It took 3 hours for me to stop the bleeding. Long story short, I was not called when the mishap occurred, they retained the pup for several hours (because I was told they wanted to get my second Morkie groomed), and will not reimburse me the grooming fee (we only asked that the one fee be reimbursed). And yet, they were willing to pay for a vet bill if I chose to take him to a vet. Although the groomer herself was quite upset, the owner basically told us "too bad". Not a good business practice and certainly not one to encourage referrals!

We switched to Snazzy Jazzy's, fearing that she'd struggle everywhere we went. Instead, she now loves her groomer. She greets them with a joyfully wagging tail, and it gives us a lot of comfort. In the past, groomers didn't listen to our preferences, but at SJ's, the groomer makes sure that message sent is message received. I especially appreciate their boards of fake fur shaved down to different lengths; it's really helped me communicate, especially during the change of seasons when I'd like it shorter or longer. The health of our pups is their first priority. My pup has gained weight, and my groomer has kept detailed records, which they've communicated to me. I spoke to my vet about it so we could make a plan of action. Unfortunately, when addressing a different health concern, we discovered a mass. The groomer's meticulous tracking helped us determine that my pet's mass is benign. I can't begin to explain the relief this gave us. I've had nothing but positive experiences at Snazzy Jazzy's, and I've recommended them to many friends. I hope you check them out; they've been such a blessing to our family!

Our double-coated collies are truly our fur babies, who we adopted from rescue years ago. Recently…read moreone of them had been recovering from an illness affecting her balance and mobility. Because of these issues, our girl pup had begun to develop some mats in her coat. Both dogs were overdue for grooming. Needless to say, regular grooming (even at our most trusted groomer) was out of the question because of our injured dog's balance issues that were also complicated by her hip dysplasia. As she healed, we knew it would be extremely stressful to ever leave her at a busy, noisy grooming salon. What we needed to find was a groomer who could come to the house, provide one-on-one customized grooming in a safe, self-contained environment. We needed someone who could keep an eye out for any outward signs for us to follow up as needed with our vet. Most of all, we needed to find someone who was knowledgeable, caring, gentle and committed to the well being of our pups while under their care. We found all that and more with Amanda of Keep Pup Mobile Grooming Spa who I found thanks to the Yelp community. I cannot recommend her more highly. Our dogs immediately took to her as another member of the pack. Amanda was super responsive in providing appointments that fit our very challenging schedules, and worked with us to ensure any special health concerns were addressed. Her mobile grooming spa is immaculately kept, and Amanda has high standards to ensure a safe, low-stress experience for pets and owners. We plan on booking her as far in advance as possible to ensure our fur babies get the very best, right here in our neighborhood. Gotta love that! It is best to contact her via text, and give her needed information; breed, age/sex of pet, last grooming date, etc. She will let you know if she services your area and will provide you with an estimate and window of her arrival. Amanda is prompt, in fact she arrived early for the appointment (she checked with me first) and she did an amazing job with Duchess. I have to admit this has to be her best grooming yet. You can tell that she enjoys her work by her performance. The grooming is on par with area groomers, but you get a more personalized touch, AND you don't have to leave your home. I have already recommended Amanda to family and will be using her again.

I have been using Grateful Dog Walkers for years now. While I understand everyone has their…read morepersonal favorites, Liam is mine and definitely my dogs. Often there are one to three dogs here at any one time and whenever they hear the name Liam they run to the door and greet him as a long lost friend whom they love. I have often asked at the last minute for him to get them, board them or just keep them for the day and never ever has he said NO! He is always willing to accommodate and go the extra mile even arranging for one of them to get groomed at his house while I was ill. I know the transition has been a bit chaotic but I also know my dogs have not suffered one bit and absolutely love their time with him.

Not only was Mackey, a consummate professional, he truly loved and cared for my pets, as though they were his own... And, he treated my home as though it were his own. Unfortunately that wasn't something that wasn't upheld by the rest of GrateDog Walkers in this area. I had serious issues with Liam SEVERAL times. I specifically told him that any new person needed to be introduced to myself and my husband, as well as our pets prior to coming into our home. This is something that we do with ALL contractors. It is an industry standard. It did not seem to be an issue when I discussed it with Liam... however, it was completely lost on him when on more than one occasion, he had somebody completely different, show up at our house at the wrong time whom we had never met! I called Liam, and I was assured that Mackey would be the person who would then come back. I actually had to contact Mackey directly to ensure that he would be there the first time this occurred. The second time this occurred, a new person showed up that I had never met, locked a cat who was on Prozac in our bedroom, who, then ripped up a bedroom carpet... Liam claimed that this was impossible, they would have never shut the door, but we were out... This is not some thing that Mackey, who was very familiar with our pets, very familiar with our home, and very familiar with our routine would have ever done. Trying to discuss the matter with Liam, he took absolutely no accountability, and actually put the blame back on me. I have had numerous issues with billing, I've had to reach out on more than one occasion because of it. It's just all very haphazard and unprofessional. It's really sad, because the place where I get my dogs groomed recommended Grateful Dog Walkers specifically because of Mackey, and I got them several new customers because of Mackey... We have all left now. What's worse is, I had actually purchased a gift card for Mackey, and when he could not come to my home, Liam had stated he would come to my home and handle my pet for me. I agreed to that. Liam actually stated that he had picked up the gift card and was going to deliver it to his employee Mackey. I checked with him on three occasions after the last pet visit, he had no clue there was a gift card, no clue of the amount or where it was purchased to. Clearly, Liam kept the gift card for himself. I have no use for such unprofessional persons, the entitlement is beyond reproach. I have a second home, and a very large upscale community, I had very strongly recommended this group, and I am now very strongly recommending to all of my friends and neighbors not to use them until they replace Management here. Smarten up folks! You let an honest, hard worker who brought in clients go to keep someone who sleeps in, doesn't return clients calls, and when they do, berates them and is insanely unprofessional. This is the absolute best example of the Peter principal that ever was! GO ELSEWHERE!! PS notice that it's Mackey's name that is complimented on other reviews... Take the hint people! either clean up your act down here, or simply keep your flagship operation in the Baltimore area
