They've helped my mother order beautiful custom jewelry and appraise and trade in our inherited family pieces. We went in recently to pick my fiancé's wedding ring, and he had no idea where to start (chronically bad at making decisions)! Isabelle took perfect care of us, made great suggestions, and allowed us to explore their inventory to find the right option. She is deeply knowledgeable, passionate, and patient. We came back a few months later to make a final decision and purchase, and Isabelle had notes about everything we liked, his measurements and favorite style from our original visit! Took in my favorite ring to be repaired. I was a tad intimidated, it's a rather posh looking establishment. The one salesperson on the floor was with customers, but after a few minutes, they greeted me warmly, and said the other salesperson would be in shortly to assist me. After that it was so easy. My damaged piece of jewelry, nothing high-end, was repaired & cleaned in a few days. They treated my little trinket like a crown jewel. Everyone there was just the very best! read more

We connected with David, the president, who helped us for nearly an hour and was incredibly cordial, informative, and literally made the entire experience painless and very enjoyable. I have never had a better experience shopping for something so meaningful....it was no pressure, relaxed, and just an all-round joy of a trip. We found the perfect ring and diamond, even found a wedding band for myself AND David had his team turn around everything in 4 days to assure that I had a day to propose and a ring for the elopement ceremony. Upon the recommendation of my brother and best friend, I went to Preusser Jewelers when shopping for an engagement ring. My (very particular) fiancé and I shopped for engagement rings for about 16 months, and Debra stuck with us the whole time. Worked with Karen 7 years ago, when shopping for a replacement wedding ring. We had looked at many different rings, at many different jewelers and I was "on the fence" about what I wanted. Karen was able to exactly narrow down what I was looking for and I fell in LOVE with the ring she showed us, as well as her recommendation for an oval diamond for the main stone. Then, life happened, and the money we had saved up for the new ring, instead went into our needed new roof. Fast forward to just a couple of months ago. My original wedding ring had broken in half, and we now had the money re-saved so we went in to see if I could still order the ring. Let me begin by saying I am not a local, I live in New York City and was first introduced to Preusser's from a family friend whose taste I admire greatly. I was shopping for engagement rings at the time, in 2010, and having an insane amount of trouble locating something unique, timeless, and brilliant. Upon recommendation, I called Preusser's and spoke to Debra. Being my first large jewelry purchase, she was extremely patient and understanding of all my concerns and million questions before committing to purchase. What did I take away from that first interaction? The most loved piece of jewelry my wife owns, her engagement ring, which garner's an incredible amount of attention for it's unique setting, brilliance, and beauty. I have literally not seen the same ring anywhere, which says a lot, being that I am a New Yorker. I owe that to Preusser's! When it came time to purchase a 30th birthday gift, Debra was the first person on my mind. I reached out to her with a few ideas- I wanted a 100 inch strand of ivory pearls. Debra immediately went to work, sending me images of her suggestions. When they were not exactly what I was searching for in color or length, Debra reached out to a supplier and found me EXACTLY what I was looking for. My wife wears them almost every day. Lastly, expecting the arrival of our first child this year, I was eager to contact Preusser's to build a custom set of diamond stud earrings. Without hesitation, Debra immediately understood what my expectations would be and began sending me images of beautiful diamond pairs. One of the pairs I liked (not the least expensive of the sets she showed me, no less) Debra decided she was not entirely happy with (honesty from a retailer/sales, a rarity...) and asked that I give her another day to view pairs and see what we could come up with. Not even 12 hours later, I received an image of the most perfect pair of cushion cut diamonds! A third time, Debra and Preusser's hit it out of the park! I was thrilled. In less than a week, they were set in platinum as I requested and ready to be sent. The beautiful light green packaging is now cherished in my home.
