Excellent Pilgrim hoagie. Essentially this is thanksgiving on a roll. It was delicious!! It was so good I went back later in the day and got another! I was going to try something else but could not get over how good this sandwich was so I had to get it and boy was I glad i did. First of all the roll was the best! Liscios seeded roll that was fresh and delicious! Turkey lunch meat that was sliced real thin just the way I like it. Stuffing, cranberry and mayonnaise. Together they came together in the best way. Moist and delicious which is why I went back for another. Split the first one with my wife. Now for some constructive observations. First off, the only reason I knew of the pilgrim sandwich was a billboard on the Walt Whitman bridge advertising it which led me to investigate further. Now the only reason I knew there was a Primos in Ocean City was I get sneakers nearby. I have not seen anything written about them on the local Facebook boards as a place to go so that was second issue in my book. Finally getting online, there is no mention of the Pilgrim sandwich. That is a shame!! All that being said I was overjoyed when my wife asked if we should go back tomorrow and try some other sandwiches before we go home tomorrow. Boy I really do love her. The food was delicious. The sandwiches were great sizes and very tasty. For the American sandwich, they definitely needed more oil and vinegar. And they could have used salt and pepper. Unfortunately, it wasn't an option to add salt and pepper. But I forgot to put it in the notes. I always have a problem when I go to primos. I was very happy with my experience here, 2 days in a row. Both days, separate sandwich makers but both were quick and consistent. The bread was fresh and held the hoagie together very well. I got the doable Italian and it was the best ones I have had from the primos chain ... I eat a lot of primos. The kids working the counter were very friendly, welcoming and took care of business. The location is great, surrounded by other shops and food spots and the foot traffic is great. I never expect a massive amount of meat and cheese (1. That's not healthy, and 2. Any successful business will not survive doing that. ) as another local sandwich shop who gave out LOADED steaks and hoagies is no longer around. So yea, the amount could be a little more which is why I took a star away. I don't think that will affect this spot though. A must try when in OC. Also... their potato salad is my favorite potato salad out there. read more

My family misses Voltaco's and we were shopping around for it's replacement. Primo's regular Italian isn't an exact replacement, but they make a great sandwich. The bread does not tear up your lips, but it is tasty...go with seeded. The meats of the regular Italian are really tasty. Hots on the side are not exactly the same, but again, still a good option. Awful service. Last time in, we purchased macaroni salad and it was terrible, sour and old tasting. I returned to day , shared my experience with the about the last time I purchased bad macaroni salad, how we threw it away, and would like it to be replaced. Micah who identified herself as the store manager is in fact the owner, did not disclose that and refused to give me the number for the corporate office to share my experience with her ridiculous arguing (making no sense) and her unreasonableness with her poor customer service and arguing with me.......over $3, rather than just replace it She basically said I would have had to drive it back so they could "investigate the product'' basically accusing me of not telling the truth about my experience with the macaroni salad. Why would I drive it back after getting home; a $3 container of macaroni salad. It was too long she said which also makes no sense. They sold old macaroni salad but I should have to drive it back to "prove it." We will not be returning to Primo H. There are many other better places for Hogies in Ocean City. This particular primos frequently gets our orders wrong. But today, for some reason, we did not learn. We went down and picked up our sandwiches came back and it's missing one of the sandwiches. My wife called up to explain what was missing and they said we can make it for you if you come back. My wife said what we paid for it so she will do that. When she arrived they literally started making it then. So then we finally brought back the sandwich (which was for my daughter) And they wound up forgetting the mozzarella cheese on the chicken Supremo. We've ordered from this Primo's for years, and we've always liked the sandwiches. Today, we ordered a tuna hoagie. The tuna was gross and fishy-tasting, and it had a very mushy texture. Not one of us could eat it. so we called to ask if we could bring it back and get either a refund or a different sandwich, and they said, "No, we don't do that." Not only did I have to wait over 1 hour and 15 minutes after being told 40 minutes, but my sandwich was completely wrong. I was nostalgic for my favorite food of all time - the hoagie - while we were on vacation in Ocean City. We have a couple of Primo's Hoagies in our area, so I knew I could get a good sandwich there. I stopped by yesterday and it was pretty good. I got the small hoagie, which was plenty big enough, but I was slightly disappointed that the small hoagie doesn't come on a seeded roll - only the larger ones do. Not a huge deal, though. The hoagie was great, overall - tons of meat and great quality sharp provolone. There were several people ahead of me, but they did a great job of keeping the line moving and not making me wait long for my hoagie. I would definitely go back next time I am in OC. read more

Primo's is so banging! They have an awesome variety of specialty hoagies. The diablo style with a unique blend of spices give it a spicy kick which is always a good thing with me. The Auddiablo is my favorite one of the bunch, turkey and roast beef. I always get a whole because this hoagie is so good you will want to have left overs to eat for the next few days! A crucial piece of the hoagie is the roll which can make or break it. Primo have got an awesome roll that is perfectly crunchy on the outside and chewy toward the middle. Stopped in here after two local business "sandwich" shops either didn't honor their own menu and/or didn't bother to post operating hours. So, sadly, I was forced to go to a chain. Great job keeping the local business person alive, Ocean City! This is a quality sub I've had at other locations but man, they're expensive. My turkey/cheese was almost $11 with tax but, as I've mentioned, it's quality. Cracked pepper turkey with sharp American cheese was satisfying, but I can't see this costing more than $8.99, which is still a little high. Awesome hoagies in the area. We stopped by for lunch and ordered a variety of subs. We got the Italian, Roast beef, sausage and supreme club. Everyone loved their sandwich and the chewy, seedy bun it came on. The service was a little on the slow side but as can be expected given the subs are made to order and each sub has a ton of toppings. Also, in rare form, they accept credit cards. My only complaint here is that they offer no butter. For those that are planning to eat out in a large group... don't. Seating is limited. You should order it to go. read more

6/22/16 12-1235. My experienced is mixed, the hoagies were phenomenal but it was the rudest service I've ever had. After walking up to the cashier, a young blonde girl, I ordered two sandwiches quickly then took an extra minute to order the third. I looked up to see an exaggerated eye roll. I thanked her twice in which I received no response. There was nobody behind me. I saw my sandwiches come out so I got off the phone and waited by the front desk. After 10 full minutes, I walked up to the blonde girl, she bagged my sandwiches, handed them to me, then walked up to another customer. As I was walking away she yelled at me "thank you" in a very very angry tone. I turned around and said "excuse me"? In which she responded "you know I said thank you because it's what you do". I was stunned at her tone so I explained that in fact I did say thank you twice when I ordered and I just figured she was busy when she didn't respond. She responded in a nastier tone than before as she basically spit "ha! your welcome then!" in my face. As I walked out the store she yelled "bye bye then" . I wish I could upload exactly how nasty this was said to me. I'm 28 and have never been accused of bad manners or been treated with such disrespect by an employee somewhere I'm buying lunch.
