This place has gone DOWNHILL!!! It's filthy, rundown, unfriendly, overpriced, & the last few times they have forgotten to give me items I ordered. We used to come here about twice a week for several years , but last week was our last & FINAL visit. We ordered our dinner over the phone to be ready for pick-up, the girl was super RUDE for whatever reason. She didn't care to answer my questions about some of the food and was just vicious throughout the whole thing. My friend got off the car to get the food. The way they packed it up was so messy & gross, wing sauce was spilling all over the bag. They forgot my fries again :( they forgot to give me my soda. We ordered onion rings for like $7 but all we got was 4 squished soggy clumps of BS in a box. We ordered 2 simple hamburger pattys on the side, costed us almost $5 per Patty!!! That's just insane! We also ordered a order of zuchini & for some reason they only gave us a few little ugly wet pcs of mess... what happened to my full order of zuchini?? ALSO, there was NO ranch included when clearly it was necessary if our order was supposed to consist of both wings & fried zuchini !! When we went back to fix this, the "manager" didn't even try to make it better or offer any kind of help, the little cash register girl was a jerk with an unnecessary attitude. One of my friends took me here to grab a quick bite to eat. We got seated right away, I ended up getting the garden burger with sweet potato fries. The fries were a little mushy for my liking. The garden burger was good though, minus the head of lettuce they threw on. Waitress was nice, good customer service. read more

I wish I could leave ratings for different aspects of the Cafe. If I could the food would have 5 stars- without a doubt, never fails whenever my boyfriend and I come here for breakfast, lunch, or dinner we always try something new and we have never been disappointed. That being said the service was just awful! We were seated, brought drinks- after about 20 minutes of us waiting to order I decided to just order in the front (our waitress was talking to a customer) no big deal I understand sometimes you get caught up. After eating we waited and waited another 10 minutes or so before we went to the front to pay because the waitress was on her phone. I wish I could say it was only this one waitress but every-time I've came I've had awful customer service. I suggest getting some new wait staff. read more

The Primos across from Walmart in Palmdale on 47th St East has the absolute worst beef dip sandwich. Charged us $19.00 for one cold sandwich, one onion ring order (overcooked and cool), one drink. If you want pastrami, its not bad, but go to Arby's if you want a beef dip. Beef was dry, cold, and flavorless. The aus ju was barely luke warm. Been here before but Today I regret going, first the waiter was very rude as I was talking to him in Spanish, when I ordered my food I asked if he can put the eggs separate from my food (cus I'm allergic to eggs) he said he didn't understand me to explain to him so I did. We have gone to Primo for many years, stopped going years ago because the bathroom stunk so bad, definitely severe plumbing issues. We had not been in several years but had a lot of people tell us that we should go again. We went for lunch today and the plumbing issues and stink have not been fixed. It's our last time. If a business won't fix plumbing issues in the front of the house, I can't even imagine what they find acceptable in the back of the house. Overview: good prices for good food with great service. A nice family friendly environment with a large selection of foods. I was a little leery going in because of the mixed reviews for this place, but the friends we were meeting suggested it. Despise the bad reviews, we had a great experience! The waitress was extremely attentive and friendly, refilling our drinks several times throughout the night. We ordered a Philly cheese steak sandwich and it was one of the best we've had. It was super thick with lots of delicious toppings like green peppers, mushrooms and onions. The cheese was nice and melty and the meat was savory. The burger however, was just your typical burger, but the fries were cooked really well (not to crispy or soggy) and when you ask to upgrade to chili cheese for a small added fee you not only get chili and cheese you also get a whole plate full instead of just a side. The menu had a large variety of foods to choose from, so most anyone could find something they will enjoy! read more

