No real complaints except they can't do x rays. My kid got a needle stuck and they couldn't find it so to the ER we went. The staff was polite enough and the place clean but I should have known up front that they were limited with what they could perform. They didn't have issue taking my $100.00 up front. Worst customer service experience ever! Arrived at 7:55 and got out of my car to wait in line at the door by 7:59. The receptionist was walking around inside but wouldn't open the doors at 8am (when this location opens). Waited outside in the cold for 10 minutes before the receptionist came to say they are not open because they are having technical issues. Instead of allowing the people who had been waiting in the cold inside, the receptionist left everyone outside and proceeded to go back to her desk and talk and laugh with the other receptionist sitting there. When we were finally allowed to come in by 8:20, the receptionist was extremely rude. She refused to check us in. Last week, the receptionist was over an hour late for work as well. If I could give this place zero stars I would. My daughter had a severe rash from the top of her head all the way down her legs. The doctor from across the room said it was an allergic reaction. Tried, unsuccessfully, to explain it developed over a week. No allergic reaction takes a week. Ended up going to another doctor who said confirmed...not allergic reaction...something more serious. Do not use this office unless you want to die from the actual illness. The doctor would not listen and didn't even listen to anything I said. My daughter was in extreme pain by the time she was actually diagnosed. Veterinarians have more compassion then this place. You might get better care. read more

We have been waiting since Sunday and today is Friday for someone to call and explain the blood work which I know they have received. My wife still has a bad rash and is itching her skin off. Only call we received was to say the doctor is not giving her more itch medicine. That was Tuesday. So my wife has been miserable awaiting for someone to call. She isn't emergency room sick and someone calling telling us the results is reasonable. So while typing this they finally called. They need more blood work. So that means it would take another 6 days of being miserable. The doctor still will not fill any itch medicine. Poor communication. If you have a cold they might help you. Not certain. If anything above a cold you need to go elsewhere as they will not help you. read more

The term "Urgent" should not be in the name of the business...gives a false sense that you will be seen quickly. Google needs to come up with a new star rating system for places like this...negative stars or black holes. This place defies the laws of physics by sucking and blowing at the same time. I was sent to this medical hobby shop for X-Rays for my VA disability assessment. I had an appointment for 10am. I arrived early to take care of any required paperwork and that is when time stood still. The space/time continuum must work differently once your are in the waiting room. I sat for an hour and a half, watched the waiting room fill up and empty out...TWICE. I finally had enough and asked the girl at the front desk if I was going to be seen sometime today due to the fact that I had been sitting for over and hour and half. She said that she would check on it. She came back a few minutes later and said that someone would be with my in a couple of minutes. My interpretation of a couple of minutes and hers must have been different, because 30 minutes later as I was getting ready to question her again, finally a person from the back called my name. No explanation for the delay or "sorry for the wait" just a cold, what are you here for? As I was going into the back room, I saw other patients peaking out of their respective holding cells like it was a Russian Gulag, looking for their provider. The actual appointment only lasted 15 - 20 minutes. I find it amazing that medical personnel harp on you about showing up at least a few minutes early and make sure that you are not late for the appointment but the Doc, RN, NP or whatever can be later and not just a few minutes but measured in hours. Bottom line is if you can go somewhere else, go. I can not recommend this facility at all. read more

The wait times can sometimes be long, so make an appointment if you can. Walk-ins are of course always welcome. They just transitioned to a new tablet based check in for your medical and personal information. I think it's quite the improvement from the older paper forms with the clipboard. There is a TV in the waiting area. While there did not appear to be any doctors there today, the nurse practitioner I met with for my physical was very helpful and helped to get all the information she could give me today to help avoid me having to come back unnecessarily. She was good with helping to answer my questions and with explaining my results to me. In the past, I have had issues with them not calling me with test results when they wanted me to change my dosage for medication. So it might be a good idea to follow up yourself just to be safe. read more

If I could give 0 stars, this would be the time. I am so frustrated with their covid testing system. Scheduled an appointment for 2:00 and an hour and a half later was still not seen. Called them to see what was taking so long only to find out it's because walk-ins were taking precedent over my scheduled appointment. I get that appointment rates are high during the beginning of a New Year, but why promote a "scheduled appointment" if you will not remain true or respect the time of those who registered in advance. I've been sitting in waiting room for a total of (3 1/2) hours. One place I've thought take x-rays because it mentions on website but was told we don't take X-rays mind you I've been here for 2 hours and the other location 1 hour 1/2. It was suppose to be a transfer but I waited to a point there's know one in front of me so I walk to the front desk and ask, ma'am how much longer to I be seen one desk clerk I've heard saying oh $&@$ I totally forgot and head back in rear part of office to get the tech I believe and then I was called. Staff is horrible, horrible I mean. You have one on the phone not with patient but on personal call, you can literally hear whole conversation totally unprofessional. Absolutely terrible staff, inept and racist! Dealt with an older immigrant lady from our family by shouting at her, refusing to listen to her, not dealing well with the issue, made her break down in tears. When her young daughter tried to help the staff shouted at her, asked her to leave, and called the cops. The cops were confused about having been called when the situation absolutely did not warrant it. PUC really needs to do better. read more

