I really wanted to give this place a decent review, but I just can't. Which is a shame, because the people there are so friendly and easy to talk to. I went in with my mom the other day to get a manicure. I hadn't gotten my nails done in about 10 years when I was a kid, so I was a little nervous. I asked for short almond dip nails, and my mom asked for medium square acrylics. The lady who did my nails finished insanely fast. I wasn't keeping track of time, but I want to say it felt like approximately 30 minutes. Looking at my nails, you can tell they were rushed. They're very uneven, more so in width than in height. The paint job (dip job?) looks and feels globby. Some nails are pointer than others, and I had to go home to file some nails because the ends were jagged. On top of that, both of my thumbs are missing a spot of polish (which I somehow didn't notice until I left). As for my mom, her session took about as long as I would expect for a manicure (an hour or so, which was a little odd since I wanted 3 different colors and polka dots on certain nails, while she wanted all one color with a small simple flower on her ring fingers, but maybe that's because she got full acrylics and I didn't). I'd argue that her nails turned out worse than mine. She prefers acrylics because of how thin they are, but even after requesting her nails to be thinner, they somehow ended up thicker than mine. They're thick, globby, uneven, and jagged. She's embarrassed to go out with them, but she doesn't want to ruin her nails by taking the acrylics off so soon. Overall, as much as I enjoyed talking to and laughing with the people who worked there, I don't think I'll return to Prime. And I don't think this was all worth around $90-$100+ read more

Terrible! Called & made appointment yesterday, arrived early & they acted like I didn't have an appointment. Had one person start my nails & another lady, Lisa finish them. I had acrylic & she talked me into dip. I asked for coffin shaped, french ombre with snowflakes. Left with ovalish, sloppy nails. She rushed through my nails & my nails look nothing like my inspiration nails. Charger alot & not happy at all. Would not recommend or go back! read more

I came in without an appointment and they were able to see me right away for a French dip manicure. The French manicure design itself is good and from afar they look great, but the dip is a mess and unfortunately I don't think they'll last It wasn't until I got home I realized the dip had cured to my sidewalls and cuticles on all of my fingers. I tried to file around separate my skin from the dip, but the edges are messy, thick and already lifting after 3.5 days. read more

Came here on a whim after my family's go-to pedicure spot closed down. What a pleasant surprise, the staff here were all so kind and conversational, and you could tell they were having a fun time. They knew the names of almost everyone that walked in, showing they really cared about their customers and building relationships. They took their time on my and my parents pedicures, using different tools based on each of our needs. And pedicures were only $30. Couldn't ask for more and will be returning next time I am in town! read more

READ THIS REVIEW! 1. Salon is dirty and needs maintenance. Pedicure seats are ripped up and uncomfortable to sit in. 2. I left with a manicure that looked like a 2 year old did it. I could've done a better job myself. My tech was extremely distracted chatting away with another tech and it shows. Also, she did my entire manicure from the pedicure station...... WHAT THE F IS THIS??!!!?! Yanking my left arm over my body to the right to where she was standing instead of moving around.... I had a wonderful experience here with Lisa! This was my first time here, since I'm new to the area, and I wanted to share my thoughts: 1. This place has the FRIENDLIEST and happiest people I've ever encountered at a nail salon. The vibes are overwhelmingly positive. 2. The salon is well-organized and clean. 3. Usually when I go to nail salons, the technicians never talk to me. I find this weird because they sit right in front of you for an hour and never acknowledge your existence. My sister and I came for acrylic refills with gel. It was reasonably priced and we were both very happy with our nails! It was pretty busy but they have a big staff and we didn't feel rushed at all. The only reason I took a star off is because we requested appointments specifically with Kim and Pam (based on the yelp reviews) and they did not do our nails. I came in with a friend and my 4 year old. I wanted a DIP powder on my nails and a pedicure with normal polish on my toes. They took my friend to the tables and she started her acrylic set, my 4yo got her nails painted by the girl who answers the phone/ schedules- forget her name but she was a sweet heart. 5 stars for her. The owners daughter, forget her name as well, started my pedicure. I guess they have one standard pedicure because i wasn't offered deluxe, or even callus removal. The pedicure took maybe 15 mins. The lady doing my friends acrylic set had moved her to the pedicure chair next to me so that she could hang and chat with me. 3 minutes after my friend got to the pedicure chair, I was moved to the tables to get my DIP. No biggie, just honestly taken back by the fact that my pedicure was as fast as it took the other girl to paint my toddlers finger nails. Now the owners daughter was nice, she was chatty which I don't mind because she was cool to talk too. But I feel like she was a little occupied with talking to the other techs to pay enough attention to doing my nails. I mean I'm paying her for a service I'd expect her to do a clean job. Clearly these photos show that her dip application was anything but clean. I wasn't going to post a review, simply because the daughter was "nice" to me and my kid. But we're now a week out and my dip nails have been popping off since maybe 4 days after I got them. Sooo..... - MESSY dip nails - 20 min speed pedicure with minimal cuticle clean up and no callus removal ... all for over 90$ including tip. May I add this was the second time I have come to this salon. First time was also a messy disaster. I didn't realize this was the salon my friend had chosen to come too until we got here, otherwise I wouldn't of even come this second time. I'm out 90$ and just as disappointed as the first time I had gotten a manicure. The salon is pretty, the techs are actually really sweet. I just really wish they took the time to take care of their clients. I'm in the search for a good salon as I just moved to the area and they could have had a repeat customer but because of this lazy job, I won't be back. i live 40 min away and decided to catch up with a friend and have a little girls day. we definitely picked the wrong place.. we were greeted by a young girl who proceeded to roll her eyes at us and give us the worst attitude because we didn't have a appointment. 10 minutes of standing there, they finally sat us at the pedicure stations. we sat in cold water for 30 minutes before someone started us. when they did start us, my technician got up and walked outside and picked up her food. i couldn't enjoy the pedicure because i noticed that none of the clippers were sanitized. definitely needs to be cleaned and front desk needs to be retrained in customer service. wasn't a good impression for a first time customer. not worth the $77 at all. read more

