When we stay at Rivera Resort we always have breakfast here before taking the Skyliner to the parks and take a break in between for a swim and eat here again. Ambiance Modern, clean and lots of tables. Customer Service Always great, front of house manager just stopped by to say hello and asked if we need anything. Breakfast Mickey Waffles, eggs, bacon and milk. Yes ordered kids meal. My only concern is why are the eggs salty? I can salt my eggs as needed. Lunch Beef bolognese over pasta. Very good. Grilled chicken sandwich on focaccia. Chicken so moist and tender. Loved it.
Hands down the best quick service food in a Disney Resort. It's a reason why I'd choose coming back to the Riviera solely because I know the quick service food is food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. All 3 meals we had here were 10/10. Breakfast we ordered on the app for pick up so we can eat it on our balcony, totally recommend. Mickey Waffles while watching the Skyliner? 100/10 experience My husbands chicken sandwich was amazing and my veggie pita was so so so delicious. We did dinner as well for pick up so we can eat our dinner on the balcony and watch the Epcot fireworks. The pizza was soo good. I miss it. They also have late night snacking hours too. It's beautiful and clean inside and the cast members are always happy and helpful! Dreaming of my next Disney trip!!
We stayed at the Riviera Resort and this was a very convenient and good quick-service to eat at! There are plenty of tables and you can always bring food back up to the room which what we did. Mobile order is available to use here too which worked out great! There is a grab and go selection if needed for already made food items. For breakfast, we tried the croque madam and the blueberry lemon pancakes. The portions were pretty good for the affordable price. The blueberry lemon pancakes were good. I kind of was expecting it to be more eggy which I actually prefer, but it was not. It had more of that cakey pancake texture but very moist. For dinner, we tried the margherita pizza, beef bolognese pasta, meatballs, and parmesan herbed fries. Everything was fairly good but not amazing. The margherita pizza was a bit bland according to my husband. The beef bolognese pasta was very hearty and had good flavor but maybe just a tad too salty for me. The parmesan herbed fries were very bland even with the Parmesan cheese on top. That's the only thing I regret ordering. Overall, a solid place to eat if you need something for the fam in a pinch. The portions are great for the price. They're open early for breakfast and close at 10 pm for dinner. And it's conveniently located on the ground level next to the pools.
Primo Piatto is located in The Riviera resort. We usually eat here a few times every trip since it's next door to Caribbean Beach. The citrus-glazed chicken strips are new and I really enjoyed them. They start with the standard chicken tenders, but are drizzled with this really nice citrus glaze and oranges and it wasn't so much that the chicken became soggy. If it had a little heat, which they don't, they would remind me of the orange chicken you get at Chinese restaurants. We found them to be enjoyable and something different. We always love the pepperoni and margherita flatbread. It's consistenly flavorful and cheesy with a nice fresh and acidic touch from the tomatoes. We get this time and time again and are never disappointed. I did give the Croque Monsieur a try. It was ok. I wanted to love this and I think I would have if it would have been hotter. I'm sure mine had to sit while waiting on my husband's pizza to cook. The bread was crispy, despite the toppings. It was a standard croque and I did enjoy it. The side salad was actually the perfect amount. It looks so small in the container, but was a decent portioned side salad. The lettuce is crisp, the tomatoes are fresh, the carrots add a little crunch and the champagne vinaigrette is so tasty. I would buy it if I could. It's the perfect light and flavorful dressing for this salad. I also tried the kid's pasta with tomato sauce because I wasn't very hungry one night. The pasta was a little overcooked. I prefer these type of noodles to be al dente. The sauce didn't add much flavor. After adding some Parmesan and a pinch of salt, it was better. If you want quality, order their bolognese and just take the leftovers back to your resort.
Very cute and French atmosphere, really cozy especially since it rained bc it's FL ya know? Food was honestly better that I thought. My wife and I got the breakfast pizza which was better than the croque madame since the sandwich was a little dry and hard to cut through to eat. Servers and staff were really kind and fun, helpful. Would come here again if I stayed here but maybe would go somewhere else for breakfast