Staff is unprofessional, rude, they are disorganized, nobody seems to actually know their jobs, and on top of it when you tell them exactly what you need to be seen for they tell you that yes they can do that get you in the room after waiting for 40min after your appointment time, and then tell you about a "office policy for a hidden fee" that not one single person explained to me about prior to me going to the appointment or while at the previous one discussing about the next one. I went here today for a sinus infection. I had the classic symptoms of a sinus infection. As they call me back they asked me if I wanted a covid and flu test, I replied no, I could not use my insurance today since I haven't gotten my cards yet in the mail yet. So the cost was out of pocket for now. Well, against my will. The docotor ordered those test anyway and pretty much said that's the only way I will be seen. After one hour the test came back negative. The doctor just stands there and says and I quote "since your test are negative we will now treat you for an upper respiratory infection. Where do you want me to send your medication." So a $130 dollar added to the $100 dollars co pay since I didn't have my insurance cards I was discharged. read more

Zero stars. After waiting for close to 4 hours with an injured finger (I get it, they were busy) I was treated so incredibly rude by the entire medical staff. The man who took my xrays was dismissive and rude, to the point that he chuckled at me. After my x-rays, I waited 45 minutes for the doctor to come in and see me (now I've been there 5hours). With a sigh he started, why are you here? He had no interest in what was wrong or how he could help me. He told me everything was fine to just go home nothing to worry about. I asked for a better splint than my home made one. He looked my dead in the eye and said, you are fine. Five days later, I received a phone call saying that the x-ray was actually miss read and my finger was indeed broken and I needed surgery. They suggested I come in immediately for a second consultation. I called them back and told them I would rather go to a real doctor elsewhere. Now months later, I'm receiving a bill for this service that says it's past due. I paid my co-pay the day I was there and never received any follow up bills. I have no past due balance. Shady billing practices is on top of their terrible service. Stay far away from this place. There are a couple other really good urgent cares down on Plank Road. Go elsewhere read more

I was initially given an 1 1/2 hour estimate for my wait time. 2 1/2 hours in I called to ask for a wait time update only to be told that they couldn't give one. Best they could give was the wait could be "anywhere from 10 minutes to an hour". Don't come here unless you're prepared to wait the whole day to be seen. Firstly, you will be met with a complete bankruptcy of customer service, followed by a profoundly interminable wait, long enough for glaciers to melt or to grow a beard. First off, the receptionist took over 30 minutes to input my insurance information. My husband walked up the counter asking if there was an issue, she said she was still working on it. So everyone that came in after we did were seen and we just waited. The nurse practitioner barely looked at and walked out. I usually don't leave reviews but my experience at this facility was just awful. If you're looking to get a COVID-19 test I would not recommend this facility. My appointment was at 2, I had to go into the building twice because I was left on hold for over 30 min both times i called. They should not advertise curbside testing if I have to go in and out of the building just to get a hold of someone. (Good thing i wasn't positive!) I finally got tested around 3:45. I was also advised that I would be called with my results in 30-45 min and had to call myself after waiting almost two hours, mine you the staff was still extremely rude over the phone. I know everyone is trying to do their best right now with COVID-19 but the customer service at this facility was very disappointing and I will not be returning. read more

No stars for this location! I went here today for chest pains and in between my shoulder blades pain. I have had COVID within the last month and I knew that the cough I had was probably the reason for this but you can never be to safe. I was told it would be a hour until I would be seen - but the time was a lot less then that. I was able to get checked in quickly and then went to have my vitals done and the nurse there was not friendly whatsoever although I tried to make conversation. After that I was put in the exam room and remind you I was checked in at 9 AM - 9:37 came and no one had come into my room. My mom that was with me - walked out to simply see where the doctor was and if I would be seen soon. The nurse that took my vitals said very rudely he's with another patient you will have to wait. 9:42 came and then the doctor came in. First his student he was training walked in and was getting signed in and then he walked in. His name was Dr. Ansari MD/KP. He starts asking me what's wrong so I tell him only for him to then look at me and say well who are you. So then I stated my information and then he started using words I knew nothing about and didn't take the time to basically spell it out for me. My mom then got frustrated because he wouldn't explain and then he told me well just go follow up with your family physician. Needless to say I will NEVER go back to this location. The front staff was ok and the facility is somewhat nice but the service I received today was very poor. I will make the drive to Culpeper whenever I need to be seen. read more

