To start off I have to say that I am so glad I've found an amazing groomer. I'm not kidding when I say that we have went to every grooming salon within a 10-20 mile radius of our home and have had everything from horrible grooms, our dogs still smelling like they did when we dropped them off, nails bleeding from being clipped too short, injuries such as cuts from scissors, very rude groomers, showing up for the appointment and then being told the groomer never showed up for work and we couldn't get rescheduled for another month, and just seeing that my dogs were not their happy playful selves after we pick them up. I must add that I am a very easy going person and really never complain about much. So me of all people having so many issues with so many different grooming places makes me think. If I'm having problems then I'm positive most others are too. That along with concern over any and all dogs safety and care is the reason I'm wanting to be very detailed in this review. Before writing any review I always want to try the place a few or more times just to make sure that the service is consistent and this review is no different. We have had 4 appointments for our 3 dogs now at Pretty Paws. I can't tell you how happy we are with the grooms, the service, the groomers and everything in between. I like to have at least a couple appointments over at an establishment before I give my reviews, I just think it's better rate of experience. Having said that, today was my third appointment with Pretty Paws and with each visit I've been more impressed. Also, fun fact is that in Arizona a person does not have to be trained or licensed to be a dog groomer nor is insurance required. That's very scary to me that anyone can buy a pair of scissors and clippers from Amazon and be grooming my dog the next day. I have a medium sized Doodle and a Mini Doodle and I've had a hard time finding a groomer that takes the time to do an actual professional full breed groom on either of my dogs. Every single place just cuts their hair with no style or attempt to bring out their cuteness. Pretty Paws is the first to do an actual Teddy Bear Style cut on my dogs, like the dogs you see on Pinterest lol. They take the time to shape every part of the dog. Plus my dogs have never looked or smelled cleaner from any other place and the smell lasts so long it's crazy. To sum it all up, they really know what they are doing and it shows. Both groomers are super sweet, easy to talk too and let's just say that I still can't believe the price is cheaper then what I used to pay for a subpar groom for each of my dogs. So glad I found this place! I've taken my dogs to a few other places and every time without fail when I pick them up I'm told that something couldn't be done. Each time I never had a fully groomed dog, it was either the nails,the paws or the face couldn't be completed because my dog wasn't cooperating and they can only spent an hour or whatever on each dog but I was still charged full price. Also I wasn't the only one because hearing from friends and colleagues some had the same thing happen to them. It was just strange because it's a service that should be completed. Idk ‍ So I took my dogs here a few weeks ago and somehow they made my old dog look like a puppy again lol and my male who is a scaredy cat about everything warmed up to both groomers right away and I actually had a hard time getting him out of there when I came to pick them up. Both dogs were happy, groomed completely, looked great and smelled amazing. The smell actually lasted a couple weeks which usually it's gone by end of the day. Best groom my dogs have ever had and the first time they were happy when being picked up. They smelled amazing and looked awesome. I am so relieved that I've finally found a place that I can trust to groom my dogs. We have tried so many grooming salons in the area and either they looked terrible for a much higher price, my dogs just didn't seem happy, groomers were rude and took it upon themselves to do a completely different style that I had asked for and the groomers just didn't seem to enjoy their jobs and it was obvious. Also every other groomer in the past has told me that my dogs nail quicks were long and they were unable to get the nails shorter but Pretty Paws was able to cut them very short and used the Dremel so that they weren't sharp. I love that the dogs are not in kennels, my dogs weren't stressed and I really think it's because of it being in a residence and not a commercial atmosphere but there was a clear positive difference in my dogs. I am extremely happy with both the grooming and customer service. I admit I can be a little picky especially when it comes to my babies :) read more

Wow! Wow! Wow! They did an amazing job on my 3 dogs and even gave me a Sunday appointment because of my busy travel schedule. My dogs have never looked this good. I'm kind of upset about how much money I've spent at other places for subpar grooms. Also this place is cheaper than most others in the area for better work too. My dogs look like they should be in commercials. I almost didn't come here because of a couple of the reviews on Yelp but after going and then reading the negative reviews again I honestly think it is a mix up of businesses. So I dove a little deeper because that's what I do and I didn't understand after my experience. I found there is another place with the same name of "Pretty Paws" and not "Pretty Paws Dog Grooming" (which is this places registered name). The other business has many negative reviews. After meeting both the groomers today I can assure you that these ladies care about the dogs and are very nice, those negative reviews are not correct. Had to switch groomers because mine moved out of state and was willing to give Angela a try, let me just tell you!!! She is absolutely amazing and just the sweetest girl ever!! She literally even sent home a little goodie bag with my pup, it had a toy and treats and poop baggies... literally have never been to a groomer who does that and cares that much about her clients!! She's amazing, and my dog literally looks the best he's ever looked before. I have a doodle and normally tend to get him shaved down with a teddy bear face and that's what we got this time but his teddy bear face looked soooo cute and puffy and round... omg I'm just so in love!! Our regular groomer was out long term with health issues, so we had been taking our Molly to another groomer, but we're so not happy. Last time her ears were done unevenly. So we searched for another decent groomer that could get her in after our normal groomer kept pushing back the return date. By this time, Molly was pretty matted as she HATES being brushed. I came across Angela on a neighborhood site, and am SO happy I did! She did a great job and Molly absolutely LOVES her! So easy to communicate with and scheduling was so easy! I highly recommend her! My first time going to Pretty Paws and my first review I've ever given. I was really impressed by everything starting from the reminder texts to communication and my dog looks great! It's really hard for me to drop my little guy off anywhere but I was very comfortable after I met both of the ladies. When finished and I came to pick him up he was playing and having so much fun that he didn't even want to leave. That tells me that he was treated well and in turn makes me a continued customer. My Marble (frenchie) was going to get a bath and de-shed. When I arrived I was greeted by the daughter and she was so sweet! She confirmed what my pup was getting done and then I left. When I picked my puppy up she was so shiny and smelled so good! Marble had the cutest bandana on and they gave us a little treat bag. It was all about how we were treated and our pup. My marble still smells sooooooo good and is super soft. I highly recommend the mom and daughter duo. I will be returning. read more

Best groomer I have taken a pet too! I picked our Daisy up after her grooming appointment and she was so happy! She looked absolutely adorable with a cute red feather and bandana on ! I will not go anywhere else! Angela was very kind and it was obvious she loves and understands what your pup needs.
