My wife and I recently visited Jensen Jewelers to purchase an upgrade to her original wedding ring and band. My wife visited alone the first time to get an idea for what options were available, and get some pricing information. My wife came home with tons of information, and was very impressed with the level of service that she received during the 60+ minutes that she was in the store. The sales person she was dealing with, Jerene, was super helpful, and even communicated promptly through email many times to answer questions my wife had. When she had narrowed down her selection we visited Jensen's together, and talked with Jerene for probably an hour. We talked about how we could incorporate parts of her current ring into the new ring. She discussed stone options, and never tried to push us outside of the budget we had given her to work in. It isn't very often that you go to an establishment these days, where the sales people are looking to do what is best for the customer, and not what is best for their wallets. I requested a ring to view, they told me a month. 5 weeks pass. I text asking for a status, I get "well look into it". 4 days pass, no word. I call, they said they'd talk with the person in charge of the account. 24+ hours goes by, no callback, I call again goes to voicemail, I leave a message that at this point if they don't respond within 24 hours I'll be connecting with another Jeweler. Brought it to Pfaff jewelers they said it was 18k and offered to buy for double what I was offered at Jensen. Very sad since Jensen use to be so honest. I came in to get my engagement ring resized, and I was immediately helped by the multiple store associates. They charged $40 to get the ring sized down from a 6 to a 5, quoting a 7 day wait. I was very happily surprised to get a call only 2 days later to hear that it was ready! I requested that the leftover piece cut from the band be saved, and I received that as well. This is such a great place to buy jewelry! Unlike chain jewelry stores, these people actually care about getting you the perfect piece. You will continuously see familiar faces over the years, not a stranger just selling jewelry as a job. I recently purchased a new diamond for my wedding ring. I was so excited, but didn't love the new diamond as I thought I would. They never batted an eye, offered to do a full refund when I found a new diamond that I would be happy with.
