Sunshine Self Storage is a well-run, clean, operation. You punch in your code number and the gate opens. You drive through to your storage unit where you have to re-enter your code in order to use the elevator. Parking is easy and Sunshine has adequate carts for your use. I've been there for three years and they just now after raising their prices twice the first two years moderately, have now raised their prices by 75%! it now costs me nearly $ 500 a month if I want to keep my RV parked there outdoors on a concrete spot. I've had a unit here since 2019 and have never had an issue until this year when they decide me to raise my rent by $51 a month. This is more than a 28% increase which is just ridiculous. I can get a the same size unit at any other storage facilities for what my original rate was. This place is a rip off. read more

Had unit in Boca Raton Sunshine Self Storage for over 11 years, finally needed to get rid of it. The staff was always great, and Ibis was excellent anytime i needed help. The facility is excellent as they keep it great, and are there for their customers. I would not hesitate to go back there in the future if i needed another unit. I am doing everyone a favor and giving you a heads up on this company ...... sunshine storage units ..boca rio rd do not use them ...do not go near them ....do not even be tempted ... I am warning you I'm giving good advice. I have been at sunshine storage for 5 years I've had problems before but what could I do I didn't want to move my entire storage units over to another facility. Now in the middle of the month after 5 years...I move my things out.... I get told I'm going to be prorated for the rest of the month . I book a truck on monday, to go and pick up furniture today ...after moving my things out last weekend. they don't even bother calling me ...3 days later...they call my son and tell him that because I'm no longer a customer and don't have my things in the unit I can't get the truck. I found this out last night when I was supposed to be moving things today and then to top it all after being a customer for five years I also find out that there is no prorated money that will be refunded to me what b******* .... to make matters worse ....the script that the employees there have is... I am just a lowly worker I don't make decisions the customer is always right but I can't do anything....verbatim! what a bunch of American b******* Im sooooooooooo pissed Do not use Sunshine storage in Florida. read more

Very sneaky. They r the kind of place that smiles while they stab ya in the back. I was a client for just about a year and had not a problem but when I move out everything becomes an issue. I paid on time and overpaid and they refused to give me a pro-rated amount. So I said can I sub let it answer no. If you don't have a lock on it consider it abandon and we take it. Look just good business to give the tenant the pro rated amount back. I'm not looking for anything I didn't pay for but just with a big smile ya get nothing. Ok. So a reason I rented here is that as long as you are a tenant you can use the truck for fee for 4 hours of available. Good deal!!! So I asked today if it was they said it was rented from 9-1 and 1-5 so no. Ok I didn't call ahead I get it. However from 9-12 the truck never moved. So......... Again if your taking my money through July 31st......and now making up a story that truck is "booked". To me that's sneaky. Not good business. read more

If you are looking for a storage facility that does its utmost in security and cleanliness, then this is the place for you. I had a third floor storage area and the only way to get up the elevator is with the same code you use for getting through the entrance gate. Yes, the are a bit pricy, but worth the extra cost.
