Then one day after, the speakers, and microphone were disconnected of the computer. I called him again,and he told me his price was again $ 350 plus taxes. So, it is difficult to pay $ 800 dollars for a job that is done in one hour and 5 minutes. I understand inflation is high but there should be some kind of consideration with the customers. In any case yellow pages advertises the charge of $150 per hour, and that does include the commute of the technician to the site. In conclusion I got another technician who came to add the speakers and microphone to my computer in 15 minutes, he charged me $140.00dollars. I do not recommend this busines.

Amazon would've taken a couple of days too many for me. I decided to look for "PC repair' in the Pt Washington, NY, Manhasset, NY areas. I called Henry, who was not in the office, and explained the situation. He immediately offered some thermal paste free of charge and called his assistant back at the office that I was on my way. Gladys was charming and helpful. I had my paste in a minute, returned home, and was able to be my son's hero. What's that worth, folks? This small act of kindness by Henry towards a complete stranger is a testament to his fine character. He has a customer and advocate in me for life for all my future tech needs.
