They had perennial hibiscuses, very healthy looking hydrangea varieties, lavenders, clematis, elephant ear plants and a good collection of other sun and shady perennials along with annuals. Most trees were short and the ones that did have height had missing limbs. We couldn't find one tree that was suitable, especially for the price of $60 or $70. It just wasnt worth the gas money/drive. What we did end up doing was getting one of their trees from North Carolina ($65), now those trees were Awesome, and they smelled like Christmas. If they wouldn't have had those trees I would've given them 1 star. Also we witnessed other people getting the North Carolina trees rather than Feezer's trees. Bring Cash or Check they do Not except Plastic. Nice Staff and scenery for photographs, but just NO good trees to cut down.

I always had real Christmas trees growing up, but I had never bought one as an adult. Nevertheless, Almost Heavenly Trees & Greenery made the process way easier than I could have expected, and for the first time, like ever in my life, we left the tree lot with the first tree we looked at. This is a fantastic 'mom and pop' tree farm operation and the young man, forgive me that I have forgotten his name, was super fantastic! He spent 20 minutes with us making sure we had the exact tree we wanted, and even helped up strap it to the roof of our car for the trip home. I feel really bad that I've forgotten his name because he was so personable. Not once did I feel like he was rushing us even though the lot was busy. And the trees are spectacular. It didn't look like much when we arrived because it is just trees in a lot, but they are quite fresh. The trees (douglas firs) from the family farm in WV were cut about a week before being sold. We ended up with a frasier fir (personal favorite) which came from a farm in NC but we were told they were about as fresh but they just couldn't confirm the day they had actually been cut. The prices were very reasonable, especially for being a local business and not a 'big box' store. We were just so impressed and are so very happy with our lovely tree that we are definitely life-long customers as long as we are within reasonable driving distance! They last all of December, always get it the day after thanksgiving and keep it up until New Year's Day. This year our tree fell over after being up for two weeks. It didn't feel secure and I called to get some advice and spoke with Matt who explained it was likely our tree stand (which it was) and offered to have someone come to our home to install our tree in a new tree stand the following day. As promised, Sam came with the new tree stand and put our tree in it the following day. They went above and beyond and followed through on everything they said they would. We will continue to get our trees from almost heavenly for as long as we live in this area and I have already told many people about this company so you should be expecting some new customers! We had the lot to ourselves before two other families showed up. We found our tree after looking for about 10 minutes (we actually found a few a we liked in that small span of time!) Their sign described what to do and listed Curt's number if we needed any assistance. Curt actually came down to assist another customer with a larger tree, seems like a very cool guy! He can wrap your tree if needed and also sell tree stands. Will definitely be back next year!

They have several varieties of trees ranging from 8' to 2' tall. (Some even bigger) They have trees with the root ball attached that you can transplant to your own yard. But it's not just the great selection of trees, the gift shop, the snack bar and the more than reasonable prices, it's the warm, family atmosphere that we find so refreshing. The entire family and everyone that works there are so pleasant, friendly, and work very hard to make your holiday amazing. Every year we drive past 3 or 4 different tree farms to visit Chery Grove. And every year Brian greets us with a smile, asks how we've been, fills us in on the trees and we're off to find this seasons tree. Parking is ample, access around can be tricky as sections can be narrow but is manageable. Staff here are super helpful and friendly. Everything from plants, to bird feeders and seeds, to a gift for anyone. Landscape services are available here. Grab a coffee at Rise Up and come through, Homestead is a neighborhood fun stop place.

So, temper my review with this in mind. ;) That being said, I have zero complaints about this location. Other than... it simply doesn't have the same footprint they have out in D-ville. It feels cramped inside, and there isn't a lot of room for a cart or moving around too much. Still, they have a ton of gardening and decorating products, especially around Christmastime! We were actually here to see Santa, since we couldn't book him at the other location. But, I'm glad we checked it out. They have a Rise Up coffee shop attached too, which was convenient. Made for a nice little treat after shopping. I really don't have a lot else to say. It's still hit-or-miss as far as value is concerned. Some items seem vastly overpriced, and others are more reasonable. You'll pay more for seasonal items, of course, but check back after said season is over (or close to its end), and you can find some very good bargains. The customer service is on par as well. Very friendly staff who are helpful and approachable. Never had an issue with service at Homestead! Overall, great garden shop in Severna Park, and were it closer, I'd be a regular here instead. I love their holiday train setup in the back as well! (Though, again, Davidsonville has a LOT more space for a MUCH bigger display... but it's the effort that matters, and both deserve the highest marks!)
