Nature trail. Be prepared to run from the Black flies that bite.

We really enjoy our time visiting this property. The sites are level and the grounds are clean but need some mowing and hedge trimming. However on this trip (4 nights) the WiFi was almost non existent (we were connected to the WiFi with about 2 hours of connectivity to the internet during our stay) and there was a camper near by that kenneled their labs outside their camper all the time and dogs do what they do during the night hours ((BARKING at every sound) we are pretty disappointed with this visit. We've decided to look for other camping areas in the future that have reliable service when in the Savannah area.

Everything is amazing about this resort. Big rig friendly. Nice clean large sites. Resort has cabins/tiny houses as well. Multiple pools with splash and play area for kids. Poolside restaurant and bar. Resort also has a Lakeside Restaurant with a great menu and staff. Nice lake view from Lakeview sites. Close to everything. Historic Savannah with a shuttle service provided. Tybee island close by, other historic sites such as Pulaski and McAllister civil war sites. So much to do and see near by. Great location for this park. All staff are super nice and helpful!

This is our favorite RV resort near Savannah. It is very family friendly for young kids with a playground, splash pad, and lazy river. Adults will enjoy the pool and hot tub as well as pool bar. They often have live music. The spots vary from paved to gravel, back ins and pull throughs. There are also some lake front spots. We prefer to be near the pools because the lake spots are far from the action (which may be preferred for some!) The showers and bathrooms are acceptable but could be cleaned more often. The check in process is a bit awkward especially if you need propane. You have to have an appointment for propane. When you arrive, you check in at the main office. Then they ask you to walk over to another office to check in for your propane which is annoying and unnecessary. They can't just call over to the other office for a customer?! Because once you get to the propane area they just say ok meet you at the propane tank! So now your walked around and waisted 5-8min of your time standing in line etc for what? Poor process. Otherwise we do encourage time spent here as well as the proximity to downtown Savannah and will continue to visit here.

Everything about this RV park was awesome. The pool, the kids pool, the lazy river, the space between RVs and even the tennis and Pickleball courts. The laundry, rooms and fitness area were large enough. They even have an alligator in the pond that acts like a puppy. I still don't trust alligators, though. Lol. we were impressed enough to do a segment on our YouTube channel about it. www.youtube.com/@love4travelTV

Overall, this is an excellent hotel, and we enjoyed our stay so much that we're already planning to…read morereturn. The staff was one of the highlights of our visit. Every employee we interacted with was genuinely friendly, welcoming, and eager to help. The hotel itself is beautiful, with a great pool, a poolside bar that also serves food, and an unbeatable waterfront location. If you're visiting for an event like the Fourth of July fireworks, it's hard to find a better place to stay. The complimentary ferry that runs throughout the day to the heart of Savannah is another huge bonus and makes getting downtown incredibly convenient. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The beds were comfortable, and overall we felt the hotel offered good value for the price. We did run into a few issues during our stay, but I appreciated that the staff genuinely tried to make things right. We rented a cabana one day, but both the fan and one of the privacy curtains were broken. While they couldn't immediately fix them, they brought us a box fan as a temporary solution. We also requested that the empty shampoo and body wash dispensers in our room be refilled, but unfortunately that never happened during our stay. As a goodwill gesture, however, the hotel covered our parking charges, which showed they were making an effort to ensure we had a positive experience. The hotel also offers a full schedule of daily activities, which is a nice touch. My only suggestion would be to make it clearer which activities require an additional fee. Some are marked with a dollar sign, while others aren't, making it easy to assume an activity is free until you arrive. My biggest criticism is the way the pool chairs are managed. Guests begin reserving chairs as early as 6:30 a.m. by leaving towels on them, then often don't return to use those chairs until early afternoon. The hotel allows the towels to remain, even though the chairs sit empty for hours. On busy weekends, every chair can appear "taken" while the pool itself is only about 30% full. A better policy for unattended chair reservations would make the pool experience much more enjoyable for everyone. Despite those few issues, we had a wonderful stay. The location, friendly staff, comfortable accommodations, and overall atmosphere far outweighed the negatives, and we would gladly stay here again.

