I rented an RV for February vacation 2021. This place was horrible! When I arrived they showed me…read morethe RV and it was filthy! It was covered in dirt and salt. When I asked why it wasn't cleaned I was told it was "too cold out and the water would freeze", however there was an entire car lot of used cars as well as other RV's that were shiny and clean. I had been told on the phone that I could leave my car at the parking lot while I was away and would need to pay a fee for the parking. When I arrived I was told that I had to pay cash for the parking. I had requested ahead that the RV be "unwinterized" so that I would have water and be able to use the bathroom. When I was picking up the RV I was told that I needed to fill the water tank myself. I told them I was leaving right from there and had no place to fill it up I was told to do it at the camp ground I was going to. However- NOT to use the bathroom in the RV unit I had water. Seriously?! This was February mind you. So I asked where the hose was to fill the tank, I was told they didn't have one and I could "ask to borrow one at the campground" WHAT?! This is what I was paying for? I arrived at the campground late that night, of course no one was around and I could not get a hose or water. This was my first time renting or using an RV mind you. I was filthy from just getting out the cord to plug in the RV it had so much filth on it. The rear view mirrors were not even useable until I cleaned them. My daughter and I were so miserable we called the company the next day and initially were greeted with significant sympathy and desire to fix things. Within a very short time that changed. I was treated rudely and disrespectfully. I asked to have my car keys left for me to get my car as I would be returning that day instead of keeping the RV for a week and they refused to leave my keys!!! I couldn't believe it. I was so dismayed by this I sent a complaint to the company and asked for my money back I never received a response. STAY AWAY they are thieves and terrible business people!!!!

No working fridge, no working door, no working television, half empty & leaking propane tank, the…read morelist goes on and on. I don't even know where to begin. Our friends rented from this place a few weeks ago & had such a bad experience with the camper having so many issues but we gave them a chance anyways because we have owed campers and know that sometimes things happen. The reviews were good & the RV itself looked nice from the photos... we were very naïve. We got to the rental place & no one there even knew what camper we were there to pick up I had to show them my reservation on the RVeazy app. The gentlemen then brought us over to the camper and did not initiate any inspection which is required when renting on Rveazy so I went ahead and did it myself. There was a very significant amount of physical damage to in exterior and interior of the camper but all in all it looked decent enough and we wanted to get back on the road. By the time we got to where we were going, set up & started the generator & propane we noticed quickly that the fridge and freezer were not getting cool whatsoever. We gave it over 2 hours and then I contacted Wendy to let her know that it was not working and we also realized that the camper door did not latch shut either. She told me nothing she could do until the morning when her mechanic could call us back. We therefore went from 5pm to 11am with nowhere to store our perishable goods. When her mechanic called us the next day he requested photos and videos of what was not working that we provided immediately to him & to Wendy. We kept as much as we could on ice in the coolers we brought it in but that could only do so much in 80 degree weather. So now we were out $100 worth of good, could not get the camper door to shut or stayed closed and when we thought things could not get more frustrating my daughter went to go sit at the kitchen area only to have her leg stabbed by a nail sticking out of the wood behind the kitchenette. After we saw what happened we looked at the wood to see DOZENS on nails and staples poking out and we were furious at this point. My husband went to check the generator and propane tank to just to realize that we had already gone through almost the entire propane tank in less than 20 hours which is absurd. We took it off and immediately could smell that it was leaking so we contacted the company again and they gave us the run around how the tank they gave us wasn't full because they just added it to our reservation for free which was false because there is an added $25 for propane on our rental agreement. We had to not only drive 40 in away from our camp site now to get food for us and our daughter but also to have to purchase a new propane tank. All all in this was a nightmare and the only thing that made it worse was Wendy the owner gaslighting me the entire time and basically saying we don't know how to use a camper and we should have kept our food in the cooler inside out car so it didn't go bad. Keep in mind, I made her aware of our food spoiling on Friday around 8pm, only 4 hours into our rental and she waited until Sunday when I requested money back for the propane she charged us for that was leaking, the propane we had to go out and buy and for some of our food that went to waste due to her fridge & freezer not working and her response to me was atrocious. She DEMANDED I send her photos of our food in trash bags that we had to throw out, and to send proof to her of the injury to my daughters leg. She also said "well from the photos and videos you sent on Saturday of the fridge not working and blinking there was not much food in the fridge to begin with.".... YEAH BECAUSE IT ALL WENT BAD AND WAS IN THE GARBAGE! She is a diabolic and dishonest person to say the least & I am writing this obnoxiously long review to WARN ANYONE thinking of renting from this company or from Wendy on RVeazy in Walden NY to stay away and please save yourself a huge headache and a lot of money.

I don't often write yelp reviews, but something happened today that doesn't often happen, either…read more Camper's Barn (or Camping World) in Kingston proved there are amazing professionals out there who care for their customers. Chris Alfonso and Jim (sorry, didn't get a last name) are incredibly professional and helpful people. The Kingston CW came through for us, providing the fastest and most capable resolution I could imagine, taking the time to explain every detail of the repair they did, and going the extra mile (or hundreds of miles) to offer assistance with the original problem (which happened at a different store completely). In a very stressful situation, Chris and Jim not only fixed things, but left us feeling like we can count on the Kingston service department for literally any problem that might come up. I cannot emphasize enough the quality of service and technical ability they showed -- both these guys know their RVs (and mine, too, probably a little more than they'd like to!). If ANYONE needs RV service anywhere near Kingston, you can trust them. I've worked with a lot of people, both as their managers and as their colleagues, and I don't think I can remember two guys who do a better job for their company. Chris's cool demeanor and professional attitude make him a true manager, and I can say what started out as a difficult morning turned into a more than pleasant afternoon, due to Jim's taking the time to chat about old RVs and his experience with them. He's a MOPAR man through and through, and it's clear he cares about the machines his guys work on. I am so thankful to have met these guys -- there are few total pros out there who will work as hard as these guys to right a situation. And there are few guys as smart, too, who know what they're doing. So thank you, Chis Alfonso, and you, too, Jim -- I will send other RVers to you with exactly the same enthusiasm that I have writing this.
