[[HIGHLIGHT]]I feel completely neglected as a patient.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]PrimeDoc Columbia is absolutely horrible at communication and follow-up.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It does not matter if you send emails or messages through their patient portal -- you simply do not get answers.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I reached out multiple times and was ignored. Because they failed to follow up with me, I was forced to book an entire medical appointment and pay a copay just to get information I should have received by email. I wasted both my time and my money. It is now January 13 and I am still without the medication I need and still without a proper reply. This is unacceptable and irresponsible patient management. Healthcare providers should not leave patients in the dark, especially when medications are involved. I will absolutely be going elsewhere. read more

Absolute trash place to receive healthcare with scam practices, lying about in-network insurance, and leaving us hanging for over 4 MONTHS. [[HIGHLIGHT]]My partner called the office prior to coming in asking if they are in network for his insurance and they said yes.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] He came in, received a Covid test, flu test, and a "direct optical exam" (doctor looking at the patient lol) and was billed $325! The bill obviously raised concerns so we called Tricare only to confirm that they are OUT OF NETWORK. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I called the office directly and have on audio recording saying they are in-network for the specific Tricare plan, which again, is said otherwise by Tricare.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]We have both called PrimeDoc billing and left voicemails since his visit on NOV 7 2025! [[HIGHLIGHT]]I had my appointment made a month ahead of time.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I had to take off work, fast for blood work , I've gotten nothing but reminders and confirmations probably 5+ in the last week that I have confirmed for me to be here at 8:30 this morning.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I got in 20 mins early for them to tell me they accidentally canceled my appointment and booked someone over me and was told I'd have to wait as if I was a walk in because she is booked all day.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This is not the way to do business, if this is a scheduling error on your part you should fix it, not punish the patient who did all the right things leading up to the appointment. Walked in at 7:45 am and was given an 8 am appointment. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Check-in was easy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Seen promptly. Laura Bothe was thorough, professional, and very personable. She listened carefully to my description of my issue and ordered appropriate diagnostic tests. [[HIGHLIGHT]]However, my most recent visit was not quite the same with Dr. Nelson.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I called back requesting that he call me back since the incompetent front desk person couldn't answer my simple question.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I waited for a response and the next day I sent him a message in the portal. Three days later and I still haven't heard from him. This is totally unprofessional[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. Since I'm currently in between primary care doctors I was considering one from this practice. PrimeDoc is not dependable. It takes almost 3 weeks to get your prescription filled due to prior authorization failure on their part. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I've called PrimeDoc multiple times to prior authorization was sent to the company that provides prescription coverage[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. I get nothing but excuses about a third party company that handle the prior authorizations and in the meantime my prescription company that provides coverage confirms it was not sent and my prescription is in limbo. I messaged the provide via the patient portal and no one bothered to respond. If there were a rating of 0 that is what I would give PrimeDoc located in Columbia Maryland and never go back there AGAIN!!!! read more

My husband and I are patients of this great One World Healthcare system. Previously around 6 years ago, I went through several aches and pains and decided to go to see Dr. Celian Valero. She had me run some tests of different kinds and found out something that was not right. Because of her dedication and integrity in this field, she was able to detect that I probably should be admitted to the hospital after several pain and struggle episodes with my health. There they were to diagnose what was really wrong with me. I thank you all, staff, doctors for always being available and treating your patients like FAMILY! I cannot stress this enough. I feel really lucky to have found this practice after searching for years for a great PCP. Dr. Nelson treats me not just like a patient but like a real person. He takes the time to listen to my concerns. His referrals to other specialists have been spot on and done with warm handoffs. I even called once from overseas while on vacation and Dr. Valero helped me determine that I needed to seek medical attention in that country, and I am really glad I did. Sometimes it can take a while for the medical students to input the information at the beginning of the visit, but that is how students learn, so have some patience. read more

I had been looking for a new PCP and stumbled across this establishment while on yelp. I was able to make an appt for the following week. I love this practice. The doctor was very welcoming with excellent bedside manner. The doctor called me a couple days later to go over test results very clearly. The office was clean, my wait was short and the staff was great too. I'm so glad I finally found a great pcp, I'm referring my husband to go too! read more

Both Dr Valero and her nurse did not look interested in listening or even caring. I felt being rushed and unheard during the entire visit.

I went in here searching for a new PCP, I even met with the Dr. before I switched providers and told her what I wanted from a Dr. I switched providers and came in for my first appt. I saw a nurse practitioner who was in training, she literally did not listen to a word I said. I would tell her about an issue. (I have had this issues for 6 months, this is what it is, this is what I have done about it) she would then ask me, how long have you had the issue, what have you done about it ) I even told her I felt like she wasn't listening to me. When the dr came in, I showed her my issue, she did zero diagnostic, told me what she thought it was, and wrote a prescription. I asked for certain labwork, and referrals, and she went along with it. ok great. she sent out everything digitally, i had to leave. great! so i go to the pharmacy, there's no prescription. I call the dr, and she has to send the rx back in. sure, no biggie. then, i go to pick up the rx, and it's seriously. not enough. and no refills. I go to the lab to get my bloodwork done. they don't have the lab slip. i call the dr, and ask it to be sent over, and talk to the dr about the rx, which only lasted about 4 days, and didn't make a difference in my condition. she explains to me that the type of issue i am having will take longer to resolve, but again, no refills. now the insurance company won't fill another rx (which she said she sent over, but i got a printout, and good thing i did because when i went back to the pharmacy, they didn't have the rx, yet again) now. back to the lab. so after my initial appt, they said they sent the lab work over digitally. the lab didn't have it, so i had to call. they said they were sending it over again. i waited 40 minutes. at the lab, and fortunately i was in the building next to the doctors, because i had to walk over there to get a lab slip. it took them about 15 minutes to print it out and give it to me. i walked it back to the lab and THE DOCTOR HADNT EVEN SIGNED IT. SO I HAD TO WALK BACK OVER. and then... the receptionist literally said to me " Calm down, its fine, this isn't a big deal" (IT took me from 9:20 am, until 11:30 to get this resolved and handled) ZERO APOLOGIES. needless to say, I will not be going back and told the lab to send me the results directly. avoid this office. they are inept. I have never ever in my life had such a horrible experience at a doctors office. to summarize. a rx that was not enough, didn't make a difference, written without any diagnostic work, and no refills that I can't even get more of if it was an issue. (that was sent digitally, I had to call on, then for a refill, sent digitally, but I had gotten a hardcopy, and couldn't be filled) and labwork that was supposed to be sent digitally, I called and asked to be resent, and then had to go in to the office physically TWICE to get the paperwork myself. read more

My pcp I regularly used went out of business and I needed a new one in the area. I was referred to Dr. Valero at One World Healthcare and was very pleased with my experience. She is very polite and thorough. She spent 20 minutes asking me questions about my medical history and found issues I wasn't even aware of. In addition I loved that I could get my blood checked in-office and all my scripts were sent over electronically to my local rite aid. I haven't had to use it, it's really cool that I can send Dr. Valero a message or even video chat with her using their web service without having to come into the office. I highly suggest them if you need a new doctor in the Columbia area. read more

I was not excited about having to find all-new providers once I moved to Maryland, but after much research, I set up an appointment with Dr. Valero. And I'm so glad I did! She's very knowledgeable and thorough and I felt like she really took her time with me and understood my concerns. Her office staff is great too. I'm so happy I found One World! read more
