Very disappointing and unprofessional experience. My daughter made a confirmed hotel reservation through this company a couple of months ago, and they cancelled it without any notice the same day that she was supposed to stay there. I personally called to find out what happened, but it was almost impossible to reach anyone. I called countless times -- sometimes they would just let the phone ring endlessly, other times they would answer and hang up right away. When I finally managed to speak to someone, they put me on hold for more than 25 minutes. The representative who eventually answered couldn't give me a clear explanation or offer any kind of solution. They simply said the offer had sold out, even though we had already received a confirmed booking. The company is completely unreliable, and their customer service is disastrous -- practically nonexistent. The lack of communication, empathy, and professionalism is unacceptable. I would strongly recommend avoiding this company and booking elsewhere. I'm giving one star only because it's not possible to leave a review with zero. read more

It appears, Price Travel does business with fraudulent 3rd party companies. They would not divulge the name of the fraudulent company not assist in contacting them. I am not even sure this supposed "other company" exists. It might be simply Price Travel that is the defrauder. You only need to look at the litany of people who have similar stories. My reservation at an IHG property in Dallas, Texas was defrauded by a spoofed website that mirrored IHG, even though I though I was quite careful in ensuring it was the hotel's direct website. This fraudulent company funneled my payment and reservation through Price Travel of approximately $650. in May 2025. I received no confirmation of my reservation and it wasn't until today, 10 October 2025 that I found out, unbeknownst to me, that my reservation had been cancelled on 22 July 2025. No explanation or refund has been received as of today. After being transferred twice, I has an inferior telephone connection with a man that would not reveal his name, who said that funds were refunded to this supposed "other company" when the reservation was cancelled and that I would need to contact the "other company" for my funds, which of course he wouldn't name. I will go to my bank tomorrow to file a report of suspected fraud and will absolutely include Price Travel in the report. Then they call hotels to confirm the booking they made for you through Expedia and try to lie to the hotel and say they are you trying to get information that you may have shared directly with the hotel and do not want known! About a month ago I made a reservation for a hotel in Franklin, TN. I had an event in the area and needed a room for one night. I was more interested in price than being in a particular hotel, so I did not pay attention to what hotel I booked. I immediately got a confirmation with the hotel details. Last Friday we showed up at that hotel, navigating there by clicking on the address in the email. The desk clerk did not have a reservation for us, so we called PriceTravel customer service. They had me jump through several hoops, but to no avail. They called the hotel chain's reservations office to no avail. After 17 minutes of no progress I told the customer service rep that I wanted to cancel the reservation and they should refund my payment. They said no. I told them they had 5 more minutes to resolve this or I would contact my credit card company to reverse the charges. After 5 minutes I did start the process to reverse the charges. This process too about 10 minutes to complete. All this time I was on hold with PriceTravel, listening to a repetitive and annoying hold message. Upon completion I hung up. As I was checking into the hotel I was supposed to have a room (and paying full rack price, well above the PriceTravel price) I received a call back from PriceTravel customer service. The rep told me that they had figured out what happened. They made a reservation at one hotel, but sent me a confirmation for a different hotel. He wanted me to trust that they figured it out, leave the hotel where we were and go to the hotel they said they actually made a reservation at. This is a scam/fraudulent company. I have made multiple attempts to book a hotel stay but my reservation attempts would automatically be "cancelled" and the charges would go through as pending. As you can see from the images, I tried multiple times with "cancelled" bookings. This was because my thoughts were I was messing up... such as entering my credit card info wrong, etc. Keep in mind, these cancelled bookings can be located in the PriceTravel app. My very first attempt at booking a hotel stay (which I obtained a link for while searching Trivago.com) was denied because my credit company registered it as fraud but I did not know that immediately. So, before I recognized any of my attempts as fraud, I tried again, and then again with further believing there was something wrong with the card I was using so I tried using different credit cards. The subsequent cards I used are currently still in a "pending hold" for hotel bookings that were either automatically cancelled or do not exist. The last attempt at booking my stay with PriceTravel, I believed I was successful at finally getting through and confirming the reservation... but then I never received a confirmation email. Luckily, I screen capped the booking locator once I thought I succeeded but when trying to locate the booking using the "booking locator" and my email, via the PriceTravel app on iPhone, it was not found. Point is, this company now has my information and multiple made attempts to charge my cards. PriceTravel either cancelled (assuming due to my credit companies declining the charges) and for the one successful charge, I never received an email of the reservation confirmation and also unable to locate it using the search feature in the app. To further support that it is fraud, I called the hotel I tried to book directly for the "successful booking" and they had no information of my name or any booking under my name. I booked a Staybridge Suites stay through PriceTravel (by mistake) SEP 29, 2025 for 8-13 OCT, 2025, with a young man, Jonathan. My email confirmation indicated the reservation for only 8-10 OCT. The rep never indicated that he worked for a 3rd party (PriceTravel) and even stated that he could help me use my IHG points for the other 3 days (10-13 OCT). The same day, SEP 29, I decided to contact the hotel directly to confirm my upcoming reservation status. Staybridge confirmed only the 8-10 OCT reservation. There was no mention of the 8-13 OCT reservation. At that point, I reserved my stay with Staybridge for 8-13 OCT. During the PriceTravel conversation the rep, Jonathan added a Refund Protection Plan for $25.77. Given that I had to reserve the stay that I wanted and needed with Staybridge, my original reservation with PriceTravel, was cancelled by PriceTravel. When I called PriceTravel the same day, SEP 29, I was told by the rep (young man, Ray) that he would request a non-fee refund for me concerning the initial reservation with Jonathan. Jonathan didn't do what he told me that he would do and Ray apologized for Jonathan's very poor customer service. On SEP 29, PriceTravel charged me $264.26 (2x nights) plus $25.77 (refund protection plan) for a total of $290.03. The same day, SEP 29, PriceTravel refunded me $132.13 and not the $264.26, for which I purchased the refund protection plan. Seems like the refund protection plans are NOT being sold for the clients' benefit or protection. PriceTravel was founded in Cancun, MEX in the year 2000 (per the internet). I didn't know that until today. Because of that, it would probably be hard to get resolution with customer service complaints from the US. I had no experience with PriceTravel previously, but I know other tourist/travel services in MEX (Viva Aerobus, Volaris, etc.) and I warn my fellow tourists/travelers; be aware. PriceTravel is clearly in business for themselves and not the paying clients. In the same day, I couldn't get my money (refund) after buying the refund protection plan for that very same reason. This is a scam. They book you a room with a confirmation # but they don't actually book the room with the hotel. When you arrive, you end up calling their customer service number. They blame it on the hotel, say they are sorry, and then try to book you somewhere else at double the price or worse. We booked a hotel room for 4 in Manhattan and about a week before we are scheduled to travel we could not find the reservation with the booking number we got. We called and they said that they canceled the reservation the same day it was booked but couldn't explain why or who did it. We didn't cancel it and there was no email or effort to contact us about the cancelation.. They were completely unhelpful to us so we now have to find somewhere else so soon to the date which is really expensive. I hadn't received a receipt for my purchase and only had the booking reservation confirmation so I started to worry the night before my stay, especially after seeing so many negative reviews here. I called the hotel and the clerk verified my reservation and the prepayment and even waived the destination charge for me. Perhaps there are some problems, however, I believe in giving good reviews when they are deserved. This place is a complete fraud. I tried to cancel my reservation which is in line with their refund policy but good luck trying to get in contact with them via phone. They supposedly have a customer service line but it's disconnected and no longer in service. The only way is through email and they try to tell you they don't have a refund policy which is a complete lie! I emailed them the same day on 2/24 which was eligible to be cancelled. Company takes fake reservations rhat do NOT carry through with the actual hotel. Made a reservation on Disney Pop Century and called to make sure everything was clear. I was answered by Allan who said everything was correct and set, I just had to call again during normal Disney business hours to get Disney reservation so I could link it to my Disney account. The following day I call and they send me to the pricetravel Disney department. Laura picks up the phone and shares that the reservation didnt go through and they could issue a refund or try to rebook me somewhere else (this is the day kf the reservation mind you). I agree to the rebooking pay rhe difference and proceed to drive to the new hotel, pay the difference and by the time I arrived Laura tells me they can't confirm the reservation for an intermitency in their system showing improper availability. I made a hotel reservation through PriceTravel, they sent me a confirmation number, and I thought I was all set. The next day I get this email from them: Hello , In order to protect our customers from the wrong use of their credit cards, and to avoid identity thefts, we need you to send us the following documentation to: verificacion@priceres.com - Legal and valid ID of the cardholder (passport or Mexican IFE, color copies of both sides). - The credit card used to make the reservation (color copies of both sides). - Our Authorization Form that you will find attached, which needs to be hand-filled by the cardholder, including his or her name and signature. We are requesting this in order to process locator , under the name of  XXX XXXXX  , for the amount of $ 1,718.64 USD, with the credit card ending in VISA *XXXX . You can also send the information as a photo or picture (using your cell phone or camera). I called the hotel today in preparation for my upcoming trip. They did not have any reservation under my name. I emailed them: No response. This is a total scam company. Last November, my girlfriend booked a non-stop flight from Sacramento to Vegas and hotel reservations at The Venetian Hotel. In December, she was told that her flight to Vegas would be re-routed to a stop in Denver. she immediately indicated that she wanted to cancel her reservations and contacted her credit card company to dispute any charges from Price Travel. Would put zero stars, if possible. Made a reservation. Their site said the transaction did not go through. I received a whatsapp message saying the same. I was on the road and thought maybe the signal was the issue, so I tried again. Again, I received the error on their site and the whatsapp message saying the transaction did not go through. I tried one more time with a different card as my bank had sent a verification text and thought that was the issue. This time the transaction went through successfully. When I opened my email, I saw that there were three transactions. Upon calling customer service, they admitted their issue but had to clear the return with the resort before they would refund me, even though they admitted their system was the issue. Several hours later I received a call stating that the resort had approved the return, but I would not receive my refund for 25-30 business days. I still have yet to receive an email confirmation of this. I will be calling my bank and reporting the transactions as fraud. When I checked my credit card statement today, I can see that the money was refunded. I submitted a cancellation request via email (as permitted on the PriceTravel website) within the timeframe allowed to get a full refund and it was denied. I should also mentioned that I called prior to sending an email but could not get through to Customer Service nor was I able to leave a message. After calling three times and being on hold for 15 minutes, I got no where but to have my case reopen.
