Nothing good to say. Been dealing with warranty from a new build over a year now. Took them a year to decide to fix our flooring. Still left a horrible job. Gaps in laminate, hallow floors, horrible tile work. Workers aren't professionals and neither is office staff all the way up to regional manger that will stop responding and just move slow on purpose. Primera is the single worst company I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. My builder, Woodside Homes, selected them as the cabinet manufacturer (and dropped them about 1 month after we took ownership). Our home never got a quality walk from the installers, so upon taking ownership, we had dozens of issues with misalignment, broken boxes, missing trim, and unfinished edges. A week before taking ownership, the appliances installers broke the end panel while trying to remove the dishwasher. This was May 2022. 15 months later, this still isn't fixed. Just to give you an idea of what you can expect: - 2 botched installs (both times they miscut the panel on-site) - 1 botched reskin - 3 panels delivered with major defects - 2 separate attempts at shoddy repair work on the prior defected panels and claiming they were new - 6 no-call, no shows to appointments - Lost count of the rescheduled appointments - The last panel was confirmed onsite, then later declared "it flew off the truck" when it was time for installation - Just today, rather than replace the panel that "flew off the truck", they stopped by (unscheduled) with a reskin. Their workorder explicitly said to replace the panel, not to reskin Primera doesn't communicate, can't manage their own inventory, doesn't perform quality checks, hires inept technicians, and lies through their teeth. They may very well be the most unethical company in existence. read more

Got a new home from Taylor Morrison with a $8k cabinets upgrade. The cabinets are all scratched, many handles are not level, a cabinet is crooked, the garbage drawer is so crooked unlevel, caulk not done correctly, lower molding not there, and we closed on this house June 30th and the molding on the desk just fell off that day The cabinet company Primera has not done one thing. Primera in Centennial Colorado installed all tile, granite hard wood and carpet in our new home. We have been trying for 8 months to have Primera rectify the following: 1. Remove and replace shower floor, tiles are uneven and even cut your feet if you are not careful. (Primera representatives confirmed shower floor needs to be replaced.) 2. Replace 16 tiles that were installed with cracks and chips. 3. Install missing grout throughout bathrooms and laundry room. 4. Bedroom carpet was installed without any tacking near walls in bedroom, peels right off the floor. I have even contacted Primera Corporate office in Arizona 4 times with pitiful results. read more

So I bought my DR Horton house back in June. Everything in the house was finished except for the cabinets. Ever since I've moved in I've been trying to get Primera the company who installed the cabinets to come out and fix the job they started. Missing a kick board on the island in the kitchen, boards that cover the outlets, and a crack in the crown molding. Have made 3 appointments to have them come out and fix it with no one showing up all 3 times. Not even a courtesy call ever to say they can't make it or even a follow up call saying why they haven't showed up. This was all stuff I pointed out in my walkthroughs for my house and was promised it would be fixed. It is now November and nothing. Filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau on both company's today. We'll see if that gets the job done but I doubt it. read more

Our experience with Primera has been awful, with various trades (especially cabinets and flooring). In fact, our experience building a new home that should have been exciting and joyful was made difficult, frustrating and discouraging - primarily because of this company. We have been in our home for over 1 year and still do not have tops to 2 of our cabinets as well as missing trim (all reported and allegedly ordered 2 months BEFORE closing). Our warranty walk-through today included flooring (which has been addressed several times since our initial walk-through - with EVERY request being denied because the shoddy work was within their "tolerance level." Today we hoped for a different experience, as we have a deep visible seam in the carpet in a main walkway. This particular room had been an issue prior to closing, as it was stained in several places due to it not being covered after install, and the room (carpeted floor) was used for waste (extra wood stacked directly on the carpet, piles of plastic, crew garbage, etc.). With it being a new home we expected a new carpet. Their representative refused and ultimately, it was steam cleaned (brand new carpet, already steam cleaned - meaning we had a used carpet before moving in). Today, the same representative (who also denied correcting any of our tiles that were not level, bubble in the grout, etc. because it was - again- within their acceptable level of tolerance) stated immediately "we are not going to do anything about that" (3 different carpet crews she has sent out have stated it was a poor installation). She then attempted to justify her decision (explaining carpeting 101 to me), I asked again if she would do anything to help us. She again said no. I then informed her that her explanation was not necessary. If she was saying no, I was going to talk to someone else. In front of several embarrassed witnesses, she stated "Then I'm leaving, I don't need to take this." When we went outside to talk to one of the other trades, this same person was loudly bad-mouthing us to anyone who would listen. We asked if we could explain our position and appeal for understanding and reconsideration; she did not answer, but took out her phone and began video taping us. All this because we simply wanted an obviously poor installation addressed (even acknowledged would have been nice). Our community has literally bonded over Primera Horror Stories. If you have a choice, do NOT use this company (and if you are looking at models, find out who does their interiors before you buy).O read more

