It is very clean, has cement slabs, pull through and back in sites, lazy river/heated pool, gym, lake, dog park, golf cart rental, plenty of land to walk or ride a bike, close to restaurants, tennis/pickleball, game room/arcade, and weekly events. We came to explore Savannah from but I can see where people never leave the resort. We have traveled from CA to GA and this may be the nicest we have ever stayed at. We really enjoy our time visiting this property. The sites are level and the grounds are clean but need some mowing and hedge trimming. However on this trip (4 nights) the WiFi was almost non existent (we were connected to the WiFi with about 2 hours of connectivity to the internet during our stay) and there was a camper near by that kenneled their labs outside their camper all the time and dogs do what they do during the night hours ((BARKING at every sound) we are pretty disappointed with this visit. We've decided to look for other camping areas in the future that have reliable service when in the Savannah area. read more

Everything is amazing about this resort. Big rig friendly. Nice clean large sites. Resort has cabins/tiny houses as well. Multiple pools with splash and play area for kids. Poolside restaurant and bar. Resort also has a Lakeside Restaurant with a great menu and staff. Nice lake view from Lakeview sites. Close to everything. Historic Savannah with a shuttle service provided. Tybee island close by, other historic sites such as Pulaski and McAllister civil war sites. So much to do and see near by. This is our favorite RV resort near Savannah. It is very family friendly for young kids with a playground, splash pad, and lazy river. Adults will enjoy the pool and hot tub as well as pool bar. They often have live music. The spots vary from paved to gravel, back ins and pull throughs. There are also some lake front spots. We prefer to be near the pools because the lake spots are far from the action (which may be preferred for some!) The showers and bathrooms are acceptable but could be cleaned more often. The check in process is a bit awkward especially if you need propane. You have to have an appointment for propane. When you arrive, you check in at the main office. Then they ask you to walk over to another office to check in for your propane which is annoying and unnecessary. They can't just call over to the other office for a customer?! Because once you get to the propane area they just say ok meet you at the propane tank! So now your walked around and waisted 5-8min of your time standing in line etc for what? Poor process. Otherwise we do encourage time spent here as well as the proximity to downtown Savannah and will continue to visit here. read more

So, here is the good, the bad and the ugly of our stay. We were there 9/25-9/29. The resort was just off I-95, very accessible (even with current road construction). The entrance in was very attractive and the welcome (check-in) center was very nice. The customer service experience during check in was great. We asked to pay for an upgrade and they were very accommodating. One thing we found a little worrisome was a memo handed to us at check in from the Savannah Police Department basically warning us to protect our property from potential theft. I don't recall ever being at any other campground where we got a notice like this at check-in. We expected an escort to our site as we had read reviews that mentioned this was a standard service, however, we did not get one. The security gate was open and to our knowledge was never shut, even late at night , which given the forewarning from the police department, I would think this would be a priority of the property manager to ensure security was in place. We found our site relatively easy. The electrical pedestal was compromised, so we were a bit hesitant to use but our surge protector gave us the green light to plug up. However, we did have to get maintenance to replace the 120 outlet. The site itself was long but very narrow. We thought the site layout wasn't the best as our picnic table sat opposite our neighbors sewer line. Not appealing! There was a huge ant infestation. We had to make a run to Walmart for ant spray just to be able to sit outside. We opted to try the Lakehouse, the onsite restaurant, for dinner. We both chose the fried shrimp dinner. It was okay. Our waitress, Sheila, was very sweet and attentive. We were woken up several times each night due to loud people, cars riding through playing loud music as late as 2:30 am and barking dogs. We enjoyed the lazy river however we wondered why we were issued pool wristbands but there was no accountability. There were many not wearing them. We read on the website that the resort didn't offer day passes to use the amenities but there was obviously people there Saturday that were not camping. Again, no one to monitor or question anyone. The lazy river appeared clean, however the landscaping in the area needed attention, many of the inner tubes were flat and there were a couple of broken chairs. One thing that could have really enhanced the experience was a little music. The pool bar didn't open until noon each day. The drink offerings were pricey but good. We did order hotdogs one day. We expected a little more for $6 each than a microwaved hotdog on a stale bun. Needless to say, we didn't order again. Savannah Tours did a daily shuttle from the park around 9:30 am, returning between 4:30-5 each afternoon, eliminating the need to drive into downtown. The shuttle included their hop on - hop off site seeing tour which was a nice option. The market on site offered some food items, ice, ice cream, drinks and souvenirs. There was a laundry facility on site. If I remember right, 6 washers and dryers at $2.25 each. Two units were out of order. There was also an ironing board and iron if needed. The park had a few organized activities, most being for the kiddos. There wasn't much staff presence and most of the ones we did encounter showed no enthusiasm. The overall experience certainly didn't measure up to other rv resorts we have visited before. read more

