I called to verify they had it, asked what time they closed and I was told 8pm and I headed down there from my job in Ft Lauderdale. When I arrived around 6:30 the office was closed but I was able to talk to the attendant through the door and that's when I learned that they closed at 5:30. I explained what happened and that I would leave a deposit for the part and the attendant let me in, looked up the part and had one of the guys (Maestro) bring the latch for me in a few minutes. I really was expecting to have to go back the next day but was pleasantly surprised. Someone who may have been a manager/owner even apologized for the confusion and I said I was just grateful they helped me on the spot so no apology was needed. A great experience to be sure! When I returned, Mr. Acosta said he didn't have the correct tint but told me not to worry because he would purchase it on Monday and asked me to come back today. When I showed up today, I was given yet another excuse this time involving the tint paper. He then claimed he was "trying to help" by calling his son, who quoted me 100% more than the original agreed price. This experience felt dishonest and very unprofessional. I wasted multiple trips and time based on commitments that were not honored. It honestly seemed like he no longer wanted to deal with my car because the job would take too long, instead of just being upfront about it. Took it back to Charlie's only for him to say "there's an electrical issue." How did you not find it before? Why would you fix something without fixing the actual issue first? Ridiculous. I called A&J's to confirm that they would be able to do the work I was requesting. They said yes they would be more than happy to. Service request was removing old wheels and the tires air sensor. Then replace the sensors on the new wheels with new tires. A&J's gave me the cost of the work with new tires and it was way below the other competitors! When we returned to speak with the manager, Able, we were told that because the vehicle did not technically catch fire on his property, he believed the shop was not responsible. According to him, the explosion had nothing to do with the repairs performed just one day earlier. What makes this even more heartbreaking is where and how it happened. The vehicle erupted into flames in front of our home, inside our gated community, surrounded by neighbors. My 18-year-old sister had just parked the car, and she and my 10-year-old sister were only steps away from it--barely two minutes after turning the engine off. We are beyond grateful that they survived, because this could have easily become a tragedy that claimed two young lives. Instead of showing concern or accepting any responsibility, the manager refused to even reimburse my sister for the $220 she paid in labor. She wasn't demanding the value of the vehicle or the cost of the parts. She simply asked for the labor she had already paid for after losing the very first car she had worked so hard to buy. No amount of money can replace a human life. Businesses make mistakes, but how they respond when something catastrophic happens says everything about their character. In our experience, there was no accountability, no compassion, and no willingness to help after an incident that could have ended in unimaginable loss. If you value your vehicle and, more importantly, the safety of yourself and your loved ones, I strongly encourage you to think carefully before trusting this establishment with your car. Our family's experience has been devastating, and we would never want another family to endure the fear, financial loss, and emotional trauma that we have experienced.

The tires arrived a day later than promised, which spoiled a day of vacation. But they were mounted quickly and expertly. Prices were typical, neither good nor bad. The tires they sold me were second tier models, and more than a year old. I'd have preferred newer ones. Phone communication was very good. There is no waiting room there so one is left to wander the streets while repairs are being made.
