We used to be a Duruxx dealer and due to lack of available product we terminated our relationship…read more In January we were approached by a dealer who had 3 2016 Duruxx DRX2 models 1 2016 DRX4 and 1 2015 Duruxx DRX 4 model. The dealer stated due to poor customer service and lack of warranty coverage from Duruxx he just wanted to sell these units and cease his relationship with Duruxx. We elected to buy the 5 Duruxx models, sent the dealer the money and had the units shipped to us. When the units arrived we completed our inspection and found that 2016 models had EPA stickers stating they are actually 2015 models and the 2015 DRX4 had an incorrect vin number that Duruxx placed on the unit. On 2/1/2017 I called the dealer who I purchased the units from and explained the issues and he called Duruxx who refused to help resolve the issue. On 2/3/2017 I called Lee (the owner of Duruxx) and explained the issues and he stated he would correct the issues and provide me with a tracking number within 2 business days. After the 2 days went by I called Lee again who stated he will have the tracking number to me by the end of the business day, which never happened. We have made numerous calls to Lee over the 3 weeks with no response. We have sent both Lee (the owner of Duruxx) and Mandy (his wife) who signed the incorrect MSO's numerous emails and they have failed to respond to the issues. These units were built in 2015 and sold to Duruxx from the factory as 2015 models with 2015 EPA certificates and Duruxx elected to change the VINs over to 2016 models and leave the 2015 EPA plates on them. It clearly appears as this is fraud on the part of Duruxx and I would only assume if we have 5 the other Duruxx dealers are in the same boat, not to mention the poor consumer who paid for a 2016 and ended up with a 2015 with wrong vins and wrong EPA plates. I would strongly caution any dealers and consumers to stay away from this company and if you see that same issues on the Duruxx models you purchased to contact the state of Oklahoma and file a complaint as that is the state Duruxx is licensed in. Again, we only wanted Duruxx to provide the correct vins and MSO's to match the units.

Professional service, but two major safety oversights…read more I have mixed feelings about my recent experience at Purdy Hyundai. I brought my 2024 Hyundai Elantra in for a 30,000-mile service (costing $1,100), but what followed was an incredibly stressful and dangerous afternoon. The Issues: Engine Failure: After leaving, my car blew a cloud of black smoke and lost power while entering the freeway in heavy semi-truck traffic. I had to limp back to the dealership with the engine shaking. It turns out a step was missed during the fuel line cleaning, leaving non-fuel residue in the lines. Undercarriage Failure: After the first "fix," I headed home again. 40 minutes into my drive, the front undercarriage cover fell halfway off and began dragging. I was stranded on a rural stretch of the freeway, 40 minutes from the dealership. The Recovery: Despite these major mechanical oversights, the staff at Purdy Hyundai were exceptionally kind and professional. When I called from the side of the road--exhausted and frustrated--they were apologetic and immediately offered a loaner and a tow. While they didn't have staff available to drive to my rural location that evening, they coordinated through Hyundai AAA to get me off the road quickly. The next morning, they replaced the damaged panel and personally drove my car out to my home (almost an hour away) to deliver it to me. Verdict: The technicians clearly made some significant errors that put me in a dangerous situation. However, the management and service advisors handled the aftermath with grace and high-level accountability. They made it right, even though the experience was a nightmare. I appreciate their kindness, but I hope their service department implements better quality control checks in the future. I thought about giving a star rating of 3, but chose 4 instead because I've taken my car here for all service needs since I bought it, and have had nothing but positive experiences. I also chose to give a score of 4 stars because of the professionalism and accountability from all staff members who helped me. My car is doing much better now, as am I.

When greeted in the parking lot by a girl working there, I showed her the car I was there to see…read more When she asked for my information I asked if I could see the car before giving any information, I want to make sure we like it before. She rolled her eyes and whipped her head back as if I had said something inappropriate. I let her know that we're a serious buyer, and if that is a problem I can leave. I then asked her to go get her Manager due to being rude after that. (She never got one) We waited 20minutes to find a car we found online after being told it was there. To then be told it got sold, to then pick out another car listed which was listed with no damage... had deep scratches down the right side and took 20 minutes to find as well. They weren't willing to change the pricing in anyway, so we decided to walk. Before walking out, the sales manager offered us a base model ELANTRA for 19.9k. After going up and down on different cars for a hour, I wanted to think about it. We came back 3 days later and the Manager said it was only that day...never communicated that at all. We already bought a brand new car from Kia so I don't need a solution from Hyundai. But I did feel that it was important to share that this dealership did not make us feel valued, or welcomed in anyway. Even if they weren't able to keep that exact deal coming out to shake our hands and apologize would've gone a long way.
