I would definitely recommend them. I brought my SUV in to have a receiver hitch put on for our bike rack. It looked great and they did a professional job. A small thing is to make sure that they quote the correct pricing and errors are not showing on the dash before you leave. There were some nuts that he had forgotten to put on but could not take the bumper off due to having to get more plastic rivets, and did let me know that I would have to bring my car back. I'm glad he was honest about that. My car was very safe to drive over the weekend. I am glad that he was honest and let me know. Again I would highly recommend them. I am very happy. read more

We were in Savannah for a week and Primo did three projects on our fifth wheel. After our initial phone message, they were responsive, on time, and communicated well. Our refrigerator was not working on the propane side. They diagnosed a problem with the propane supply hose and returned the next day to replace it. They also installed gutter extensions so that our air conditioner run off doesn't drip on the side of the coach. There ended up being an issue with the third project, but they handled it very professionally. The leading-edge of our roof membrane was not originally installed properly and the wind was starting to get underneath it and was pulling it back from the front cap of the fifth wheel-- potentially a huge problem. Fortunately, Primo noticed this when installing the gutter extensions. I brought the rig into their shop to have it fixed and they basically reattached the roof membrane as it was. When we arrived in Charleston after leaving Savannah, I rechecked the roof and found it again separating from the front cap, as it was before the repair was done. Bummer. Primo offered to drive up and redo the repair--a five hour round trip! Not wanting them to have to do this, I decided to fix it myself with some advice from Primo on how to do it differently. They walked me through the process, and then refunded the entire cost of the original repair. I would file this experience under "stuff happens." It would have been nice if the original fix had held, but I don't think their guys fully understood the nature of the problem and what was needed to prevent it; my drive to Charleston made the problem clear. It wasn't fun doing the repair in the summer heat, but I now feel more comfortable that it will hold in the long term and am happy that I essentially got paid for doing the work because of Primo's willingness to stand behind their work. I would not hesitate to do business with them again. read more

If I could leave zero stars I would. Absolutely horrible communication. After myriad phone calls and emails over a period of two weeks, Tracy replied to an email asking my location and did not acknowledge any of the RV issues I described. I replied to her and gave her some options so that I could accommodate THEM to service my RV. If it was a matter of going to them rather than them coming to me, I was willing to do it. Since then, not ONE SINGLE REPLY OR RETURNED CALL. This is loathsome customer service. I have been bluntly ignored and do not appreciate it. If you don't have time, bandwidth, or any other reason not to return my calls or reply to my emails, then politely let me know so I can find someone else to hire. It seems Primo and a couple of other RV repair shops in this area behave like they don't need the customers. I will be referring this business to the BBB. read more

Amazing! That's what they are. Tracey has been awesome to work with and has always been there to answer my every question. We were on vacation and our RV was damaged to the point of being totaled out. My insurance company has taken eight months to resolve our claim and has yet to pay primo for their services. Regardless of that, Trecy has always been pleasant, kind, professional and so easy to work with. If you ever need anything for your RV you need to call Primo. On June 28, 2018 we had a catastrophic malfunction of one of our slides. It was of course after hours and we were not able to get the slide back in all the way. We found Primo Specialty from a google search. Shannon answered the call at 9:30 at night. OMG a live person! She assured us that they could handle the job. The next morning Tracy called. We sent her pictures. She advised us not to get on the highway as our slide was not in all the way and there was a concern for the hydraulics. We were 100 miles away. She gave us directions for back roads. When we arrived it was all hands on deck. They stopped their current work to assess ours! WOW!!! It was a major job that took about a month to resolve. They kept us informed, they walked us through the insurance process, and best of all they explained in detail the issue with the slide and fixed it beautifully. We are full timers and were basically homeless during this time. As difficult as this situation was we were glad to have found Primo Specialty. They are a class act !