I feel very disrespected at this point because I come here all the time and I order the bacon western cheese burger. I drive all the way home and I open my box to see my burger and 14 fries.... I dont understand how this is acceptable. I've never got this short on fries before EVER. I called to see what they can do about my order and basically said there was nothing they can do. Worst experience ever! I went in and ordered the same thing as always off the menu. I am a bariatric patient of many years so always have ordered of children's menu which has never been an issue at this restaurant. The waitress wouldn't honor it. So I then just proceeded to order it off regular menu knowingly never going to eat but 1/3 of it. She then had an attitude and walked away. Then another woman comes and states she's the manager and loudly asks if there is s problem? I stated no. I explained how I've gone there many times ordering the same thing and was not clear why it was an issue. I told her to please put our order in and it was fine. She was getting loud stating she can't help me and that she told owner and he said no. I again stated that was okay. I asked to move to the bar area instead since I was no longer comfortable where I was at while other guests were staring. She said okay. I moved myself and some guests. Then she came to bar area to tell me I had to order an alcoholic drink to sit in there. She walked away mumbling and becoming aggressive I told her I didn't drink alcohol and that that was absurd. I was pleasantly surprised by the openness and comfort of this restaurant. The customer service was great, and my food was served hot and fast. I had a giant breakfast platter with eggs, bacon, sausage and hash browns - and the BEST French toast I've had in a very long time. The server was friendly and attentive, and the food was top-notch. They've updated a bit. It looks nicer. The food is still the same good quality. I love their gyros! Yum. But their wide variety makes them great for big groups or picky eaters. And their fried zucchini are sooo good. They make them there instead of bringing them in frozen. read more

Me and my son went there on a late Sunday morning. We knew they were going to be a bit busy and we had no problem waiting. The hostess, a young girl, took a bit to greet us and sign us in at the front as well as three more parties that had entered after us. Instead of asking if everyone was checked in and who was here first, she immediately assumed that the party that entered after us was first and took down their information. I had to interject and say that we were actually first. Then when it was our time to be called, she again tried to seat the couple that came in after us but they let her know that it was us that needed to be seated first. She seated us give us our menus and we said thank you and waited for our server. We waited 20 minutes as we watched the three tables that got sat after us get their drinks and orders in. I understand they were busy, we waited patiently. As someone who manages and works in customer service as well, communication with your customers is HUGE. It would have been nice if our server who I, again, understand was busy, came over and at least said Hi to us or even acknowledged that we were there. We would have gladly waited if she said, "Hey guys, sorry I'm really busy but I'll be right with you". But we got nothing. I'm not one to complain or write bad reviews but I feel they really need to step up their customer service. Just a simple "Hi, I'll be right with you" would have made a world of difference. As we were leaving I approached a server and asked her who was serving our area and to let that server know we were leaving as we were failed to be acknowledged. She apologized and said have a good day. No attempt to make it right. In my store, even on busy days, where we have over an hour wait, I would do everything I could to make sure that customer doesn't leave. Even going out of my way to take care of them myself. I hope management reads this and encourages their staff to acknowledge every customer as if it's their only one. read more

They offer quite a variety of foods on their menu. Not all are winners of course, but my favorite has to be the country fried steak, breakfast or dinner versions (both offer different sides) with a side of biscuits and gravy. Though the gravy tends to have more pepper than id prefer, i practically order these every time as they are delicious regardless. Dining here is a delightful experience and their bar area and fireplace offer a pleasant change of atmosphere compared to the norm. Of all the complaints i have, of which there are few, my biggest issue can be found with their menu. The variety is overwhelming. However there are some items i have tried that I cant see being a hit with anyone, or chicken alfredo which to me seems a no brainer arrived very under seasoned. I belive Primos could find success if they focused a bit more on their more popular dishes and cut out the more unpopular ones. This being said, if I had to choose between here and another diner, id dine here. read more