***DIABETIC REVIEW*** I have Type 2 Diabetes, this is my review... I wanted to LOVE this restaurant - but what I found out is most of the food, if not all of the food, is all pre-packaged and just heated up here at this place. I inquired about the tomato soup and sugar content, spoke with the chef, since Disney Employees don't have access to that information, and he pulled up the label on his phone. It was obviously already pre-made and the sugar was out of control...so I had to pass. I went for the meatballs instead. The sauce was questionable, but the meatballs were a good option for me. I think I got about 6 of them...they were large enough to satiate me until another meal, but there weren't a ton of options here for diabetics. In fact, don't even ask about desserts - nothing here is sugar free or no sugar added. Unfortunately it's not the best option. The restaurant itself is super busy most of the time. There are plenty of seats, but know you can mobile order and come to pick up your food when it's ready. All the condiments you could want are here and you can grab complimentary water from the freestyle Coke machines. Use your refillable mug here too.
Located in the beautiful Riviera Resort, Primo Piatto is a beautiful and cozy quick dining spot that can be a nice place to meet up with a friend or rest after a busy day at the Disney parks. Seating was a bit tight as it was storming during our visit for breakfast, but staff quickly made us feel comfortable with their warm personalities and excellent service. We ordered two items, the breakfast pizza and the croque madame. The breakfast pizza is a must order item for breakfast, the initial aroma had us salivating and ready to dig in. The croque was still delicious, but I found it to be a bit hard to cut into and I think slightly smaller pieces of toast would allow for some of the other flavors to stand out more. However, the gyuere cheese and white wine sauce were big flavors as part of the dish that we loved!
We had high hopes for primo piatto as our last visit was marvelous. It turns out this visit was not as marvelous. Previously I had stated that their bacon cheese burger was one of the best I've ever had. This time I ordered it, just like I did last time, specifying an egg allergy. Sure enough they did make me the burger I ordered , but there were a few issues: 1. No bacon 2. The roll was over toasted. 3. The cheese has little flavor. Last time it was much tastier. 4. Toppings were minimal and tasteless The burger patty itself was very very good and the fries were also excellent. The vegetable pita was fine, my dining partner said the vegetables were spicy but fresh, but that the pita also has zero flavor. They also have a new soda system with special paper cups. You only get 3 soda fills in an hour. That's ok with me, but for those who have already spent potentially $10,000 dollars to be at a Disney Resort this soda-micro-management may appear petty. We are pass holders so while a surprise it did not bother us. I do think Primo Piatto still is a nice little fast service location but not as effective as it was on our first visit. If you're staying at the Riviera or at another nearby Disney Resort you may want to eat here, but I would go out of my way to come back here again!
As far as quick service goes in Disney resorts, this is one of the best options! The menu is small but all choices are delicious, I got the burger and my husband the beef bolognese, and neither disappointed. Price point is very inexpensive and a real plus is waiters brining the food to you and having real plates and silverware which is rare for quick service.
The nicest interior of any quick service on Disney property. It always seems to be busy so definitely recommend mobile order. Love that you can choose a side with our sandwich and we tried both the soup and salad which were delicious. The sandwiches were both high quality and we would absolutely go back again.
Decided to order quick order for primo piatto and then decided to go ahead and have a seat at one of the tables that they offer. The dining area is Italian inspired which includes the soft music. The ambiance is relaxing and upscaled The Croque Monsieur and grilled chicken sandwich with sides like parmesan fries or tomato soup are a staple of the restaurant. Worth a visit if visiting the Disney Riviera. read more
Love that you can mobile order here and that if you order to eat there you get real plates and silverware. I got the Italian with Parmesan fries. It was a solid sandwich, kinda reminds me of Jersey mikes. The fries were good but lacked Parmesan. They just had some Parmesan poured in one spot on top. Service was good and lots of seating. read more