Creekfire RV Resort is truly wonderful. It is budget friendly, but feels luxurious! Each site is very private, and the entire park is very clean. The staff(especially Susan) is gracious and helpful too. In addition, the resort offers a lazy river, a sparkling clean pool, and a splash pad. It offers a restaurant on site, and the opportunity to purchase food and drinks poolside. If you skip this park, you'll really miss out. It's just marvelous! read more

This used to be a nice/safe resort, but seems to be going downhill. The restrooms have been a mess, trash everywhere. The pool furniture is ripped and dirty. I have seen broken chairs. Pool gats randomly lock during the day. The landscaping is barely maintained. You never know when the pool bar will be open. It was closed over the holiday weekend which is a colossal failure to me. There is little to no security. Vagrants can just walk in and can walk your site at any time. A neighbor had a bicycle stolen at 3:48 am. This would be a simple fix as many of the camp issues. Unfortunately this one will be on our last resort list in the future. read more

Absolutely the best RV Park experience we have had. We rolled in without a reservation, before check-in time. But the friendly staff welcomed us and put us in a beautiful lakeside spot. Then we discovered the amenities, including a 1-mile nature trail around the lake, a heated pool, lazy river, hot tub, billiard tables, darts, ping pong, basketball, and volleyball courts. Nice sites but a disappointment for a "resort". Activities listed for the weekend did not happen and the snack bar area is a joke. Only had hotdogs on a gas station type heater. The lazy river was nice but alot of the floats needed to be inflated. There was no attendant ensuring everyone in pool area were really campers. Didn't see alot of wrist bands especially in the lazy river. Security gates were not working so who knows who had access to the area. There was also an unruly large group of people drinking & eating in the pool as if it were their personal pool. Loudly playing their own music with no consideration for little kids with their language. Again no attendant from CreekFire Resort monitoring the area. We had looked forward to this trip with the kids but it was not what we were hoping. Definitely would not recommend and will not return. Has potential but not managed very well. read more

Everything about this RV park was awesome. The pool, the kids pool, the lazy river, the space between RVs and even the tennis and Pickleball courts. The laundry, rooms and fitness area were large enough. They even have an alligator in the pond that acts like a puppy. I still don't trust alligators, though. Just finished a 3 week stay at Creekfire and could not be happier with this place. Plenty to do here and very kid and pet friendly.

Not a safe camp ground . Property gate isn't working and we were told hasn't worked for years . The notice received at check in about locking up valuables due to theft should have been my second red flag after the inoperable gate which hasn't worked for 4 years according to the general manager, not to mention other reviews about items being stolen. Camp ground management isn't very responsive with concerns/issues and was unhelpful and rude . The few staff members i had interactions with (non-management) were great but the General Manager Susie was awful to say the least. There were issues with our stay and it was left in another review and the social media person responded and proceeded to lie . It's one thing to have bad service and own up to it but lying on social media is very bad business . You drop the ball own up to it and use it to better your future guest experience but that can't happen when you can't be honest as a business . The campground should take all the money they make and put it towards making the property safe and customer service training for management especially for general manager/social media personnel. No excuse why a gate hasn't been fixed after being inoperable for 4 years. Can take guests money but can't use it to make it a safe environment. This park should do some self reflection on all the criticism they have received lately about guests being unsafe . read more

This place has everything. There is a market for small items you may have forgotten, a conveniently placed bar in-between all the pools, and gated small depth pools. This is the perfect vacation spot for families with kids under 12. We spent our days by the pool and we were close enough to Savannah and Tybee to go exploring. The Lakehouse restaurant is only open for part of the week. It is not the prettiest of presentations but it was really good. The only negative I had was that the bar says it is open until 8 pm, but it closed early most nights we were there. You can rent a golf cart, if you want. It is a large place, so be prepared to walk. read more

We have stayed here many times and liked it. The ownership changed in 2023 and it has gone downhill since then. Dog leash rules are not being enforced and dogs are running around off leash. Bad news if you have a reactive dog or are afraid of dogs. There is dog poop all over the place and I stepped in it twice, so dog owners don't care to pick up after their dogs. Ordered a burger at the restaurant and it was overcooked and dry. Kids are speeding around on Hoverboards and electric scooters from all directions. These should not be allowed in an RV park. The new owners are running CreekFire poorly. read more