Anyways these idiots are the installers of a countertop I ordered through Home Depot. 7 attempts to install and I told them to remove the countertop from my life. (Also, shove it where the sun doesn't shine). They never call back. They can't remember your name or your problem, they can't find your file and they pretty mush try to force broken product on you. As a real estate agent, I am embarrassed that I led my buyer to a Century Home. Main reason is because they use Primera for their interior upgrades and my experience with my client with Primera was terrible. I was with my client when all flooring, tile and carpet was picked. When Laura from Primera put the carpet up on her computer screen we commented on how it wasn't the carpet that they had just picked. She said " it is distorted on the computer but it is the same" so she took a picture of all their choices together and the carpet was right in her picture so we thought everything was good. Then a few months later when carpet is installed it is brown and not grey. Since my clients signed the contract they are stuck with that carpet. So walls and floors are grey and don't match. If my client truly didn't want their carpet to match the walls and other flooring, which they didn't, then you would think that if Laura was truly an interior decorator she would have steered them away from that. She didn't have to because they chose grey carpet but just didn't get it. Then Primera didn't send enough carpet. My client was forced to close or pay $300 a day. Two days after closing the rest of the carpet came in and was supposed to be installed but Primera didn't show up. read more

I was referred to Primera from a neighbor of mine. After driving all the way to their Tempe showroom to take a look at some cabinets that they offered, I scheduled a meeting to have them out at our house to measure for our remodel (we confirmed day and time two days prior.) They did not show up for our meeting, nor did they call at all to apologize for wasting my time or to reschedule. I received an email from them four days after the fact. This company was contracted by the building company for my new home to put in the cabinet work. As soon as I moved in, I noticed that the cabinets were defective and reported it in March. They sent out one of their contractors in April. He confirmed that it was a factory error and they would fix it. 3 months pass and no contact from them. They finally sent someone again in July to take a look, they confirmed (once again), that it was not normal and needed to be fixed. They disappeared again, it's been almost 2.5 months and they have still not done anything about this. The whole process has been ongoing for about 7 months. We urge you to use extreme caution if choosing this company for your remodel or new build needs. We purchased a new build home in February 2016 and the home was just completed in October of 2016. Primera Interiors was the design center we had to work with to design our new home. We thought this would be the most exciting part but shortly after the design center started working in the home, we knew we were in trouble. So much so, we wanted to cancel the build of the home and the builder stated they would keep every cent we had into it. Primera Interiors is by far the worst company we have ever dealt with. The customer service is a nightmare and NO ONE including their president Jim Miller cares about anything or any product they sell. We paid for an estimated 8k in cabinet upgrades and were given our only choice of white cabinets. We paid for glass fronts, soft close, dove tail, stove drawers, 48in uppers and so on. When we arrived at the home during the build the cabinets had been installed and we had no choice but to be extremely upset. The cabinets were AWFUL. The worst quality, no finish, broken, chipped, scraped, stained and destroyed. 3rd party viewers stated the cabinets look like old used cabinets that came out of an apartment building. We quickly contacted the builder. They could have cared less. We then contacted primera and were given the run around until we searched the web and found every email address to every employee at primera. We then sent photos and demands to hear back from anyone. At first they were so understanding and immediately met at the property and assured us over and over they were going to fix the cabinets. Well, 3 weeks later and 3 attempts by their "furniture/cabinet fixers" and every single time they tried to improve the cabinets they made them worse. Not only did they fill every scrape or broken piece with caulking and paint, they over sprayed our tile, our new oven and our new dishwasher. Also, when they were done re coating them in paint AGAIN...they closed the cabinet doors while they were still wet! This left little circle imprints (from the rubber dots used to not slam cabinets) on every cabinet face we have. The soft close cheap mechanism does not work and the cabinets slam shut, they never finished filling in the nail holes and just left them. And every cabinet door was installed unevenly. After the third attempt of them making it worse and worse we decided that we would have no other choice but to take other action. Primera has not been seen since and we have been told by the builder that they a long with Primera Interior feel we are being unreasonable. We had a new home built. It should be of new quality. That is not unreasonable. They unfortunately do not care to deliver a quality cabinet or quality customer service. Please be mindful before choosing this company for your building needs. We just wish we could post the 200 photos of damage. read more

