Price chopper was one of the first stores other than Safeway that I remember my mother shopping in frequently as a child. I've never had any bad experiences within a price chopper. I remember my mother always being happy shopping there and every time I went I've been happy there. But there are no perfect stores, we all know this but this particular location comes pretty close, matter fact it's about as close to perfection as you can get. The store is located near a major roadway. The signage is very large however the wording could be a little more colorful as well as the building but that's neither here nor there. Parking is very ample and pretty much anytime of the day you can come and get a good spot. Once you step inside it is absolutely beautiful. They have their produce separated from the other parts of the store which I actually like that. I never liked going into a grocery store finding fruits surrounded by other products but that's just my pet peeve. The isles are extremely neat and clean and plentifully shelved. It's well lit and very bright and inviting. There are no strange odors (believe me some store do have that issue) just fresh and clean. The bathrooms are immaculate and I can't stress enough how important that is to me. So many grocery stores, restaurants, schools have beautiful designs beautiful products but then when you go to the bathroom it is in disarray and smells horrible. Not this place it is absolutely beautiful. To top it off the staff are very friendly and seem motivated and happy to work and to please the customer. I haven't been in this location before but other price choppers I've been at and although I never had any complaints with any Price chopper chains, this one by far outweighs the others. They seem to Go above and beyond what is already satisfactory and that is the kind of store I love to give my business.

Very unique and awesome Price Chopper. I have never been in a Price Chopper quite like this. It is located in an old car dealership building (is what it looks like). They kept the open, minimalist, industrial feel. The produce department is ENORMOUS and has garage doors that they open up on nice days. The seafood and meat department is much bigger than most Price Choppers. They have all kinds of fresh meats and seafood available. The bakery has everything from fresh breads to donuts to Mexican sweet breads. They have a lot of good ethnic options. Definitely will be going back.

Nice store. Produce selection is great. If looking for Hispanic items/fresh tortillas/dried chilis, this is the place to go.

Unsure if they had more options in the back, but outside of macaroons, no gf options. They do have tea but it's not advertised on their menu. They have such cute teapots and cups for their tea. I went for the pistachio honey latte (I'm a sucker for pistachio!) and snagged the last veggie quiche of the morning around 11am. Both were absolutely delicious and perfect for breakfast. My friend had the rosewater croissant and a strawberry matcha iced latte--both equally unique and delightful. Despite being a bustling Saturday morning, the staff was incredibly kind and efficient. There's both indoor and outdoor seating, making it a cozy spot no matter the weather. For parking, I'd recommend Westport Road or 40th Street (west of Main) and taking a short walk. Preordering whole quiches, tarts, cookies, cupcakes may require 48 hours' notice. Enchanté is more than just a bakery--it's a little slice of magic in Kansas City. I can't wait to go back and try more seasonal goodies!

I ordered off the lunch menu and got the Cuban Confit Pork sandwich and my partner got the Chicken Banh Mi. We split a bag of chips and walked out for a little less than $40 with tip. The service was friendly and "order at the counter." The worker was quick to give suggestions and a layout of the menu. My Cuban sandwich was awesome and had a little bit of a Chinese Five Spice kinda vibe. Unexpected but pleasant. There are so many other things I want to try when I go back!

This is one of the few bakeries I've had where the crust isn't just secondary to the pie filling. The crust on the peach pie is amazing. Perfect, buttery, delicious, with just the right about of crisp and flakiness. Wasn't soggy on the bottom. The key lime had a perfect ratio of cream to pie and the filling was so smooth and not overly stiff/congealed like I've had elsewhere. $6 for a giant slice of happiness is a great deal. I'll definitely come back anytime I'm craving pie.

Another classic YUM does oh so good is a traditional lemon bar, in my opinion, the perfect summer picnic dessert. Theirs is true to its classic form with tart tangy lemon filling and powdery sugar laden top, jammy in the middle, and slightly crispy around the edges. Here, the strict, timeless geometry of the Left Bank softens into a warm, sun-lit casual elegance, a neighborhood sanctuary where the hum of local politics replaces the brooding silence of the philosopher's corner. It is a space where the Democratic social scene is always in full, effervescent effect, a kinetic theater of ideas where local strategists, organizers, and policy wonks gather over marble tables to debate the future of the state while tearing apart freshly baked croissants. The air thickens not with existential dread, but with the electric, hopeful prose of a collective striving for progress, making it the definitive salon of the modern suburban landscape. The beauty of French Market lies in this seamless blending of civic passion and culinary delight. Every corner of the room feels curated with a benevolent affection, an atmosphere fueled entirely by a staff that can only be described as thoroughly fabulous. From the front counter to the busy kitchen, the team moves with a synchronized, smiling grace that makes every patron feel like the guest of honor at an intimate neighborhood gathering. They navigate the bustling room with a genuine warmth, pouring drinks and delivering plates with an infectious energy that elevates the casual setting into something truly extraordinary. It is a rare, beautiful thing to find a restaurant where the hospitality feels less like a service industry transaction and more like a generous act of civic kinship. On the plate, the market routinely touches the sublime, offering dishes that sing with a clear, poetic precision. The crab cakes are a revelation of coastal longing, packed with sweet, tender lump meat and boasting a delicate, golden sear that yields effortlessly to the fork. Nearby, the croque madame arrives as an opulent, dripping monument to breakfast-time indulgence, a decadent tower of savory ham and melted Gruyère crowned with a perfectly runny egg that coats each bite in a rich, golden velvet. To wash down these triumphs, one must order the French press coffee, a dark, aromatic brew that arrives in a slow, plunging ritual, delivering a bold, robust punch that commands your full attention and jump-starts any morning debate. While the kitchen operates at a remarkably high standard across the board, a discerning diner must exercise a small measure of tactical restraint when navigating the entrees. For all the brilliance on display, it is best to gently bypass the steak frites for the time being, steering clear of the dish until the kitchen source a more premium quality of beef to match their otherwise flawless standards. But this minor detour is easily forgotten the moment you glance toward the pastry case. The desserts here are an absolute, transcendent poetry of sugar and butter, offering delicate tarts and airy confections that are nothing short of sublime. French Market remains a triumphant, essential neighborhood jewel, where the food is exceptional, the people are magnificent, and the conversation never stops flowing.