This place has gone downhill since last year! Thebplantingsnlook awful and they need to weed and mulch the whole property! They only have 6 washing machines and 6 dryers and some do not work! This is a really nice campground. We stayed here a few years ago while headed to Florida. Real close to interstate #95. And very easy to find. So today we stopped again and even though they were closed my husband was able to call and the lady was so nice on the phone. She got us a spot and because the weather forecast is for black ice she gave us a discount. We forgot what her name was but she said she was from Maine. She was so helpful. We got a spot and could get hooked up to electric. I would highly recommend this campground. I would love to come here in warm weather so I could ride the lazy river. Because she was so nice I will pray that God really blesses this business. It's how you treat your customers that counts. Thank you so much. read more

Quiet, set off the main road, large campground with huge paved drive through sites! Beautifully landscaped and clean campground! Pool and hot tub with outside grill area, playground, and basketball/tennis courts and bathhouses all conveniently located in the center of the campground for all to use! Passed through Savannah three times in the last month. I went all the way down to Daytona Beach through Saint Augustine and Kingsland Georgia the first trip so I've seen a decent range of places now. You can tell someone takes pride in this resort. Also, ate at the restaurant on a Saturday night, it was terrific. I would recommend this place to just about anyone. read more

I wish I could give this place more stars. If you have family of all ages, this is the place for you. I've been RVing with my family since the 1960s so I can state unequivocally that this is, hands down, THE BEST RV PARK EVER! The restaurant was closed when we stayed, but everything else was open. So, what make this place sooooo great. Where do I start. We checked in early and without any issues. The Market and exercise spaces are open early and until 8 PM. The laundry room was clean and fully functioning, takes coin or credit cards. Next to the laundry is a covered area with games such as pool, etc. No freeway noise. The grounds are meticulously kept. Trash is picked up from your site twice a day. Sites are graciously sized with a swath of green, some shrubs, and a picnic table in between. Nice tot lot. The adult pool is lovely and warm, as are the 2 hot tubs. Adjacent to the adult pool is a kiddie pool with a slide and some spray fountains, a splash pad across the way looks like it might have designed by the folks at Nickelodeon, the Lazy River was wonderful, and the adjacent bar with snacks was a nice addition. The toddlers in our family would have happily spent the day in the water or at the tot lot. I imagine this place is really busy all summer and on holidays. But it was quiet during our stay: busy and pretty full, but quiet! The park is a short drive to old Savannah and some wonderful restaurants. If you plan to visit Savannah, this is your place to stay! read more

This review is about the campground not the "Karen's" whining about masks.. I feel that if you give a business an unfair review because they do not take COVID seriously then you are being very unfair to that business.. The campground is immaculate. Very nice spaces.. maybe slightly close to each other but not a big deal. Great TV reception and Wifi was good in our spot. The restaurant was delicious, but it has changing hours so check the Facecrack to keep up to date on it.. they have a great looking pool, hot tub , kid swim area and lazy River but it was too cold during our stay to enjoy it. They have all kinds of outdoor games near the pool for the kids and even made homemade bird feeders when we were there!! We love this place... especially since I wasn't bombarded about not wearing a MASK!! read more

Sites were nice. Pool, store and lazy river were beautifully done. Overall beautiful property but has some growing pains. Not sure we would come back. Bathrooms were gross. No one is cleaning or monitoring and restocking through the day. I agree with someone else's post about trash cans overflowing. Pool and lazy river are not monitored. Everyone in the lazy river claimed all the tubes and brought them back to their chairs for the day so 75% of the lazy river was people walking it without tubes. read more

Upon arrival front desk didnt acknowledge me even with a nod. They spoke on the phone for a good 5 min before I was helped. Showers and bathrooms CLOSED FOR MOLD! When I called they just ignored it and no offer of any way to make it right. Our site table was disgusting, couldnt eat out there. read more

The park itself is lovely, but be aware that no lifeguard in the lazy river or pool means parents are not held accountable for behavior of large groups of children. If you want to relax by the pool or lazy river I would not recommend this RV resort. read more

NO COVID PRECAUTIONS. All staff not wearing masks, all guests not wearing masks. It doesn't matter how my stay was. If the gas stations surrounding this "upscale" RV Camp are taking COVID seriously, it is beyond shameful how ignorant this camp is. read more
