Unit was on the interior and I thought that would prevent any damage to my items. Manager didn't take any responsibility for the flooding, blamed it on the business above them. Upon moving my property out of the unit, signing the vacate notice, leaving the unit empty and clean the regional manager "Sam" charged my account for the storage fee the following month after I vacated. I called them to make them aware of the error. They were pleasant at 1st and reimbursed my money that morning, however that afternoon they again charged my account for the storage rent. I spoke to them on the phone through out the week as well as went to the business to try to resolve the issue. The manager " Sam" became very rude and nasty. He said " I reimbursed your money, why would I need your money I have a 35 million dollar business." I showed him my bank statement where he double charged my account in 1 day. He became extremely obnoxious and said " Lady I told you I make millions of dollars a year, I don't need your money, I'm not reimbursing you" he refused to place the money back into my account. I'm paying for empty unit 7113. I'm sure he's robbed other's to make his millions. Pathetic!

She personally drove me to my unit in a golf cart since I was worried about getting lost. When I realized I was going to need a bigger unit she happily helped me get a different unit that same day. There was an online special for a small room for $25 a month. They also charge a $25 administrative fee when you sign up. After 4 months they are already raising my rent $10 a month due to "market adjustment". When I look online they are still offering the same move in special for $26, yet it's going up $10 for existing renters. Their business model is the hope that you'll never move your stuff and just deal with the price increase. It's a suitable place if you're only going to be there 2-3 months, but after month 4 you'll likely get a rent hike. Also the the operator will badger you for a review while you're there, but make sure to wait until you've been there a while before you do review. Most of the reviews on here were done when they started the process, and it doesn't get bad until later. Look at the "excluded reviews" for the company and they're basically all the same.

Do you need climate control, do you need a huge space, do you need top-notch security? Or do you want it all? Well, if you want it all, and will pay for it, then Green Township Self Storage is the spot for you. Unfortunately, a lot of people realized that before you just did, so there probably aren't any openings. Sorry bout that. It has regular and climate controlled options. It has sizes from large closet to fits a 3-bedroom house. And I am very impressed with the security system. There is a fence surrounding the property with two entrance gates. To gain entry you must enter your unique customer number. Each unit is wired with an alarm. When you enter your number at the gate, ONLY your unit is disarmed. All other units still have active alarms. The climate-controlled units also have tamper resistant locks to further defeat would-be thieves. When it's time to leave, you enter your number at the gate to get out and to re-arm your unit. I knew my belongings were safe at this place! The only gripe I have is that the provided carts are too small and have a knack for not being there when you need them. I've learned to bring along my own dolly if I'm definitely going to need it.