One of my late night favorites. Being that most everything "closes up shop" here in Lancaster at the tender hour of 9, you really don't have too many choices for a sit-down place to eat late in the evening. It is a welcomed alternative to Deny's and Carrow's, the only other two late night eateries. Very relaxed feel, the kind of place you go with friends and most likely frequent often. They do have a full bar with separate bar seating as well as a patio and a hookah menu. It's nice that they offer Hookah, and it's reasonably priced - $15 for a blend - but truthfully, it's not that smooth, I've had better. The dining section is pretty large, and filled with a mix of high school friends, families, church groups, coworkers and every other combination of people you could think about. Don't worry though, things rarely get out of control ;) You can order at the front counter and seat yourself during the afternoon, but order at your table and are seated by a waitress in the evening. Their menu is epic. It has everything from hot wings, to Mexican, traditional burgers and fries, steak, sandwiches, pasta and more. Their portions are pretty huge, and their prices aren't bad either, so you really feel like you are least getting your money's worth. A few of my favorites: Their quesadilla, tuna melt, bacon cheeseburger, and pastrami fries (amazing.....and amazingly bad for your health as well). Their servers are really nice, and tend to remember repeat customers. The bartenders are exceptional as well. They recognize me right away, and remember my drink, which makes me happy because then I don't have to dig in my purse for my ID. Though this could also be a sign that I am in the beginning stages of being an alcoholic. Either way, great place for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and late night adventures. Enjoy! read more

Food is good but they recently Dis-banned Military Discounts :-O so I feel that knowing they are near a great deal of Military families as well as LAW Enforcement & Fire personnel they loose cool points as well as my respect and Edwards Air Force base, Plant 42, and Naval Air station China Lake. On the wait staff t-shirts it says "come for the food, stay for the hookah". That couldn't be more true, the food sucks, but the hookah was worth coming for...once. I was brought here by a review that said "best wings in AV". Either AV has really bad chicken wings or this place sucks at making them. I brought a bunch of a co-workers and was apologetic after getting burnt wings (all 3 orders). The zucchini fries came next and they were also over-fried. We actually started removing the breading just so we could enjoy something not burnt. For dinner I ordered the chicken skewers with humus and a greek salad. Unfortunately the humus was watered down and had no flavor, the greek salad was drowning in bad dressing and the chicken was a '7'. The beer choices were good, however, and I had the hef. The savior of this night was the hookah rentals and the live jazz. We went out to their patio area, turned on a baseball game on the flatscreen, smoked the hookah (well I didn't, but my co-workers did) and drank a pitcher of beer. Later on the live jazz started up and it was easy to hear them from the patio. It was a good time but because of the bad food, I will probably never come back here. P.S. My younger brother and two of his friends, all have special needs, recently had dinner here and the staff were great with them. Often he tells me stories of how they get treated by places out here and it's very sad. Their waiter helped them spilt and pay the bill as well as didn't charge one of them for her margarita. She had never had one before and just wanted to try it and didn't end up liking it. I was so happy to hear that they had a great experience here when I picked them up. Thanks Yelpers! My family really liked this place. It only took me a few minutes on the iPad to zero in on this place as a good bet. As reviewed, the portions were large and the price was right. I had a spicy polish sausage breakfast burrito and a glass of hefeweizen for dinner at under $8. My wife had the Philly cheesesteak and enjoyed it. Daughter 1 gave the steak quesadilla high marks, D2 ordered the tuna melt and it came on this thick cut sourdough bread that she raved about, and D3 ordered the two eggs with sausage and french toast and loved it all. The place has a good bar and several TVs to watch a game, and the restaurant was nicely busy with families and groups having a nice time. It's a real pleasant place. We do the run to Mammoth frequently and were coming back to Primo. read more

