Simply the best! I reached out to YES career coaching…read morebecause I was feeling stuck and ready for a change in my work. My resume was OK, but I wanted to put my best foot forward. The team did a fantastic job on rewriting my resume, cover letter and LinkedIn profile. I ended up applying to a handful of jobs and got an interview immediately. What ended up happening though is that during the resume rewriting process, I developed this newfound confidence in my work that I never had before and I was going to go after what I wanted to do. I started to network with people that I knew in my area at different companies and ended up with an opportunity that was a perfect fit for me. Since I was a referral, the management team was not too focused on my resume but I ended up getting the job! I am thrilled to start this next chapter of my career and I have to thank YES career coaching for guiding me to see the light I had inside of me so that I can show up and be the best version of myself. Highly recommend!!

My 30 min consultation with Katherine was really helpful! I learned formatting tips and ways to beef up my resume by adding a header, summary, and core competencies and creating sectional dividers. She recommended outcome-based bullet points that highlight the benefits and quantify the results rather than a laundry list of tasks. Katherine was friendly and thorough and even had enough time to quickly proofread my hubby's resume. It was really nice to get an extra set of eyes! While the $299 starter package seems a bit pricey, it's a good deal considering that you are equipped with the A team of an interviewer, drafter, and editor. They will rewrite your resume and can fine tune and belt out those bullet points. While my resume could use a few tweaks, the starter package is a great option if you're looking for a resume overhaul without doing all the guess work. I found the resume consultation surprisingly useful. Would highly recommend it and consider the packages!

When I wasn't available when she wanted me to be for a Zoom interview, she was suddenly unresponsive and passed the assignment to someone else (which is perfectly fine), but was not forthcoming about that at all and instead said that the company no longer needed help with the project. The dishonesty speaks to a lack of professionalism and integrity, and the recruiter Maggie simply could have said that the company needed someone sooner. While temporary agencies have their clients' interest (businesses) first and foremost in mind, that does not mean job seekers and temporary employment candidates need to be lied to. After all, candidates are The Choice's and other temporary agencies source of revenue. In light of this, I write to let others know that candidates deserve to be treated with respect, and to job seekers: advocate for yourself when employment practices are not transparent. As someone else mentioned, the glowing reviews are curious and my previous not glowing review was flagged (most likely by The Choice). I highly suggest consulting other sources such as Glassdoor and Google for more holistic, balanced insight to inform your decision of whether to work with them.

But, it didn't stop there, I have also received 3 calls from nearby branches of Randstad asking if I was interested in other job opportunities closer to home. I could tell by the clients that they've mentioned to me that they didn't get here by luck. I am very familiar with the recruiting process and the sense of urgency to fill vacant positions. This company is on top of their game. They made me feel like I was not just another unemployed nobody looking for a job. Their network of candidates is not just a pool of individuals, it is a pool of potential candidates that can fill vacancies. And their global coverage is testimony to the fact that they can find the right person for the job. I highly recommend this company!

Horrible! I think most temp agencies nowadays will promise you a job and never deliver. This…read morecompany is just there to meet a quota. The many times over the years that i've given this company the benefit of a doubt, they always let me down. Many different times I met with a girl named Brittany. The last time, which was last year, I was told by her that she had SOOO MANY bilingual positions. Obviously lies because she didn't deliver not one. I have the administrative skills, plus being bilingual, I should have gotten at least one opportunity. But no, of course, they want to meet their quota of how many people they get in, to fill out their pointless applications and take their useless tests, that nine times out of ten, don't have a damn thing to do with the position. Like in most temp agencies, when you call, the receptionist will highly screen the call to make sure that you are either someone who is already employed through them or someone new...if they haven't bothered to find anything for you, they wont tell you, they just say that the recruiter is "not in" at the moment. Well this is most temp agencies for you to say the least. I think it's best to opt for your own job hunting if you don't want to waste your time.

I was told I'd need to dye my hair a "normal" color in order to get any job with them. I NEVER heard a single word back from them. TOTAL waste of time. Prejudice & judgmental.

Though the response time was lightning quick during the resume and computer skill testing process, Rhonda Clark was very unresponsive and ignored my emails and phone calls soon after my in person interview. Learning from past conferences and career workshops, I wanted to thank her and follow up with her after the interview which she personally said went very well and that she was "impressed" -- but I was always either left with her voice mail or someone else would pick up and say she was "traveling to a meeting," when Rhonda had clearly told me that she would be in her office all week. Lying or making up fake excuses just to not even let a young grad follow up is very unprofessional, in my opinion. And I'm sure if the staff responds to this, their rebuttal would be "schedules can change, or unexpected events can occur, etc." but that, of course, is an easy and generic answer to respond with. I decided that after ignoring me for 2 weeks with me attempting to reach out that they had completely written me off. Which is actually fine, because I found a wonderful job by myself and without their help soon after. :) But honestly, I don't appreciate the two-faced attitudes of the reps there. I understand that clients are important, yes, but don't purposely ignore someone who is trying to reach out to you. Even just telling me that your company doesn't provide temp positions in the fields that I'm interested in would suffice. But instead Curzon chose to ignore, delete, and write off. That's quite unprofessional, honestly! I would never recommend Curzon at all, and would never refer anyone to Rhonda Clark.
