There exchange is about $22.00 , which is still cheaper than Uhaul. The best deal around is ADK Fuel in Frankfort. A refill is $9.99 +tax. The savings is about $12.00. I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS A UHAUL AGAIN!!!!! Absolutely outrageous, and price gouging. I think I will contact the NYS ATTORNEY GENERAL.

Stored brand new furniture which i WRAPPED with heavy duty plastic wrap, along with clothes and other valuable belongings. Went to move my stuff out of the unit a few weeks ago in to my new place and everything was DESTROYED. Brand new furniture and clothing water damaged with rat feces everywhere. Absolutely disgusting. There were holes in the top of the unit (most likely from mold/rain/ animals chewing into the roof). I filed a claim but they only reimbursed me with the minimum amount which doesn't even cover my bed set which was destroyed. This place should be closed down & I will be reporting them to the BBB.

He said he would deliver and then when he didnt show up and I called he tried to say we said we would pick up. No way Im leaving a site where Im watching 12 guys to go pick up a trailer. I had 5 machines dropped off that day. Then he tried after he told us we had to drop it off back to them for the miscommunication after we were done that he was going to charge a $40 WASHING fee for a DUMP TRAILER that had some dirt in it. I do mean some. I have photos. He said we should have washed it before returning. I dont think I even have to go further into this because anyone who knows or rents equipment already know this is a joke. Lastly he tried to place additional charges on my credit card that I did not authorize saying we damaged the tow hitch. Impossible. There was no way due to the site we were working, the amount of times used, and how it was used that it could have happened. We actually have video of the days work we are editing to provide to our social media video about him and this interaction. Him trying to charge us for something we did not do and not even consider a joint resolution was so unprofessional I have never in my years of working with companies had such a negative interaction. Not only do I not recommend him or any of his businesses, I would say he is a criminal and I will warn everyone I ever work with etc about him.

My review is of my experience trying to get a trailer hitch for my Suburu. I called the store 2…read moreweeks prior and made an appt, they told me then it would be 3 hours for the hitch install. I was driving in from an hour away and arranged for a driver to drop me off and pick me up for a 3 hour period. When I dropped the car off I was also told it would take 3 hours. When I returned to the store after 3 hours, my car had not been touched. When I asked the manager of the store what the deal was, he said they hadn't gotten to it yet and didn't know when they would. He also said that the "3 hours" timeframe given was from the point the car was pulled from the lot into the garage, which at no point was communicated to me. How do you plan for that anyway? If that's the case he the store should say to leave the car for the day, which I would have planned for. I was told twice it would take 3 hours, so that's what I arranged for. When I asked if I left it until the next day to be done, would it get done, and he couldn't give me a definitive answer. I asked if someone would call me when it was done if I left it-since no one had called me in the 3 hours they had the car to let me know they couldn't get it done-and he got so mad he gave me my key back and said he wouldn't do the job. If this guy is the manager, it's tough times out there. Absolutely horrible customer service, no communication, and no effort to accommodate the customer. Take your business anyplace else, they don't deserve your money. And of course the manager had no problem giving me the regional managers number as well as president of company, who of course never returned my call.
