Summary = DO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY! We worked with Alon during the pandemic on a home remodel of our kitchen, 2 baths, plumbing and electrical improvements, and paint. Alon was friendly and nice and the work was eventually completed after a roller coaster of a process that took 6 months. I had been sitting on this review after living with the remodel for over a year. I finally decided to post this review due to some recent upsetting discoveries. I hire a general contractor to manage coordination with sub contractors and to check on their quality. There were issues with both management and quality! Minor consolidation was that they at least finished. On the management side, they subcontracted the structural work, plumbing, and electrical. Something happened with the plumbing/structural contractor part way through and was replaced and we were warned not to engage with them if they come to me for payment (strange). Then they fired a sub contractor to the electrical sub contractor (who damaged a lot of the new electrical wires). They had a payment dispute with the electrical subcontractor, who later tried to put a lein on my home. To their credit, they did take care of it. Quality and attention to detail was not great. After dry wall and paint, I found lots of little divots in the wall because of poor patch work. Paint kept on peeling off the repainted doors and required several repairs. After several rounds of getting them to come back to fix things, we got gave up. A part was not installed correctly on our new pocket doors; instead of taking off the trim and installing things correctly, they installed an ugly fix on top of the trim. I was looking around the attic recently and was shocked to find hidden issues. Many of the electric wires that they fixed with twisted wires and electrical tape not enclosed in boxes. Some electrical boxes were not attached. Some nuturals were twisted together without a wire nut and it got loose at some point causing open nuturals and broken outlets. None of my my bathroom vents were connected even though I explicitly asked before it they can double check. The vent duct work was laying next to the fan. One of the fan duct flaps still had the factory stickers to remind the installer to remove before installing the duct! I will not trust them ever again. read more

We had water damage following a malfunction with our hot war heater. Alon came out and gave us a quote, and helped us work with the insurance company to get the full value for our home. He gave us a reasonable price and a fair timeline based on the scope of work. Replacing our living room dining room, staircase and 2nd floor hallway with wood, along with replacing the damaged drywall on the ceilings and wall. Along the way, Alon was amazing. He provided updates every Monday morning of the work being done for the week, and let us know id any changes along the way. I cannot emphasize enough how much he put us at ease in a situation that truly wrecked our home, and stressed us out tremendously. As you can see from the photos they did an amazing job. I honestly cannot imagine what our house would be if we hadn't found Pride Construction. We had TWO awful and independent water leaks last year. The first required us to move out, rip all the floors out, put in new floors, remodel a bathroom and repaint the interior. Pride made this SO much easier than it could have been. They were on our side every step of the way, dealing with other contractors like plumbers, dealing with insurance, helping us pick out materials, etc. The fact that they dealt with insurance was such a huge help for us. HUGE. Aside from all that... every single person in the crew is AWESOME. Kind, thoughtful and courteous. The work they do is beautiful. It was very clear on every step of the progress that they cared about their own work. It shows. So when our second leak happened? Yep - no hesitation, we know exactly who to call! I, personally, did not have Alon and his crew work on my house, but I had a front row seat to the awesome job they did in helping my young son rebuild his condo after a major water leak. I highly recommend Pride Construction and Remodeling for your next project. Really! I had PCR remodel my entire home after a horrible and unexpected flood. A tall task, especially for a townhouse that had been remodeled not even three years before with many mistakes. With Pride, The process was simple right from the start. We sat down to design the remodel, from interior space that worked before anything happened to the patio. I then was shocked to see that once approved & ready there was a detailed production schedule that was meticulously detailed down to the week, day & hour. This schedule allowed me to see who and when certain tasks would be finished, which let me schedule my life around their milestones, truly awesome. Their craftsmen were beyond professional and respectful to my home. From laying down flooring covering current, vacuuming after every day & so much more. Materials such as micro cement, which is very difficult to find, to high end tile, all was executed to perfection. While things were rolling the project flew, working together discussing everything from choosing the right tile, flooring & materials. The build was planned & finished with a master craftsman touch. I never worried about the final product because the ease they set up ahead of time was text book. I am beyond thankful that I called Alon and his team to master this monster project. Tomorrow, the project manager is meeting me at my mother's house. She has a project for them now. We will be far away at our new house while her's is underway. She is in good hands. Pride will get it done and I trust them with my own mother.Can you say that about your contractor? If you can't, you should call Pride And her is why: The first time I used Prime Construction I noticed they are not your typical contractor at all. They show up on day one when when they are scheduled and they keep showing up . My insurance worked with them easily as well. You are assigned a project manager throughout your contracted job. If there are questions, you can call or text your project manager and they respond usually within 15 minutes if you do not get them live when you call. My experience the first time was such a good one, that I saved them in my phone, "just in case "I ever needed any work done. My project manager went through with me some items that i wanted to get done but had other pressing projects that needed to be addressed first. Several months later my Ex had the same thing happen at his garage/house, he didn't listen to me and his project took over 120 days. Mine was done in less than a month with Pride. Well, good thing i saved that number in my phone "Just in case", because the urgent need arose when i saw a house online and we went to see it. I had a very tall order to say the