying. She kind of gave us a slight attitude and so that experience wasn't very pleasant. The food itself was good. The burger looked so aesthetic and delicious. This was seriously one good looking burger! It was juicy, we ordered the patty medium rare. The texture of the patty was alright, but everything else about the burger was great. The onion rings were massive and insanely crunchy, just wish there was a bit more flavor to it, then it would've been perfect.

It is a permanent operation, set up on the porch of Wico Farm Store, located in the Sonora Plaza Shopping Center, on Mono Way. The restaurant is located on the sidewalk in front of the store, protected from the elements and offers countless options when it comes to dressing out your dog. Honestly, I don't think I've ever seen a hot dog restaurant that offers such a wide array of condiments. Comfortable patio dining is also offered. Doc's Dogs menu offers hot dogs, hot links, nacho cheese, chips, chili, drinks and more. Some of the perks include $1.00 off for veterans, free hot dogs for veterans on Veterans Day, and if your beloved fur buddy is with you he or she will get a "doggie dog," on the house. These are traditions carried on from the previous owner. The chilled box includes all of the fresh condiments, including more mustard and sauces, sliced tomato, diced white onion, sauerkraut, dill pickle relish, sliced peperoncini and pickled, diced jalapeño peppers. Between the choices on the table and the chilled condiment box, you have countless choices to make your hot dog truly unique. In addition, there is a table that holds a wide array of salts, spices hot sauces, along with mustard, ketchup and barbecue sauce. I started at the top of the menu and went with a "Quarter Pound Dog," custom dressed out to my every dining whim. Doc's Dawgs uses quarter pound wieners from Miller's Dogs, manufactured in nearby Lodi. This large dog was everything a hot dog lover could ever ask for, as the quarter pound dog was grilled perfection, tender, juicy, complete with natural casing. The dog was seated on a large, fresh bun, which fit the dog perfectly and added to the goodness. Note that the "dog" in Doc's Dawgs isn't your garden variety supermarket hot dog, it's a true hot dog, complete with natural casing. From the chilled condiment selection I added mayonnaise, plain yellow mustard, dill pickle relish, chopped white onion, along with a touch of sourkraut. I didn't add any of the salts or hot sauce from the table, as by the time I was finished, my dog was fully dressed. My first bite rewarded me with a satisfying "snap," thanks to the natural casing of the Miller's Dog. Yes, this was the real deal, as the dog was natural, which always is the place to start when you want to enjoy a superior hot dog. The dog-to-bun ratio was spot-on, which is crucial for a superior hot dog. The condiments worked in tandem with the dog to provide a perfect taste sensation. The hot dog was simply delicious! Now I know why all "foodies" and hot dog lovers rave about the amazing hot dogs, served by Doc's Dawgs in Sonora! Sonora hot dog enthusiasts have it right, as simply stated, Doc's Dawgs serves the BEST hot dogs in Tuolumne County! The dogs are amazing, the condiments are nearly endless, the patio seating is comfortable, and friendly hot dog chef Renee will treat you like a rock star. John and his team have your hot dogs covered for your dining pleasure in western Placer County. It's mid afternoon, Saturday, June 07, 2025, and I'm enjoying the Rocklin Brewfest 2025 and I'm in the mood for a delicious hot dog. I've come to the right place, as Doggiestyle Hot Dogs was on site, and serving hot dogs for all to enjoy. This is a pop-up restaurant that servers hot dogs at events all over western Placer County. I went with a "Quarter Pound Nathan Dog," How can you beat that for a great hot dog? The dog began with a quarter pound Nathan's Hot Dog, which was grilled to perfection by hot dog chef John, on site, at the Rocklin Brewfest. The dog was simply perfect, and fitted perfectly with the large, fresh bun, which was a start for an amazing lunch. On to the condiments! The trip to the nearby condiment bar was worthwhile, as I added a cornucopia of condiments, including mustard, mayonnaise, dill pickle relish, chopped white onion, sauerkraut and especially peperoncini, which is a rare treat for hot dogs. I suppose you could call my hot dog loaded? No ketchup whatsoever, as I never desecrate a hot dog by adding ketchup. Not to mention... may I say my dog was loaded with delicious condiments? One bite into the dog I was rewarded with a refreshing "snap," thanks to the natural casing on Nathan's Hot Dog, which made the hot dog both worthwhile and simply delicious. The condiments I added simply enhanced the dog, and didn't take anything away from the amazing hot dog, and the fresh bun. Such a delicious hot dog! Chef John knows how to grill a hot dog, and the Nathan's Hot Dog he grills are as good as it gets. I tip my cowboy hat to chef John, and his delicious hot dogs!
