The only places that are truly clean are the reception area and the bathroom, which is impeccably clean but requires a key to use. Every time you need to use the bathroom, you have to ask, which is very embarrassing! They should leave the bathroom door open. In short, if you are going to rent a space here, be aware of these problems.

I hired reliable movers over the summer to move a few of my larger items (bed, two sets of wooden drawers, and sofa). I even emptied my drawers to lighten the load on the movers. I was only moving a 4 mile distance, yet one of my sets of drawers was broken upon arrival to my new apartment. I was assured I would be compensated for the damage which NEVER HAPPENED. When I contacted Robert about this a month afterwards, I was ignored. These movers are the opposite of reliable and will not treat your furniture with care, take your money elsewhere since you'll have to spend additional money to cover the damages they cause.

They seemed nice and helpful but when my move estimate was sent it was for the wrong date, didn't reflect my deposit and they wanted to come at 8am which my building doesn't allow. So I called Robert and asked to correct the date to 8/21, reflect that I put a deposit, explained my building wouldn't let them in until 9am and that have to show prof they are insured to my building. He said no problem and said he would resend the estimate in the evening. When the new estimate came it was still for the wrong date. I tried calling but it was late I replied with an email asking him again to fix the date. The next day I got an email that my move was cancelled and when I tried calling I was sent straight to voicemail. So I emailed asking if this was just a cancellation to create a new estimate with the correct date or if they were really canceling my move. He simply wrote back we are canceling your move due to truck problems. I asked for my deposit back and of course no response. I have asked my bank to refund the deposit I gave them. I would say they are not reliable at all! I tried to book my move far in advance and now I'm stuck trying to find a mover in 12 days! DO NOT book with these people and definitely don't give them a deposit! Update: I did receive a phone call and email stating that my deposit would be refunded. I have not yet received the refund and my cc company said they haven't received anything from the company offering a refund. But I am going to believe that I will get my refund and will update when it's received.

He states he is sending it as urgent for them to call me back that day and I never get a call back. I have my credit card company disputing the charge. But I can't talk to a person on this and keep getting an AI. Even though I received notice they received my move out form, my online account doesn't show that I moved out. Again I received a notice in November that they received my moving out form. We've left the place on November 25th as too dangerous to park a travel trailer there. It's packed like sardines everywhere, and the roadway is only the width of a car.

They possess the soft-skills smart employers desire but can not train into someone. #hometraining Then add Lisa's 20-years experience in the Storage industry, she already knows the emotional questions a transitioning customer is likely to be facing. So this location's setting right next to a military base is fortuitous. I hope she owns stock in the company, John. The facility, itself, is wonderfully clean. The baseboards, crevices, and ceiling rafters showed no caked-in dirt nor even a cobweb. There are three floors with a tin roof. No water stains indicating leaks were visible, though, being a recent change in ownership, there were no available records of how many hurricanes the building had handled. It was this fact that made me hesitate on securing my rental and return home for a Google dive. Not everyone has this additional time when in the life-event of securing a storage unit. It would be my suggestion to the owners to have this information more readily available. While insurance is provided (and required), the reality is once something irreplaceable is gone, it's gone. Accessibility is the only partial fault I found with this facility. If there were the option to drop half a star to 4.5, I would, and solely for this reason. The serpentine hallways immediately surrounding the elevator egress are a problem. In fact, the free, readily-available carts can not even roll around them without much maneuvering and scraping walls. I have concerns for our more fine furniture pieces fitting through here. This was frustrating because it appears to be an easy resolve to remove four end units. So, Capitalism reigns! Consumers beware; you'll definitely need three people for items like sleeper sofas or entertainment units. Ladies, there is a LOT of security visible here! the parking lot is open with no hidden nooks. FYI, there are also no trees for long moving days.Each door has an overhang but only one vehicle fits in the space at a time. If you arrive seconds after a large moving truck, you're screwed for shade. I saw multi-cameras everywhere. The HD monitors at the reception desk showed faces and details of activity on the multiple hallways. Each door AND the elevator require a personalized code. The hallways are brightly lit, not that weird yellow fluorescent so common in storage facilities. There are even some rays of natural light peaking around the Maintenance storage units. An aesthetic game-changer for this facility could be achieved by lowering the walls of these window-blocking units. Or to utilizing fencing instead of the walls. This access to natural light would improve the perception of safety. The contract was easy to read and your basic "we get your stuff if your rent's late" wording. What I appreciated was that it was well laid-out and sans threatening-sounding legal speak. The desk is set-up with a large HD monitor facing the customer during the signing process. I did not feel like line items were being hidden from me or attempted legalease glossed over. A copy of the contract could be printed or emailed to me. There is an option to receive payment reminders via text or to sign up for auto-withdrawal. They are _not set-up for Apple/Google Pay so bring your wallet. There is an option to call or use email to communicate with Lisa and Eboni. As I will be outside the country and in different time zones, I appreciated this additional access-point should there be any issues.

What makes matters worse is that I need to move from another storage unit into this larger one and there is very little time to accomplish this as there is NO light to see where to place anything. I have repeatedly tried to contact management, and have been assured that the message has been passed along. At this point my favorable recommendation has turned into not so favorable. Good to know that security was such that we were told that we'd have to be escorted by the unit owner. And that they could not just let us in. The inside is full air conditioned. The units are fairly standard with pull down doors. The gal we met and escorted us inside (after we called her) seemed quite happy with her choice to rent three units side by side here. The hallways seemed clear and clean. Can't tell you how the unit prices are in comparison to other facilities , but you can easily check this out if you're interested.
