I signed up for a one-month-free move in special on a 5x5 unit , they told me they could give me a 5x10 for the same price, so I agreed. The contract they gave me showed the full price, not the promo delaying my movers by two days because I refused to sign incorrect pricing. Three months later, they suddenly raised my rate to $99, and five minutes after that, I got an email saying the same 5x10 unit is advertised for $64. Once you're moved in and committed, they change the price textbook bait and switch. The employees are friendly, but the tactics are deceptive. My experience with Shannon on the phone is beyond disappointing Her customer service skills are extremely poor, she is very unhelpful, rude, and dismissive of basic concerns. Communication was lacking, and it felt like resolving issues was not a priority. I would not recommend this location if you expect professionalism or support. I rented a unit for $19.56 a month August 2nd. Upon review of my account today, October 3rd, I see that my next charge will be for $56.00. When I called, I was advised that a rate increase notice was sent October 1st - it was never received by me, and there was no such notice in my online account. And although I receive all other notices via email, the rate increase notice was not sent via email. Was also advised that the rate increased because of supply and demand, but I went online and the current rental rate for the unit I have is $39. Bait and switch! Do NOT rent a unit here, you will regret it. I have used many storage facilities in my 56 years of living, and I have NEVER run into such dishonest and unscrupulous business practices. read more

I parked my RV at this location for two years. I moved it for two reasons, then was screwed again when I left: 1--The gates are often broken, meaning they're left open for days at a time. There's no security that I know of late at night, so anyone could wander in and steal equipment or break into storage units. 2--Constant price increases. My rent increased about 30% over two years. That's far above the rate of inflation. I assure you there were no improvements made to the parking spot where my RV was. Upon leaving, I gave about 45 days' notice. I didn't want to be tagged with any extra fees. I left on May 1. However, my bill was paid through May 14. I asked the manager about getting a refund immediately after that bill was posted in April and he mumbled something about, yeah, we'll see. That should've been a sign to me. Despite moving out on May 1, and giving 45 days' notice that I'd be doing so, I was told AFTER I moved out that my rent for May 1 through May 14 would NOT be refunded. There are lots of storage places in this area. I urge you to choose another. read more

I was forced to move out of my third unit here in 17 years because they refused to fix the AC. I literally begged them for over six months. They also told me they would not charge me for a month because of the AC. They did not do that. Because of my health and disability, I just moved down the hall where an AC was working, as I could not go to another place. My sister had to help me. I rented this unit, same size online. I have not even been there TWO MONTHS, and they already raised my rent! They snare you with a low-ball price knowing how hard it is to move, and they raise their prices. They told me a lie and said they would not raise the prices until at least next year. So criminal and dishonest. Go anywhere but here. They do not care about good customers or customers period. I saw two people move out while I was moving because of water leak and mold. The Temperature on the AC thermostat was 93. The dolly they had was missing a wheel. Just terrible. Go to any other storage unit you can find, prices on the website that are the deals, do not match if you go in person and book & nobody will price match it. I needed a large unit and one that was available was in a "climate controlled" building. I loaded my items in there and would come back at least every week with more items and to check things out. Note, this is all of my home and personal belongings while I was finding a home here. In the unit next to me, there began to have a mass puddle of water in front of their door and creeping into their door. I called multiple times because I went multiple days in a row to see that it was still there, the response I got was "we'll make a maintenance request" not one person ever came, not one person from the front desk came to look at it. In that same time period, I made a call saying that the air conditioning was not working and it was cooler outside than in, the response I got was "it doesn't work all the time." I started to unpack my unit this week and there was standing water on the ground, mold and more water leaking in. My mattress is destroyed, I have furniture, destroyed. I have boxes and bins with mold growing on the outside and inside. I went to the front office, they didn't even come to the unit to see the water and take photos or make notes. Their response was, darn that stinks well here's our email and you can send us what happened and we'll try to submit it to insurance. The most unprofessional, uncaring, storage unit I have ever used. You are paying over $300 a month to have a large climate controlled unit and instead within a few weeks.. building with a roof leak, mold growth on the ceiling and floor and broken air conditioning. The comment that got me was that when I move out, I have to have a walk thru done to make sure the unit is clean or I will be charged extra. They are fast to charge you extra if your unit isn't sparkling but not willing to walk over to look at a large leak on the floor or your unit that has been destroyed. I wish I could contact other people who have units in that building to let them know that their stuff is also probably destroyed and unsafe to be around due to mold. read more

Worst experience of my life. Went there to rent a spot for my boat, as I was in between marinas The lady and man at counter told me how secure this facility was. Rented a spot, on day 4 went to clean boat only to find 1/2 my engine gone, went to front office neither the man or woman at desk would look at me offered no help, didn't go out to look, didn't look surprised. Maybe inside job? Police inspected fence and advised various holes in fence and is being removed totally, next week, fence is owned by adjacent development this facility has no fence, which after all this was not disclosed to me. These employees then refused to give managers name or corporation information. after using this facility for 4 days I was told they can't refund me. There is no transparency or honest or professionalism at this facility. Do not use under any circumstance. read more

I rent a space, for a short time. I had it a month, the garage door failed. I asked the girl, which she said, I cant use my storage unit, until it gets fixed! WHATtttt~! That means I can not get to any of my property, til they fix it, because it becomes a safety issue. The girl, (not so nice) made me relinquish my key for my lock, to have it repaired. I was out of town for a week, and waited for the call to say, its fixed. I finally went down there. Nope nothing was ever started, the call to repair service nothing! I said, how am I to get my property out. She said she would have to be present, and I asked to give me another unit to put my property in, she could not and would not do that! I said I will take my belongings to another storage place that would work for me. She was a little sarcastic and said you have to fill out the form. I asked for it, and she said I had to go online fill it out. Not there! And I had to give notice, of a month, as well. For something that did not work, I had to pay for, and not a care in her world I was satisfied with there service, at all. She was not very nice, and I tried my best to be considerate of what all she was doing. Nothing, really! I would NEVER recommend this storage place, ever!
