Creamy truffle taste coupled with sausage was the best dish of the day. Spicy pepperoni pizza was the best of the two pizzas. Clearly fresh and good flavour. Pizza dough was nice and thin. Pizza Bianca was a miss for us. The soft texture of the potato on top of the pizza was very strange to us and made the entire pizza feel weird. Overall, a repeatable solid Mississauga Italian place. The grilled calamari was interesting with the char, but the red bell pepper on the side tasted on the acidic/sour side, and could use more sweetness. The linguini was cooked well but didn't have the al dente texture of freshly made pasta and again, the tomato sauce tasted too watery and lacked the sweetness and tartness and there was no white wine taste. Service: The server was friendly and generally out of the way, but had trouble understanding us at times. There were a couple of us who were vegetarian and he had trouble hearing, and suggested pizzas with meat on them to the vegetarians, and so we had to repeat ourselves several times for him to understand. It's open concept with big windows. It's airy, with gorgeous art deco furnitures. It's a fantastic place for a first date, or a special occasion. Second, the service is top-notch. From the welcome staff to the knowledgable, and super friendly wait staff. Third, the food is delicious. The salmon Crudo was excellent. The veggie pizza was excellent. The prime rib Sunday roast special was fantastic (especially the wonderful Yorkshire budding). The marinara sauce for the pasta was some of the best in recent memory. However, there were two glaring slip-up from the kitchen. The oyster mushrooms for the oyster mushroom salad were cooked to death in a strange batter.