This is specially for Abby. I've been going here a couple months now and she's been doing great work. My nails last so long (last time was 5 weeks). I go back today, arrived 5 minutes before my appointment, and was sat down right away. Abby wrapped my nails and went in the back while they soaked and I picked out my color. I noticed she was gone for a while and then I found out she completely forgot about me. I understand that can happen from time to time, but when she came back she was cracking up about it. She took the book of colors away, but I didn't get to tell her what color I wanted. Had to remind her a couple other times what color I wanted. She didn't apologize to me until later on. I didn't appreciate being laughed at in my face about it, so unprofessional. I'm only giving two stars because she did great work, but poor customer service. Been following my manicurist for 10 years and she's been here for 4. Noticed the last few times I've been in, all the gals are new and several are very skimpily dressed- like they belong in another line of work. Today I asked the new owner if she had a dress code, was informed she didn't, and I indicated she might want to consider as one of her gals shorts were w/in centimeters of her hoohoo. Was informed in front of staff and clients that the gal was dressed fine, it was summer time and as long as nothing showed- she was ok with it. (thing is, this gal dresses like this in the winter too) She then stated "if you have the body, you can wear whatever you want. Just because some people are jealous, doesn't mean...." I was appalled a business owner would treat a long time client in such a manner to fat shame them in a public forum. I have gotten my nails done here many times and never had an awful experience. I got my eyebrows done and had the opposite. The station was exposed to the public and uncomfortable and I got an awful rash/ and bumps for weeks later. This is a picture of now (3 weeks after I got my eyebrows done). I do not know how this happened. I have bumps all around my eye and eyebrows. It has been red and painful, especially now when my hairs are growing back in. Giving one star because my manicure literally didn't make it for less than 8 hours. It chipped the night of and then progressively got worse the next day. I am posting pics of the next day and day 2 of the manicure. I understand regular polish doesn't last long but even a manicure that I give myself at home lasts longer than this. Also she did not clean up the sides at all. I called the salon to have them fix it to which the person replied this is what happens with polish get gel. Ended up not making the trip to get it fixed as I shouldn't have had to in the first place and didn't feel like being asked about it. I didn't pay nor did I want gel just regular polish. The technician was very nice, the manicure itself was good but not a good paint job at all. Pedicure is fine at the moment. Not sure how the gel or acrylics are here. got my mani and pedi done and I picked the dip color for the first time, I kept telling the girl that I wanted the same color on my hands as my feet and she kept saying I guarantee you I will. Well when I tried explaining that my feet don't match my hands she got all offended and upset and gave me attitude. I don't remember her name but she sat in the middle row, but every time I go there the first desk on the left side lady is always sooo loud and she scared my kid twice and now my kid refuses to go inside, she's laughing loud and talking loud, I understand she is a happy person but as an employee you're making other people uncomfortable and there is no reason for you to be that loud and when she laughs and talks I see other people feeling uncomfortable too so I know for sure I'm not the only person feels that way, also please keep your dip colors organized with other nail polish so people don't have 2 different colors on!!!!!!!!! read more
