Breakfast was amazing with fantastic and engaging staff. The hotel is located in a quieter area than most of the tourist attractions, which was a bonus for a quieter, more relaxing stay. Restaurants, a small supermarket, and public transportation were nearby and easily accessible. We hope to stay again on a future trip to Florence!

They have a 24/7 concierge who helped us call cabs and give us suggestions. The location is away from the main hustle and bustle but close enough to walk to everything. The bed was bigger than the beds usually are in Italy and it was also comfortable. We could not hear any noises from the lobby or the street from our room. The ambiance was elegant and everything was super clean. They have a full hotel bar and breakfast in the morning. The breakfast here is delicious! They have a buffet style option AND they also offer items off of a breakfast menu for free. I'd highly suggest the banana Nutella French toast and vegetarian omelette. They also have a spa downstairs with a sauna, a steam room, infrared showers, a quite room, and a sitting pool. If I come back to Florence again I will definitely be staying here.

It's really cool, however, I really feel they warrant 3 stars because of the poor customer service, exorbitant prices and poor design of the place. 7 euro for admission to use the hydro pool is worth it. You will be given a robe and slippers and key to your locker to change into in the locker room right in the inside of the entrance. Don't keep valuables in there- lock them in the lockers upstairs by the pool (which are guarded). You pick a locker when you get up there. The hydropool has mineral-rich spring water and many jets - my favorite were the ones for the feet. Make sure to do the grotto experience if you like steam bathing, but keep track of time because if you miss your slot, that's it. You'll walk toward the hotel through a few doors until you see someone in a room full of tunics. He will give you a tunic to change into and keep your robe for you. Then you walk down to the grotto and stay an hour only. If you want to stay the whole time, find the cooler part of the grotto. Do yourself a favor and don't get a package that includes food. Try not to eat there because the food is disgusting. Low quality, not creative, insulting really, for the price you pay. And this is one of those paradoxical places that caters to tourists but the workers make it way too obvious that they really despise them. Try to look past that and just have a relaxing time in your own little blissful world.

I made a reservation for me and three of my friends for the Thermal Oasis Spa Package and we had…read moreone of the worst experiences with customer service yet in Italy. We were so excited to visit this spa and relax, but instead we were treated rudely and ripped off. First of all, when we arrived we were told that the sauna was not working and that the Turkish bath might also not be working. If these are the two facilities they knew we had a reservation for, why didn't we receive an email or phone call to let us know in advance before we spent an hour on the train to get there? Second, we had to ask THREE times if they knew how long it would be until we knew for sure if the Turkish bath would be available until the receptionist upstairs finally went to check and gave us an answer. Also, we had all of these interactions in Italian because even though they knew we spoke English, they never offered to help us in English. Our spa package cost 25 euro and included the sauna, the Turkish bath, and a light lunch. The receptionist offered us a 50% discount since we were not using the sauna, so we should have paid 12,50 euro. So, the Turkish bath would come out to half of the original price of 13 euro but then they said we would have to pay 10 euro for the light lunch separately. So, we were actually paying 6,50 euro plus 10 euro for a light lunch that WAS SUPPOSED TO BE INCLUDED WITH THE PACKAGE. It came out to 16,50 euro. They did not even stay true to their offer of giving us a 50% discount for the inconvenience. We opted not to purchase the light lunch because we realized we were being ripped off. It's simple math. Originally, the sauna and the bath come out to 13 euro. Lunch costs 10. That's 23 euro. SO WHY WERE WE BEING CHARGED 25 EURO TO BEGIN WITH. Also, during this conversation, the receptionist said, "O questo o niente." Basically, she said either we could take that offer, or we could leave. Then, we found out we were misled by the PDF that lists the spa treatment options because thermal waters offered with the Turkish bath are really only a regular shower. We originally thought we were going to get to enjoy a thermal bath in hot spring water, so before we used the Turkish bath, we asked if we could switch our treatment to what we thought we had signed up for. The receptionist said it was impossible and then rudely said, "A refund is not available." I had not even asked for a refund. I was only asking if we could switch the treatment because we had been misled by the PDF. We changed back into our clothes and asked to speak to the manager before we left. However, we also left without speaking to the manager because the "receptionist" who treated us so poorly was actually the manager. There was no point in talking to her. If that's how the manager will treat you, I don't want to know what kind of services you'll receive at this place. Overall, this place is a rip-off with awful customer service. I have never been treated so rudely in my life. Don't waste your time or money going here.

The staff speaks English well and making a reservation on the phone also was no problem. A kit with one-time use flipflops, underwear (and bra) and towel is included, you do have to pay 10 Euros though for the stylish black scrub mitten, which you get to keep afterwards to use at home. I have been to a other very fancy hammam before which was huge so this was very small compared. The overall atmosphere is nice, everything is super clean and lit nicely. The downside is, it's very small and there was only one masseuse so everyone kind of had to "wait in line". You first warm up on a hot stone seat, then you shower, steam room, jacuzzi, repeat. After doing 3 rounds of this for an hour we got kind of bored. Finally it was our turn but then again, my significant other had to wait until I was finished with my massage. We did get the regular washing and scrubbing along with a Rassoul massage which left the skin super smooth. All in all it was a nice experience with super friendly staff but kind of small and a little long for being in a small confined space like that. We did go home very relaxed though and and had a great night's sleep.

The dip is only for the base and then they finish it with gel, which I was have avoided for years as I do not want the skin exposure to the UV light. The first manicure was good, not great, but I liked the atmosphere of the salon. It was definitely priced on the higher side, especially compared to US pricing. The returned a month or so later for another manicure and simply got the gel manicure. It last about 2 weeks before starting to chip, which I found unusual. I decided to do my own manicures because I didn't want to continue UV exposure for a gel manicure. So I finally went back last week, after the holidays, to get a "dip" manicure once again, to help protect my nails and keep them strong. I guess I had forgotten they do not do a true dip manicure with powder for the color coat, only the base, using gel and UV for the color coat. Literally within 24 hours one of my nails chipped. And I am not hard on my nails. I decided I would not go back after paying €80. No fill, no artificial nails - just base coat and gel color. And then, two days later, another nail chipped. Maybe it was the nail tech, but I will not return. I expect more out of a salon that charges this kind of pricing.