We were very lucky to have Lisa Mize as our Account Executive at Primera Interiors. During the complete remodel of our home, we worked with Lisa for our kitchen and bathroom cabinets. During the installation of the new cabinets, Lisa and Primera Interiors went out of their way to correct a huge cabinetry "issue" that was not of their doing and we now have our beautiful, dream kitchen! I know many other companies would have left us hanging but Primera Interiors totally stepped up to the plate and competed our project the way it was intended to be. Through out the process, Lisa was a compassionate ear and a total professional from the beginning of the project all the way through to the end. read more

I purchased a home from a small custom builder almost a year ago and their interior finishes (cabinetry, flooring, and granite) were supplied through Primera. I found the selection to be excellent, the pricing fair, and the design help I received was top notch. My designer even helped with paint selection. Any minor installation issue was handled right away and I could not have had a better experience. Having dealt with many vendors during the construction of my home I can say that such was not always the case :/ I would recommend them to anyone doing a project and would definitely use them again in the future. read more

I was given a 4 hour window when the workers would show up, and they never did. Primera called to set up a new date and time the installers could come by, and they arrived an hour late. When requesting some follow up work on the same job, we were given a date and time that the installers would arrive, but they never showed up... again. Two whole days completely wasted. Next time we will work with a company that has better communication with their installation teams, better communication with their clients, and more respect for their clients time. read more

Clowns... My fiance worked with them to remodel her kitchen. The price was typical for custom cabinets. (No reason to put up with poor workmanship, delays or damaged product.) The kitchen is fairly large and the only part of the house that had not been updated in the last few years. Time really wasn't an issue for this job. If you have a designer or are talented enough to design your own kitchen, you may be ok. They have no imagination other than ordering cabinets that will fit in the space you have. Anything other than a straight row of cabinets seems to be outside their ability to imagine or suggest. Cabinets were delivered on time as agreed. Various components, however were delivered broken and mismatched (wrong colors). The installation went no better. The installer apparently did not have a copy of the plan and installed some of the cabinets upside down and backward. Doors on several of the cabinets swung the wrong way. The apparent answer to this problem was to relocate the hinges so the doors would swing correctly. This resulted in holes in the cabinets having to be patched and painted. So, she has new custom cabinets with patched holes in them... Installers didn't say a word and installed everything as was. The installers are apparently the quality control. Some of the pieces were installed broken/cracked. Again, instead of ordering components that were not defective, they installed them, saying nothing, until she noticed the cracks, patches, different color cabinets, etc. (The damage was very obvious...) The installers, are again the final quality control. No one from Primera showed up to examine the quality or accuracy of the work, during the installation nor afterward. She called half a dozen times over several days and no one returned her calls. She was sent to voicemail by the receptionist and left messages, but no one returned the calls. In fact, she couldn't get anyone on the phone to discuss the problems until it was time to pay the bill. A young lady from Primera called to collect the balance and insisted it was due immediately. She refused to pay the remainder until all the damage was fixed and the cabinets were all the same color. (Primera blamed the company that fabricated the cabinets for the mistakes in color, insisting that they ordered them correctly.) Someone from Primera was sent to her house and noted the problems immediately. (Almost a week after the installation.) She was then informed that it would take three weeks to get the replacement parts and that the installer would be available a week after that to repair the damage. No one came to check that the work was completed, but they did call again, to collect the balance... Maybe try a company that is actually interested in helping you to design the kitchen, orders things correctly, checks product before installing and verifies the installation is performed correctly, without you having to manage the project yourself. read more

