Things started off poorly when I arrived for an appointment that I had scheduled in advance and was told I didn't have one. After showing voicemail messages and phone records confirming the appointment, it was acknowledged that I did have one, but I was informed that several other vehicles would now be ahead of me. Over the next several months, with my approval, additional work was added beyond the original estimate. When I finally received the vehicle back, the bill was nearly three times higher than the original quote. Unfortunately, the vehicle immediately developed a severe oil leak from the valve cover area. I was instructed to bring it back, but no tow was offered or suggested despite the severity of the leak. I checked the oil level and attempted to drive it back to the shop. The engine failed and locked up just a couple of miles away, requiring me to have it towed in. After discussing the situation, we agreed that installing a rebuilt engine would be a fair resolution. I agreed to pay $500 for labor and another $500 to add wiring for the oil pressure and generator warning lights. Nearly a year later, I received a call that the vehicle was finally ready for pickup. However, it barely made it a couple of blocks before I discovered the brakes were dragging badly. This was especially frustrating because brake work had been part of the original repair request. The shop kept the vehicle for another couple of weeks before I was able to pick it up for a third time. At that point, I was informed that the newly installed engine would carry absolutely no warranty. After all the time, money, and frustration involved, I ultimately sold the vehicle just to recover some of my expenses. Throughout the entire process, the attitude and communication were overwhelmingly negative and only seemed to worsen over time. What's particularly disappointing is that I used this shop about 17 years ago and received excellent service. I later learned that the mechanic who performed that work has since passed away. Sadly, the quality of service I received this time was nothing like what I remembered. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise others to look elsewhere. I would never want someone else to go through what I experienced here.

Took it back and it's been sitting there not touched for two weeks and no one thought to call to tell me there was an issue. Went and picked it up today. A hose was dangling from the underneath. Nice. They told my insurance company it wasn't safe to drive. Then why did they send it home the first time saying all repairs were complete?? I took it back to them because they didn't fix the bumpers or the windows or the running board. My claims officer called them and asked why all of a sudden it wasn't safe? They said that was incorrect information. Super mad! I'll go somewhere else for the rest of the repairs. The office ladies are very nice though, the only positive thing I have to say.

Only after threatening to take my car to another shop, they "fast tracked" me and got it done within the week. To top it off, the woman at the counter does not know how to wear a face mask properly. Between the diagnosis of my turbo & wheel bearing, ordering & delivery process of the parts, and service, I got my car within 2 days. They were absolutely great & transparent about anything they came across or might have issues with that may change the estimate. I was very pleased with their customer service, ability to provide proper care to my car, and their mechanic who did all of the work. As line item #5 on my receipt clearly shows, I was charged $25.91 for the filter, $26.00 for two metal clips, and $49.50 in labor strictly described as "Remove & Replace Engine Air Filter Element." Snapping on two clips during a routine filter change does not justify $101 total, nor does the receipt list any actual repair labor for the box itself. 2. Inaccurate Claims About My Review: Brake Inspection: The owner accused me of "fraud" regarding an $80 inspection charge. I explicitly acknowledged that "While they didn't charge for the brake inspection itself, the overall experience left a bad taste in my mouth." I acknowledge the $0 charge on that specific line item. Caliper vs. Total Brake Cost: The owner claimed I said calipers were $900. I never said that. I stated the total brake repairs came out to over $900--which is accurate, as the front disc brakes ($842.24) and rear drum service ($132.00) totaled $974.24. My review explicitly stated the calipers themselves were "almost $250" ($124.14 x 2 = $248.28), which is accurate to the penny. 3. Unclear Communication on Calipers: Replacing calipers isn't routine maintenance for standard brake wear; it's a major component replacement. Check with any reputable shop and they will agree. Replacing them without clearly explaining why the original calipers had failed--rather than just servicing pads and rotors--lacks basic transparency.