least. I would need to sell this house to buy that house. This house though, was nowhere near ready to show. I called his cell phone at nearly 9 PM and spoke to my project manager and he said he could be here the day after tomorrow. I got a call from his associate the next day that there had been an urgent family matter he was having to attend to, but not to worry, there would still be a project manager coming out to me at the expected time. My time sensitive job did not fall to the way side. I was never brushed off like with other contractors. We went through what I needed, and I later added some things, but nothing was ever a problem. They used high quality fixtures in my bid that were name brands. They worked with my budget and my time line to get the look I was after. I remember telling Alon how I wanted new cabinets but the time constraints were such that I needed another option. He opened my cupboard and said do not spend that money on refacing, we can get you new real wood cabinets that are semi custom in less than 2 weeks, and installed for that price. if you want, you will have time for quartz counters too. Ummmm yes please!!!! I think I actually teared up because I felt like our new house may actually happen for us. There were a couple weekends, if not all of them, somebody worked on Saturdays. (Saturdays are optional for their crew.) I asked them how soon they could start if i moved everything out? He said Tuesday. Monday, I had the movers come and pack up and move 90% of our house, so Pride could work. I don't even remember how that happened- that's how fast it was. They remodeled my kitchen, my bathroom, replaced the entire downstairs flooring and upstairs flooring. They painted the whole house . What sealed the deal for me is that my project manger really actively believed in my goal, and it showed. It is because of Pride we are able to get our dream home, on both ends. The project at hand was a time sensitive one. We needed to sell our current home, but it needed updating to put it on the market. The house we wanted to buy was larger and more money, but in a slower market, but it was already listed. We needed to get work done here so we could make an offer before it was sold. The project manager understood the assignment. He grasped what I needed and why . Pride coordinated and worked and finished the job 2 weeks early. The extra two weeks shaved off our timeline allowed us to get photos done and list our house. It came out beautiful -and if I was staying here, it would of been what I always dreamed it could be. It sold in just 5 days. It went from just listed to "hot home" on Redfin overnight. It was just incredible. We made an offer on that house we wanted, and it was accepted. Alon helped me get top dollar for the house we needed to sell and did the job so well and so fast we managed to close the deal on the house we wanted before any other offers were made. I wish I had broken down and called them years ago . I lived with such a dated kitchen and bathroom for way too long. Now somebody else gets to live in my vision for my house. Do yourself a favor and call Pride so you can have a new bath or kitchen and have time to enjoy it before you sell it. I would never send anyone someplace, I wouldn't send my own mother. read more

Pride Construction is the best! I would strongly recommend choosing Pride as a general contractor, especially for insurance claims. I was faced with a nightmare situation this year after a pipe burst in my wall and flooded my condo. Alon came out just a few days after a call to give me a quote for the scope of work, which was where I got my first glimpse of the high caliber of work that Pride Construction does. First of all, Alon couldn't be any friendlier of a gentlemen to work with. We chatted the whole time he was taking his measurements. Second, no other contractor that I had come by did as detailed of a quote as Alon. He took precise measurements of every room and put together an itemized quotation with detailed drawings, which helped immensely down the road when dealing with insurance. Alon even took samples of the damaged materials in my home to have a 3rd party lab assess the replacement value. Afterwards, Alon spent months with me negotiating between two different insurance carriers to ensure I received everything I deserved from my claim. He went out of his way to schedule multiple phone calls and in-person meetings with the adjusters to fight on my behalf. Once the claim was settled the fun could begin -- remodeling. I was floored when Alon brought out a kitchen designer to my place to make a full 3D model of my kitchen. I was able to pick from a wide range of material samples for counter tops and cabinets and see a live render of what it would look like. It was really an incredible experience, and it made me all the more excited to see the final product. Alon then sent me to a beautiful showroom to pick out floors. There I was able to see what each floor sample would look like under different spectrums of light, which allowed me to get a good sense of what it would look like installed. With materials picked out the work began! Alon's crew is filled with highly skilled, top notch people. I occasionally visited the site and got to meet several members who were all so friendly. Alon pushed to complete the project ahead of schedule because he knew how long I had lived in alternate living arrangements throughout the claim process. Thanks to him and his crew I was able to move back in one week ahead of schedule, and the finished result was incredible! Pride Construction went above and beyond to transform my home. They use high quality materials, such as solid wood cabinets, to make sure everything didn't just look good but it will stand the test of time. Their tiling work is stunning and shows off the craftsmanship that Alon's crew has. Every last detail of the remodel was perfect, and all ahead of schedule! Pride did a fantastic job on our remodel. We had water damage and lost our entire kitchen and downstairs flooring. After the restoration folks had torn everything out we partnered with Pride to do the rebuild. Could not be happier. This is a family owned and operated business and they're a pleasure to work with. Alon is extremely detail oriented, friendly, and professional. They do top-notch work, everything is buttoned up in terms of licensing and insurance, the workers are great, and the few times we had any issues or requests they took the feedback well and made the changes required. I've already recommended them to several friends and would have no hesitation to hire them for future projects. We added a few additional changes on top of what insurance approved for the rebuild, and the out of pocket prices for the change order were absolutely fair and reasonable. I could not be happier that we chose Pride for our home repair after a pipe burst in our upstairs bathroom.