I came to Savannah for a volleyball tournament…read more Most important feature is that it has a covered pathway to the Convention Center. There's a garage that attaches the hotel to the convention center. Makes it easy to get to and from the Convention Center during "off" times. The front desk personnel (Dellon White and Isabella Mundy) were awesome! Felicia was as well! We walked up and I had 2 reservations. Eventually, they figured out what was happening and got me to my room (Matt and Justin are 2 of the best bellman we have dealt with). Other awesome feature is the Starbucks coffee (if you're into it) shop that is in the middle of the hotel. Opens early for those of us to grab coffee prior to our am or pm wave. (It closes pretty early because the bar is open) It pretty much carries everything that you may want in a continental breakfast (muffins, egg whites quiche, croissants, drinks). Our favorite amenity was the ferry. It is free and the times are posted (and it's usually on time unless a barge is coming). The ferry is usually empty but can get filled at later times. The captains are nice and entertaining. The Trade Center Landing is the stop for the Westin. The ferry takes you to City Hall (Hyatt) and Waving Girl Landing (Marriott). The con: Biggest one for my family was the size of the beds. We are a taller bunch. It reads "queen" but is, at most, a full. I felt like I was teetering on the edge at night. The covers, blankets, sheets, etc were typical Marriott. Dellon read that I have a feather allergy so my room was already fitted with hypo-allergenic bedding. The rest of our stay was good. We were there for 4 days. OH! Incidentals were $600 for the stay. (Could have just been for the guests visiting for the tournament)

We were pleased with room placement with balcony in furthest east Bldg (3Muses). We were advised water-facing rooms can be noisy. On that note, by the third and final night, Friday, this past weekend, we learned that the cobblestone street outside was quite noisy as well. Fortunately, on weekend, just after midnight, revelry noise level moves down from the billiard Halls across from our room. (Ear plugs were furnished in the room :-) Even so, we enjoyed the balcony for the mornings and pre-dinner hour: it was ambience into our room as we were getting ready for our various comings/goings. The medium-ish sized pool featured brrrrr water; not yet nuked by summer's power! But it was enjoyable for a refresh. It got unbelievably crowded on Friday afternoon, so glad we generally came earlier in the day. Fortunately my work Conference: buffet style food supplied by JW was above-average, 4* food for Conference food (3* if judged on its own merit). But we enjoyed the on-site dining from which we tried small plates from the African restaurant, fish at the seafood bar outside the main building; my wife enjoyed the breakfast dishes from the coffee shop in the main building. This is a special property. Enjoy the artwork and the unique character of each building. So much to see as meandering. Friendly Service top to bottom. I didn't explore third building, but I'm aware that there are more rooms there and an entertainment venue too. I received very friendly service for my check-in. Brandon, who helped me and my friend at the front desk, told us what we needed to know about the property and made our first impressions here very warm. The two gentlemen who worked valet, whose names I'm forgetting (sorry!) were also incredibly kind--one made effort to remember both me and my friend's names. the rooms here--beds and bathroom--are lovely, and made more unique with the featured art. I got upgraded to a river view room, which was a big plus. (you do hear the ships go by if they blow their horn! didn't bother me and my friend's with our sleep, but the noise-sensitive folks should probably wear ear plugs just in case.) If it's within your budget, then I'd highly recommend this place to put in your bucket list of "unique hotel properties to stay at at least once"!

Where it fell short were in the small details. This is a wonderful pet friendly hotel, and I was thrilled to see all of the happy tails wagging, but sadly the doggie treat canister was empty the entire time of my 3 night stay. I pointed it out to the staff, but nothing was done... not even cleaning the crumbs out, or even simply removing the canister! Although the actual hotel is inviting, the rooms are bit outdated. The armoire knobs were replaced, and no one cared to paint or stain the raw wood that now showed. I also wondered why the bathroom only provided one towel hook on the bathroom door when it was a 2 queen bed room... and had no clue where to hand the wet pool towels! The outlet near my bed did not work, so had to charge my phone overnight in the bathroom area. Being deaf in one ear that made it difficult to hear my alarm. 2 things that annoyed me most were... 1. Many times no one was at the front door to hold the door open for struggling guests. I watched 3 different times people wrestle with their dogs, doggie bed, and luggage to get through the door by themselves. I understand someone can't be there all the time, but the installation of automatic doors should be considered. 2. Their front desk staff obviously have not been taught that 'The customer in front of you always comes first'. I stood politely and waited for the front desk person to finish their texting or email on their phone. She acknowledged me, began working on my issue, then answered the ringing desk phone, and instead of asking them to please hold a minute, she stopped helping me and dealt with their issue. I know it's a little thing, but I was annoyed. Anyway... like I said in the beginning, it was a nice hotel and overall enjoyable, but it was not the 'boutique' experience I expected for the price.

