He said Gary Shlifer. The rest is history. I live in the West Hollywood area and trek out to Woodland Hills to see Dr. Gary; that should also speak volumes if you know what LA traffic is like. I consider myself to be a quasi-carnivore now who has worked some things back into my diet, where beef is central to my plate. When I first saw Dr. Gary, I complained of chronic morning headaches and daytime fatigue. He immediately recognized it could be Sleep Apnea and set me up with Dr. Gabe Adorjan, who is now my dentist and sleep specialist. My prior dentist casually dismissed my complaints as mere teeth grinding. Sleep Apnea got promptly diagnosed via a sleep study and is now gone. That's just one example of the exceptional care I've gotten. I get incredible nutrition advice too because, after all, food is medicine. Supplements play a role too and Evolve helped me understand what supplements would be helpful. Dr. Gary interprets labs in a way where a value being out of the reference range doesn't mean there's necessarily a problem; in fact, it could be indicative of good health. The staff at Evolve exceed expectations too. Dr. Gary has a prescient eye for talent. A big shout out to Jocelyn and Alvaro, who take the concept of "going above and beyond" and absolutely thrash it. The entire office does an admirable job of staying on top of all the latest health trends too in today's chugging-from-a-firehose news environment; while, crucially, thinking critically about trends based on data as they arise. The open-minded integrative approach at Evolve reigns over all others. I typically leave the office having learned something new.