Do not go to this location if you want to feel cared for! Dr. Ansari is awful at his job. He dropped the needle and thread in the middle of giving me stitches, prescribed me some new medicine similar to 800 mg ibuprofen and gave me a 'coupon' that would allow me to get the medicine for free. Coupon was phony, and the cost of the medicine without it was $789! The pharmacy tech. said this was a new drug, and he was more than likely visited by a drug representative which is why he prescribed that specific medicine. Dr. Ansari tried to make personal decisions for me about my insurance. He is terrible and money hungry! read more

Please don't visit this urgent care! I took my 10 year old daughter in as she was having severe stomach issues, lethargic, and had a fever that would not go away even when taking Tylenol. I was asked to come back and her vitals were taken, we were sent in a room and was met by a PA that asked me what I though was wrong with her, after giving her symptoms and telling her what I though may be the issue she instantly put a prescription on foe the issue I said and told me that she will treat it as the issue I have stated and will take test but she can take the antibiotics (4 of them) in the mean while. I asked her if they can do a full blood panel and urine test because I was not sure if exactly was wrong with my daughter, she then said if that's what you want to do. I asked her what she was prescribing and she was unsure, I watched her look up meds to treat the issue I thought it was. Finally she asked my daughter to lay back and she pressed her stomach and touched for swollen lymph nodes as well as looked in her ear and nose. After that 10 sec examination she took us to the back and asked the gentleman did he want to take my daughters blood or if he wanted her to do it, I should have walked out then as she was so unsure of herself. After poking my daughter four times and several (3 times) requests from me to take her blood from her hand the PA was Interrupted by an actual doctor who then did what I requested and was successful at his first attempt to draw blood. The PA was all over the place and was dropping stuff on the ground she was timid and soft spoken. She just kept apologizing. To top it off the meds that she prescribed were sent to the wrong pharmacy and when I called back the next day the person who answered the phone by the name of Dena was rude and wouldn't shut her mouth long enough for me to explain what happened. I just don't understand how she was even allowed to see patients! I will NEVER go back to this urgent care and if you read this you should never go either! read more

Don't walk in. Ok, I understand the medical world is full of ups and downs, that wait times may vary etc...But, considering this place doesn't do same day appointments is inconvenient, but even that I can sorta understand. The check in process? Easy as cake. The nursing stagf? Quick and efficient. I was in a waiting room in no time!.....then 4 other people get weighed, checked and put in the waiting rooms around me. Then, they get seen before me because they have appointments. And they only have 1 doctor on staff. Primary AND Urgent care. Granted, I'm not currently dying, but what if I was? Then, to top it off, that ONE doctor had an unknown emergency and had to leave. That's fine, I hope everything is ok, but the nursing staff runs around telling the appointment people that the doctor had to leave....I've been waiting for an hour. All the special appointment people got seen, and apologized to. The new doctor comes 20 minutes later, and STILL sees the other patients first, when it has been close to 2 hours. At least she was kind enough to apologize to me, even though the others left me for last. Then, I was cut off when I was telling my new symptoms and told I WOULD not be helped since I was not diagnosed here. I was erased from the system and sent on my way. Don't trust them with your life. Great quality on the spot care! Low cost and easy to see them as they generally do not require any appointments to be seen. Dr. Ansari is our family doctor and has been there for me as my primary care physician. He and his staff have always been there for me as I am a totally disabled veteran. Dr. Ansari provides a great service to our community at all socioeconomic levels. Dr. Ansari helped cure my pneumonia in 2014 where I had to be hospitalized and for that I will always be grateful to him, Dr. Ahmad and Nurse Practitioner Riazi. read more

Went to this place today. When we walk in a patient was asking why she had to pay so much. The receptionist was looking at the computer screen and said she did not know she had to talk to someone else. Then when our turn came she was not to friendly. Kept looking at the computer screen, while asking can I help you, terrible customer service skills. My wife filled out the paper work and when she returned it, with insurance card blue cross and blue shield. The lady says if I can't verify the insurance you will have to pay full amount for visit. She was still looking at the computer screen and my wife ask her was she talking to her. Mine you my wife is stand right in front of her. She could not verify in computer so we told her, we would go to another emergency center. I can't believe these doctors hire these people to be the first person patients see when they come in their practice. She acted like she was paying us to come there. People forget who pays their salary. I would not recommend this place, you are better off going to nextcare across from Homedepot on plank rd great service.