The person at the front desk seemed understanding, but powerless to help. My reservation clearly showed that I reserved a room with two queen beds. One of the reservations made by my family was two separate two day reservations (four consecutive days but made as two separate reservations). We clarified that we had the same room for the whole four day stay when we checked in. At an impressively inconvenient time midday of the third day our key card stopped working. The front desk explained that corporate required us to recheck in to the room at that time and this process took longer than seems necessary in 2026 (when our stuff was already in the room and we had done the same thing two days prior). This is clearly a low functioning hotel management system that creates unnecessary and unpleasant steps for its staff and guests. The rooms are fine but a bit dated, generally showing some wear, there were multiple old USB outlets but zero modern USB outlets, service in the restaurant is incredibly slow and the food is very uneven. It's hard to mess up pizza as bad as one we got. One of our servers was completely untrained, although very polite and sincerely trying their best. Staff are friendly and our interactions with the front desk and folks cleaning rooms were very pleasant. The morning coffee and afternoon wine and snacks in the lobby was nice. There are nice seating options in the lobby and in the interior courtyard as well. The location is great with very short walks to the river or the beautiful old downtown area. There is a lovely small park adjacent to the hotel and we enjoyed sitting on benches in the shade of elegant old oaks. Old Savannah is a gem and a highlight of our trip. The gym is tiny and worthless. Generally speaking the Kimpton Brice is overpriced for what you get. The most disappointing aspect of my experience was that the location is great and the human beings working on the premises are also great, but the experience was degraded by the folks at IHG or whatever corporate scam is hurting this hotel.

You can climb the stairs, an escalator or the elevator to get to the front desk to actually get a plastic room key even though you have a virtual key. The two queen bed on the app photo for the waterfront room shows a balcony, so this is what I thought we were getting. We upgraded to the concierge floor, more in that later. The room we have is very spacious. You aren't crowded at all. Ample room in the large bathroom also. There is a desk, a bench, single serve coffee maker, which we didn't use, one chamomile tea bag and one English tea bag, 4 creamers in a wooden box. The windows start at the floor and go up over 5 ft for a fabulous view of the Savannah River where we saw numerous barges with crates up to our windows, tug boats, ferry and old steam boats passing leisurely by onto serious waters. To watch the river activity there is a small round table and two comfortable chairs. The beds are ok for comfort with each bed sporting 4 pillows. We used the service desk to make arrangements for a trolley tour, the employee stated she was freezing, was a temp, couldn't get the credit card/ticket machine to work, this took over 25 minutes...she complained how old the piece of equipment was. We have a $6 black cup of coffee waiting to be picked up because there are no complimentary coffee offered. The ferry dock is located on this property. The condition of the room is quite surprising for a Marriott property. This definitely needs to be either updated or fixed. The view is worth the price, the condition of the room is not. We're going to try other river view hotels next time. When we came back from the tour, had dinner at 45 Bistro which we enjoyed, we went to the tiny concierge room where no employee could be found. We passed someone sitting in a chair by the door talking with someone loudly on a personal phone call, well she was the employee...she ignored us and kept talking to whoever...we searched the small area for a soda, all were warm. My sister wanted a glass of wine which is normally free in these areas. There wasn't any, we asked the employee who looked not happy to have to put her call down and answer us nastily as she opened a door where small bottles of wine were inside a large black garbage bag and said she had to charge it to our room, we declined and she went back to her phone call. The tiled ledges in the bathroom are filthy, I've been in gas station bathrooms in better and cleaner condition.

My friends and I had been looking forward to staying at GB and to say we were disappointed is a…read morehuge understatement. Rooms are $700-900 a night. We booked a room with two queen beds that were in fact fulls. The beds are small and why they're being advertised as a queen is ridiculous. The room itself was nice but there are some major downfalls. First, the lighting is atrocious. It's too dark, especially if you're in the bathroom trying to get ready. The toilet paper was one ply, there was no fan in the bathroom (I can see a mold issue from a mile away), and the mini fridge? Don't bother bringing leftovers if you go out on the town back with you as it's only big enough to hold a couple of small water bottles. (It's literally a carry-around fridge. It's mini.) For the cost of the room you'd expect the products and amenities to be a bit nicer. Upon check in we were greeted by the vallet staff and a gentleman inside that offered us champagne. Everyone was very kind. They were bit busy during check-in but we weren't in any sort of rush so didn't mind waiting. Sheila was the woman who checked us in. One of our party was running late due to health issues. Said guest is a gold star elite member of the hotel and had called ahead of time to inform staff of this. She was informed we would have no issues checking in. We reiterated this to Sheila who said if that member of our party (who had booked) didn't show up she would charge us for a full night (we were getting a discount through our friend running behind.) Once our friend did make it and check in Shiela then told her "make sure there's no trouble." And I can only assume she was saying this because our group is heavily tattooed. We came in from walking the city in band and bookish tshirts and Doc Martins. We knew we were getting judgey looks from the moment of check-in but surely at a high end place like GB they would treat everyone equal. That comment was absolutely unnecessary and unprofessional. And to say that in face of someone who is an elite is wild. We had drinks in the rooftop later that evening and watched a beautiful sunset. Staff was wonderful there as well. I didn't get the chance to use the gym but I did pop in to check it out. It's small but has what you need for a quick circuit. The staff did hold our luggage while we walked sound after check out which we appreciated. They were very kind. Overall it was a decent experience that we could have gotten at La Quinta at the next block. This is an average hotel that is vastly overpriced for the bare minimum.