Since I am unable to reply to the comment on my review, i am 1 not trolling and do not have the wrong primo. I never mentioned a male server. The female servers have black hair and could easily have had their hair fall out onto my French toast, it was on top of it, it's not an impossible thing. 2. There were 2 waitresses on staff, one was holding food and socializing with a group while doing so, who is the person who ended up being our waitress. The other, may or may not have been on a break but was also speaking with another customer. I do not appreciate because I wrote a negative reviews being called a troll or lying about what I have found. I have been a loyal customer for over 10 years and have loved this cafe, this particular visit happened to be awful. I will make sure to not come back and to tell everyone what horrible management or ownership, or whomever patsy c. Is representing it is and recommend they go to a different location. It's not professional to attack people based on a review written with honesty. I did not remove the original it was an updated review and yelp took the other one down patsy. Tryed for the first time. Liked the atmosphere and the food was good and well priced. But the service was quite lacking. Our server Jmarie was not very friendly and seemed to be trying to rush us out. We were nearly halfway she gave us the check and a togo box. No mention of if we wanted disert. Again, I went for the Vegetable Panini, this time adding to our waitress that I didn't want it burnt. It was surprisingly much more appetizing and the chips were an improvement as well. It was okay, nothing amazing. The wings on the other hand, it's what my friends keep going back for. It includes a generous portion of wings, generously slathered in the sauce you choose, and they came with a generous portion of zucchini fries and french fries. They rave that it's even better than Buffalo Wild Wings, Wing Stop, and Wing Spot. They even dare say it's the best wings in the A.V. Surprisingly comprehensive menu! They've got you covered if you're craving Mexican, home-style American, or breakfast. On this alone I'd maybe rate it a low 3 star. However, service is not great either. On the weekends this place is very slow and the service is unresponsive. Each time (4 out of 5 times I came with a group on weekends) you'll have to wait at least 10 minutes between each event (getting menu, ordering drinks, getting drinks, ordering food, getting food). It seems a little better on the weekdays when they are less busy. The lackluster service knocks this place down to 2 stars, but overall a OK breakfast place if you have the time. read more

I am so disappointed in this place I won't be coming back. I ordered coffee and a cheese and avocado omelette. My waitress brought coffee but never once came to refill my cup. The "cheese" omelette was some kind of egg product cooked in too much oil. The cheese part of the cheese omelette was two pieces of American cheese on top of the egg product. NO CHEESE INSIDE! We were there on Sunday, on our way to lake Tahoe. Came in for breakfast. It looks inside pretty much like Denny's Diner, they have booths and tables in the middle, and you pay as you leave at cashier's desk. And I'd say the menu and the conception is a bit similar too. But the selection is more variable and interesting. Like they serve Gyro with lamb for instance, Mexican delights - quesadillas, burritos, tacos, nachos, even some seafood after 4pm and other zests. Breakfast is served all day and the portions are pretty huge. They have beer selection, few wines, including even sparkling, cocktails. Also - happy hour. We took Chicken quesadilla, Gyro sandwich with lamb in pita and Belgian Waffle Breakfast with bacon, eggs and sausages. It all was delicious. Nothing extravagant or sophisticated, but good quality and great taste. Service was attentive and fast, all was brought very timely. I would have given this Primo's a 4 or 5 star review, before it added the cafe part. Before the remodel it was your typical walk-up to order, cheesy enchilada guilty pleasure Primo's. Why do people always change a good thing. The remodel was just ok, but what they should have used the money for was the food. It seems now that they skimped on good food for some nice menus and a waiting restaurant. They didn't get rid of the beverage bar that is open and right in the middle of the restaurant, it still looks like a serve yourself drink island. I'm sure the waitresses are especially tired of telling people it's not get it yourself, because it happened to us. We ordered and my boyfriend took one bite of his pastrami sandwich and sent it back. He said it tasted like turkey pastrami and asked if he could change it to chili fries. The waitresses were super nice and accommodating and that is why the 2 stars. We were in a hurry for the movies so we boxed it and took it home. The next day he went to heat it up and was about to throw the microwave away because he thought it was broken. The cheese on the chili fries was not melting. It was a big glob of disgusting oil fake processed gloop. I can't even call it cheese. And the 90's called, they want their crappy restaurant back. read more