This is one of the best quick service restaurants I've been to at a Disney resort, and I've been coming to Disney for the last 15 years. Today looked a bit different for me- I was in town for my mother's birthday, and I had a medical school exam coming up. I ended up spending 10 hours here studying in between the restaurant and the Voyager's lounge upstairs connected to Le Petit Cafe. The breakfast was incredible, and the lunch was really good as well. The dining area is inviting, bright, and the service is extremely fast. One of the cleanest quick services at Disney as well. read more

The best quick service restaurant in Disney. We were staying at the Caribbean Beach Resort so it was a quick walk over. It's on the first floor of the Riviera Resort (the floor under the lobby). There isn't a lot of tables, so I bet this is a mainly grab and go place. That being said, at 5:30 p.m. we were able to grab the last table. I got the Ahi Tuna salad and it was amazing (future Christina, get it again). We got the kids chicken tenders and a pizza and both were actually delicious. I bet their pizzas are very good and would consider getting a bigger one for the family next time. The french fries were very good as well. My husband got a cheeseburger and he liked it. I was just shocked by the options and how fresh tasting it all was. I'm used to Disney food being a notch below what I would expect anywhere else, but this place really surprised me. I enjoy the French theming, which is why the menu is different than your standard Disney fare. read more

I can confidently say this is the best of the Disney resort QS restaurants. We stopped in for breakfast on our way to Epcot along the skyliner. Easy to access off the skyliner without having to navigate too far into the resort. I opted to try the chocolate stuff cronut and I couldn't pass up the chocolate chunk banana bread everyone has raved about. Was it overhyped, yes. Was it good, yes. Would I get it again, probably not, only because I can make it just as good myself, but I had to kill the curiosity on that. My husband and son had the Primo Platter and the croque monsieur. The scrambled eggs and sausage in the platter is the exact same as they use in all other locations, but the mascrapone polenta was a nice touch with the bread and little greens it was accompanied with. Each was 12.99 and that was a very fair price for quality and quantity. Would definitely be a QS stop we'd make again! read more

One of the nicest quick service restaurants on property. I was happy to finally eat here. It reminds me a lot of the old be our guest quick service lunch. You order at a register (or mobile order to go) and then grab a table. They bring the food out to you in real plates and silverware. The sandwich I had was good but could have used more ham. It was mostly bread and cheese. The garlic aioli was the best part. My mom and sister shared a burger and enjoyed it. They have a lot of unique offerings compared to other resorts and it was a laid back atmosphere. The fries I was expecting more flavor from. Can't wait to come back and try other things. read more

4 for the primo piatto plate and blue berries pancakes Other food - not as good. The kids menu have sliced apples, it was not fresh, just packaged nasty apples Coffee was not good either Service was excellent and the staff were great Ambience - it's at a resort with outdoors tables and chairs as well as large chess game and other games. I came back to Primo Piatto because it is usually my go to for the best traditional breakfast on property. I love the atmosphere, the sustainability touches like real plates and cloth napkins, and the cast here is typically top notch. Today, though, was a miss. I ordered the breakfast platter and sat down with my coffee while waiting, which is normally part of the relaxed experience. Then the pager went off and startled me (they normally bring the food to your table), so I headed to the counter only to find no one there. Eventually someone came up, handed me the food, and told me I would need to use plastic utensils from the café, which was a surprise given that every other table had real silverware and cloth napkins. I grabbed plastic forks and tried to pull napkins from the tower, which was so overfilled they came out shredded. By the time I made it back to the table with my sad wad of napkin confetti, the polenta was cold and I am not convinced the bacon or sausage was ever hot. What made it more frustrating was seeing other tables before and after me being given proper napkins and silverware, so I am not sure what happened here. This went from one of my favorite breakfast experiences to a rough start to the day very quickly. I will still come back because this place is usually excellent, but consistency around service flow and making sure dine in guests get the full experience they are known for would go a long way. read more

Nice Mediterranean atmosphere, comfortable seating, Italian theme music and super friendly staff. They have nice pastries/baked goodies, try the chocolate croissant. Reasonable priced menu items for being in Disney with a good selection for breakfast and lunch. They have some nice coffee choices as well for less than Starbucks. Nice portions and reasonably priced. My family said the pancakes are delicious! If on or around the property I recommend trying something! You can even just stop for a midday pastry! read more
Quaint little location for breakfast, specifically continental breakfast. I definitely recommend the croque Madame, it is innovative and delicious. I recommend ordering for the register rather than mobile order. We mobiled order from our table but it was quite a delayed experience. Presentation of the food in their doggy bag is not so elegant, as if quality is not there. Mobile order took about thirty minutes and those that ordered from register were getting food faster. The next day, we ordered from the register and had a better experience. We were given proper utensils and everything. Now, it is a little expensive in my opinion but it is delicious and exquisite and I would come back to eat here again if I stayed here again. I would definitely order from the register and then sit with the pager so that they bring it to you. The food is delicious and properly warm. read more

This is my favorite quick service on Disney property. I usually get the grilled vegetable skewer. It is really good. 5 out of 5. The tomato soup, croque monsier, and pumpkin cheese cake are also good. The bacon cheese burger is just okay. The restaurant itself is tiny but cute. It is very well lit and clean. I definitely recommend for a quick bite read more
Mobile order! It's the quick service place in Riviera Resort. They have the newer soda machines, the ones with 30+ different flavor & soda combinations. The pizza tastes really good. Thin crust. Wood fired style. Tiramisu (contains alcohol) - standard. Side salad - standard. I think it's one of the best in-resort quick service places. read more
