What a great little find. Husband had a burger and I had the fish. Easy to order inside at the counter and we sat outside with the dog. They brought our food out to us. Food was fresh and hot. The fish sandwich was great. Crunchy topping on the fried fish. Cole slaw was tasty and the bun toasted. I got onion rings as well and they were huge and crunchy. Inside seating was a little loud but we sat outside on the patio. Umbrellas were great to block the afternoon hot sun. Wait staff checked on us to make sure we were doing OK. Check this place out. We stopped here while visiting Tahoe and were disappointed with the experience. The cashier was polite but unable to answer basic questions about the menu, including what type of chicken was used in the sandwich. The chicken sandwich itself was a low quality frozen fillet, the slider was another frozen patty, and the bacon burger was only average. The fries were the only item that stood out. The onion rings tasted like hard paper when you bit into them. The environment felt unprofessional. The cashier kept playing with her phone. The cashier was reprimanded by an older employee in front of customers, and another staff member openly ignored her. The overall atmosphere came across as disorganized and uncomfortable. We should have chosen a more reliable option. I would not recommend this place for anyone looking to try something new. 2 stars. read more

I am very disappointed with the service I received. I ordered a basket of sweet potato fries, but they were never delivered. I called the restaurant twice, and both times I was told that a manager would contact me and issue a refund. No one ever called me back, and I still have not received my refund. It's frustrating to have to keep following up over an order that I never received. I expected better customer service and for the issue to be resolved promptly. I would like my refund processed immediately and hope the restaurant improves its communication and customer service so other customers don't have the same experience. read more

A trip to Lake Tahoe and staying overnight at the Hampton suite, we noticed the signs show "Burger Me!" As the best burger in Tahoe/Reno! Boy they were right! We came on a Friday evening around 6pm. Looking at the menu, I had to try the NV Elk burger and garlic fries! While we waited for our food the place is clean a spacious! Parking was plenty. Our food arrived within 20 minutes. The large size fries was a lot and the 1/3 burger was big at least for me. The meat was cooked medium to perfection. Juicy and tender and not dry at all. Fries had a lot of garlic which was what I wanted. The registers was professional and quick. Our overall experience was great! I recommend others to try any burger here! We were craving burgers and Burger Me hit the spot! I got the regular burger and my fiancé ordered the elk burger. I love all the options including toppings, done-ness level, and sides. We both ordered ours medium rare with the garlic aioli and grilled onions with all the regular fixings (tomato, lettuce, pickles). I also made mine a combo with the onion rings. My burger was perfect: juicy, flavorful. The onion rings were also good, but the batter was a bit thick. The elk burger, as we assumed, was a bit on the dry side because it's so lean. First of all we loved the large selection of different types of meat. I went with bbq bison burger because it comes with smoked jalapeño that I like, friends got elk burger and garlic fries, sweet potato fries, and onion rings. Garlic fries had chunks of garlic and was delicious, burgers were big and perfectly cooked medium, also my friend ordered chocolate malt shake which was so yummy. I would say this is a 4.5 star place but I rounded it up to 5 star because the quality of food was consistent even during the busy holiday rush and the staff was super friendly even in the middle of busy dinner rush. We end up visiting this place multiple time as this was right next to our hotel. Not only they have burgers but they also have big salad if you want something lighter! Their NV Elk Burger was my favorite. I love their roasted garlic mayo and it went so well with their caramelized red onion. And their brioche buns were just spot on!!! I enjoy trying various protein selections from their menu! And I love their fries. Their garlic fries are addictive. My husband raves their chocolate malt. Most of my review is about customer service. The food I would say 4star. I order online. Tells me will be ready at 7:13pm. I show up a little early. Not ready yet. At 7:35 I see a customer who showed up way after I did and place his order in person, get his order. At 7:35 I go up to the counter and ask do you guys even have my order because the gentlemen in blue showed up maybe 5mins ago and order and already got his. The kid behind the counter asked my name. Oh yea. Grabbed my order and came back and said "sorry they just finished your order" don't lie to me. Not knowing how long it sat there. The receipt says promise to be done at 7:11. All the food is prepared fresh so it takes a little bit longer than traditional fast food but I think it's well worth the wait. Cowboy Burger - a unique twist on a more traditional barbecue burger with added pickled jalapeños. Super well balanced with not too much barbecue sauce to overwhelm the other flavors. Beef was nice and juicy. Fries - seasoned well and fried to a perfect golden brown. No complaints here! They have house made ranch and chipotle sauce which are both top tier.