First the good part of doing business, Mike at the office when buying granite was very helpful, and I had good experience. The person that came to measure was really good at house....but after that was my issues. I had bought a very nice Solera Sink at the cabinet store I got new cabinets from, which they need to take with them to measure when cutting granite. This sink was in a box, also had specials drains that came with it with a sound blanket in the box....so when installers show up with granite....first off hard to communicate with, only the one guy spoke english and not that good.....they were sort of sloppy and think the seam could be a little smoother but I saw them just picking my sink off trailer they had, I even looked it over to make sure they hadn't put dings in it, just thrown around like a piece of trash in my opinion....I asked about the drains and they said they didn't have. I called the office and they said they would look for the box...well no one could find the box....my question is WHY WOULD YOU THROWN AWAY THE BOX WITH MY STUFF AND IT NOT BE MARKED AND WHEN MEASURING IS DONE THE SINK BE PUT BACK IN THE BOX AND TREATED LIKE SOMEONES PROPERTY.... so then I called cabinet store to make sure these items should have been there and they said they did have an extra but they didn't have people to drive it out but these people should since they lost it...after two days and several phone calls they finally sent a guy to get it and bring the drain (one drain it had 2 plus sound blanket).....but they didn't seem to understand in the meantime I am having to cancel the guy coming to install the drains and dishwasher back up, and reschedule him and I mentioned this but that didn't seem to be a concern...they would say they would call me right back and no calls and I had to keep on them.....bad customer service in my opinion. read more

I echo April W.'s review. I'd give zero stars if I could. We had almost the exact same experience while having a house built. Horrible customer service and it seems like their designers have no idea what options are available, what is standard in the home, or any detailed information about the products they are selling. Additionally, they offered zero assistance in putting together a cohesive design for the house, and it seemed like we were bothering her when we asked questions. It was a complete waste of 4 hours, requiring a 2nd visit. The second designer was a bit better, but we still had several items that were never brought up, and we just had to live with what was done. For something so important as your home, they should know what they are doing. I encourage everyone to STAY AWAY. read more

My family is building a home and our builder has Primera as their design center. We have had nothing but problems since we stepped foot in this design center and would never recommend anyone use Primera. The representative has not given us any ideas or guidance through the entire process and she has been nothing but rude when we ask for more information. She has told us wrong information several times and has promised that certain things are an option when in reality they are not. She doesn't seem to be knowledgeable in her field at all. I asked for spec sheets/information sheets for the floor tiles that we have in our contract and all I have gotten is a no, no, and no we dont have that or can't provide that. Since I am not able to find any information on the tiles that I am getting online, Primera should be able to provide pictures, details of the product, etc. since they are selling these products. I have worked in construction and these sheets do exists and are typically provided so that customers know exactly what they are getting and nothing is a mystery. Again, I would never recommend Primera to anyone after the rudeness, unhelpfulness, and just bad customer service that we have experience. Very frustrating. read more

We recently completed our second project with Primera, involving a kitchen, two bathroom, and laundry room remodels. Perhaps the most valuable aspect of our experience with Primera was working with account execs Cassie and Lisa who patiently work with my wife and I to select matching components (tile, cabinets, trim) for our remodeling projects, which resulted in beautiful outcomes that continue to receive "wow" comments from visiting family and friends. When working with Primera, know that they are not general contractors, so there are still coordinating activities (hiring tear out, electrical, plumbing and glass installation contractors) that the customer must handle separately. Primera does work with area contractors on a regular basis and provided us with a good suggestion on reliable general contractor to manage tear-out and finish details. There is room for improvement in getting all the details correct on orders. We had a few issues in our most recent project, but Cassie and Lisa worked with us to resolve the issues to our satisfaction. Primera provides installers for cabinets and tile installation. We had excellent experience with the cabinet installers, who arrived on-time as scheduled and performed the requested work as well as working with us to make a few adjustments that gave our cabinet installation a custom look. The tile contractors provided a great finished product too, but we did have some "no-show" days, extending a project that should have taken a few days to over a week. Despite some areas for improvement, we would recommend Primera, especially for those with extensive remodel projects that need help in selecting all of the components for extensive remodeling projects to achieve a beautiful outcome. read more
