I've ordered bins from Junk King maybe half a dozen times over the past 5+ years. We get one almost…read moreevery year. I like the convenience of being able to order my bin online because it's a big time saver. Most of the time we've just disposed of standard waste (old wood, general recyclables, drywall, metal fencing, small pieces of junky furniture, etc.). A few times we have included yard waste and a small amount of e-waste. I've never had an issue with anything being rejected. I believe the fine print says that if you have any non-standard items they'll bill a surcharge to manage it. Sometimes I'm surprised at the high price I end up being billed, but it's a risk I take considering they don't inventory everything ahead of time. Not sure that is entirely possible anyway. 90% of the time the bins arrive in really great condition and they place them exactly where we've asked. We had an issue just one time with a door that wouldn't latch easily, but the driver figured it out. The bins have arrived on-site and been picked up as scheduled. They also say they sort everything rather than just landfilling it, which is important to me. I'll keep using Junk King.

He took the time to understand what my goals were and offered several options. He took the time to really listen and I felt like he was tailoring a plan to fit my unique needs. They (Chris and Steve) kept in close contact via email throughout the planning process, responding to all my inquiries and questions. I was impressed that company policy is to send out a scout ahead of time to get an accurate and detailed first hand look at the project so as to be adequately prepared on the day of service. On the day of service, they arrived on time in very professional vehicles (trailer, pickup truck, van). The 3 young men (intelligent college students) plus the foreman of the project, were courteous, professional, & conscientious. They were respectful of the property and removed items with care, even though the items were slated for destruction/donation. They were quick, they didn't fool around or stand around smoking, they were polite and did not curse, they didn't take a break until they were almost done (I offered them lunch). They finished ahead of schedule and cleaned up any debris or trash that fell during the moving process. The entire project from start to finish went off without a hitch. The only caution I would offer is to be aware that paying with a credit card (instead of cash or check) includes a service fee, which is clearly stated on the pre-estimate contract prior to agreeing to book the service.
