It's at the other end of the plaza, so it's pretty easy to miss if you don't usually go to that end, but I'm glad I found it. The place is a bit packed with stuff so it can be hard to maneuver around when it's busy like when I went. The owners and employees are all super nice and helpful. I ran out of my favorite herbal tea to drink when you feel "yeet hay," so I decided to go in and see if they have it. They said the brand I use isn't available anymore, but they carried different brands, so now I had options. I decided to get both brands of the sugar free ones and found out the ones I had before were full of sugar because these new ones were bitter, but that's when you know it's good. Not sure how pricey they are like others have said but the tea I got was standard pricing like other places. They carry frozen Australian abalone, so that's definitely something I'll get next time when I want to splurge on myself. I'll take my time next time to see what else they carry.

I was incredibly disappointed because I could've used those WIC dollars to purchase better and fresher produce and cold items at a different location but instead I shopped for bad items not once but twice. I have no issues with the workers but I wished they had considered thoroughly checking their goods before putting them out or maybe this is something the management do to not let go of these bad produces because it's simply a waste for them. My first time with buying bad produce was around summer, I live just 4mins away from this location & this one particular day I went and grabbed strawberries, milk and other dry goods. I kid you not, the very next day these strawberries formed mold and was all mushy, the milk was bad aswell. This was because their fridges were all down that week or day I guess, atleast that's what I was told. I couldn't leave for another location because I was in this area and had to hurry home so this was the only choice and is closer. 2nd time was with corn that was moldy, slimey and let out white sticky liquid when cut in half, and also block of cheese. Again, this is probably because of their fridges being out but idk this around time. The bad items get hidden so well that sometimes you can't even tell if they're bad esp with corn that is covered around the ends. Management needs to improve & recheck their produce sections. Fix their cold fridges aswell if is causing issues. I've read a few mothers comments on FB complaints about this location and how they don't care, & now that I've experienced it, I'm never going back to this location. Prime Time location at 3821 41st Ave, Sacramento is SO much better with fresh and long lasting produces if you're in the South area like me.

But over the last few years, I kind of went through a period of low energy, depression and a lot of stress. When I finally decided to take charge of my life style again, diet, exercise and supplementation was back in the forefront. I happened to be in the Walmart shopping center where this store is located, and I realized, It was time to return to GNC and see what they had to offer and maybe get motivated again. I mainly needed to buy some Peptiva for my mom. I found myself almost amazed that they carried several products where previously I had been running around to other places or purchasing online. There was a sale going on where I bought an item and got a second 50% off! And even though others were at full price, I found out by the very nice and helpful staff member April, that my membership was still in full force! I received my qualified discounts and earned points towards future purchases! I'm pretty sure I saved about $100.00 on that day! Now I may consider their monthly shipment program to save even more money and time, including free shipping! I'm already looking forward to getting my next shopping list together for my next visit! We've shopped at this Bel Air a few times in the mornings and have had problems with items that are…read moreadvertised to be on sale but aren't when scanned at the register. The meat and deli sections of the store seem to have the most problems with mispricing. This morning we bought two different cheeses that were advertised as being on sale but weren't on sale in their system after scanning the items at the register. The store employee manning the self service checkout machine seemed annoyed at having to correct the prices of the items and he had difficulty making the corrections at the register. Service in this store is lacking. There usually isn't an open check stand with a checker in the mornings. You'll have to use the self checkout registers which are tightly crammed together which makes it difficult to check out if you have a shopping cart and there are other shoppers at the other registers. The self checkout area is poorly designed! This Bel Air seems to restock the shelves in the mornings instead of at night when the store is closed. If you shop in the mornings you'll have to dodge food pallets and stocking staff while shopping. The store is fairly clean inside but the parking lot is filthy littered with garbage and debris. A nightly parking lot sweep might help?
