When Eric was doing custom work I asked him to get with me to come up with something different. I wanted a wood looking gas tank for my VW. I wanted a wood look for the top. I wanted a wood look for the dash and mirrors and the back engine plate bracket. Eric made a new gas tank from his mind to fit the Manxter 2+2 that never leaked by the way. His unique airbrush style made everything stand out. I also had a unique Type 3 Fastback painted purple and Jiffy Lube drove it into a curb for inspection. Eric was able to match the paint and get it back to show worthy condition. If you want the best then Eric and Kathy's place is the BEST. Five Stars don't cut it so I'm adding 100+ Stars as my review. My dad told me he wanted to put me on with P&S as they were reliable. Background: this is a family owned business. The first time I came to P&S, I brought my 2001 Mitsubishi Montero Sport to get serviced for a full markup and told him to fix whatever the problem was so that the vehicle can pass inspection. I told him that I will be paying whatever needs to be fixed. Specifically Sam directed all questions to my dad and not me. I thought that was rude because the vehicle is in my name not my dad's. I asked Sam to address me for anything related to the vehicle. Sam continued to make calls to my dad about my car. I would call to get updates on when it was ready; Sam wouldn't speak to me. Instead, I found out he had spoken to my dad. This infuriated me because my dad knows nothing about the vehicle and I felt like my needs were ignored by Sam. He didn't acknowledge me since I was a female. I had to get the information from my dad who told me the car was ready to be picked up. Once I arrived to the shop, I addressed my concerns to Sam. He looked at me like I didn't know what I was talking about. Sam told me he fixed the problem in an affordable way. I asked him why he didn't fully fix everything that I requested prior? His response, "to save you money". I said, I didn't need to save money, but to fix the problem. Again, Sam doesn't listen any requests. I expressed my frustrations to my dad who spoke with Sam. After this, Sam apologized to me saying he didn't know. Nah you knew, just treat females like they matter. It's quite simple. The last time I came here for an oil change on my other vehicle, the Toyota. Sam was seemingly nicer and addressed me accordingly. Last week, I called P&S to schedule an appointment to get my Montero oil leak fixed. Sam answered the line and told me to call back next week. I said okay. Next week shows up, I call P&S to schedule for the oil leak on Montero. Sam told me again to call back next week. I said, Sam you told me that last week when I called. I said, it sounds like you're giving me the runaround. I said, if that's the case I'll find another local mechanic. Sam said that something was up with the computer system. I said, okay. I went ahead and went with Vela.

Poor quality and cheap products…read more I took my car here after an accident to be repainted and to get the sun damage repainted as well. Upon getting the car back the areas repainted looked fair until 3 months after I noticed bubbles in the paint that eventually led to paint chipping off the car and on another side the paint started to fade. They told me that due to driving conditions they cant determine whether it is driver error or the paint. It's probably better they didn't repaint it again because the paint would have only lasted about 3 months. The cheap prices look appealing until you realize how bad your car looks a few months after. I wouldn't recommend getting service here unless you are okay with a dull car with chipping paint. There are plenty of good paint shops in the area that actually take time to do things right and give you a warranty on their service and it's not this one.

From there it went downhill very very fast. I was paying for these repair out of my pocket and wanted to make this very very clear so he does NOT waste his and my time. This purportedly idiot told me flat out "I am not ready to hear out your stories". Those were his exact words. I usually push back giving a middle finger but I restrained myself . What I want to tell him if he thinks the estimates are over $850 (I got an estimate from other shop who is off the beaten tracks. This shop told me any other shops on the beaten tracks will give me estimate over $2000 and will show off their "riding on high horse" attitude too) I do NOT want the estimate. Since anything above $750 is NOT worth it for 22+ old 210000 miles vehicle. It turned out exactly what I warned about. I gave this guy (who is an estimator and purportedly an owner too (IMHO)) a polite but firm earful. I really wanted to tear his paper estimate and throw on his face but I restrained. I usually do NOT waste my time with such guys. They do not how to treat a customer.

E92 M3 carbon fiber roof re-clear!…read more It was very difficult to find a shop even willing to take on the task of working on carbon fiber... the other shops would only quote replacing the roof rather than repairing it as it is very easy to damage carbon fiber weave when sanding and any damage is very noticeable. Donny's took on the job of clear coating the carbon fiber roof. I dropped the car off Monday and picked it up on Friday... also they repainted the front bumper and the side panel that a different local shop did a terrible job painting. Donny's did excellent work and they even washed the whole car. I have had only bad experiences with paint and body shops prior to this and would highly recommend Donny's. I don't know what other shops charge but it didn't break the bank and definitely saved me a ton of money not having to replace the roof. Also I just realized that I am the reviewer from 14+ years ago with the Nissan 350Z haha! (The picture shows the roof without trim which is how I brought the car to them) Thanks guys!

On the re commendation of a friend I entrusted my 996 to Donny's for some paintwork. What an…read moreatrocious customer service experience. I was clear that I wanted a decent job but not show level. What I received was less than base level acceptable with hard edges to the paintwork and paint on the seals for windshield (f and r) and the sunroof seal. I also had chipped clear coat around the sunroof. On showing this to the shop they insisted that they could do nothing unless (at my expense) they removed the glass and sunroof and reshot the panels : this despite the fact that on this car the seals are all removable without glass removal and sunroof removal takes all of 10 minutes. When. Challenged they simply refuse to deal with their mess. Awful.
