We put our son here at 18 months after a terrible experience with another daycare in the area. I can honestly say that it was one of the best decisions we have made. Not only are the staff fabulous, the administrative team of Melissa and her people are incredible. They handle issues immediately, and they truly care about the well being of the children there. I think the other review is fake. Just take a tour and you'll see. We recently moved to this area, after looking at two other well known daycares this one completely stood out! They are all about education. Having qualified teachers and a really impressive curriculum and standards. They also serve healthier food/ snacks (especially compared to the last daycare my child was enrolled in). This school has such a sweet personable feel and the staff gets to know you and your child right away! It's not a huge school like some others out there, but the rooms are a great size. Plus, I'd take great teachers, staff and education over a fancy large building any day! I've met the owner and director, both sweet and personable! Really pleasant change from the daycare. We had an absolutely terrible experience with this daycare! I registered both my one year old baby and a 2 year old toddler at this daycare. The baby room was overcrowded, they don't pay attention to the babies and they let them bump their heads against the furniture. The first week my baby was there, she came back with 2 bruises on her face and a deep scratch on her chest, it's like I was sending her to a war zone! I used to watch the teachers for a while from the window looking in the room. One morning, I saw one of the teachers dragging a baby by the arm all across the room because he was trying to climb on one of the cribs, she was really angry too while she was doing it. The toddler room had 23 toddlers, it was very noisy and smelled like poop.. the Morning teacher was not engaged at all, she looked to me like a Zombie who absolutely did not want to be there!! My toddler hated that school so much that he was crying all day and the little veins in his eyes started popping! I got the kids out of there after one week, the "wonderful" school debited our account for 2 weeks because they said that we needed to give them 2 weeks notice! How can we give them 2 weeks' notice if we only used their services for 1 week? This school only cares about sucking money out of your pockets, they don't care about you or your kids, these are the same people who want to "sell" you your kids drawings that they do in class!! read more

We love Primrose! Our son stared at 5 months and has now been there for 5 months. The infant teachers have been wonderful and the management and office staff have been, too. They all know our child and provide us with personalized care and attention. We are so happy we chose to put our baby in the care of the staff at Summerwood Primrose! read more

My daughter attended this location when she was 4 during the summer. Initially we liked it and I registered her here because they include breakfast in the tuition compared to the fall creek location which was closer to home. After attending about a month she came home with a dark bruise on her. When I asked her about it she told me a teacher pinched her. I was livid. The director did some investigating however nothing was done about the situation. So I immediately withdrew her. This happened 8 years ago. Overall I think Primrose is a great company. I just enrolled my 3 year old to start at a different location. I would hope the Summerwood location has made some improvements since then. read more

Our daughter has attended Primrose Summerwood since she was 8 months old and she is now 2 years old and thriving, due in part to the amazing, kind staff at Primrose. We love that all of the teachers are so loving and compassionate about working with kids. We also love that all of the front office staff cater to our needs and communicate so well. They respond to every need without hesitation e.g. replying to emails, phone calls, impromptu meetings, etc. It is so comforting to know that our child is in good hands every single day, and she is learning while having fun! Mr. Jaielon , Mrs. Bria, Ms. Johnson, Mrs. E, Ms. Ana, Mrs. Mary, Ms. Mellissa, just to name a few, have made this school extremely enjoyable for my kids and us as their parents. They have an amazing curriculum during the school year and the best summer program! I've recommended this school to a LOT of people and most of the ones who live in different areas have chosen to go with a Primrose location near their home, but the experience is never the same as ours here at the summerwood location! read more

I have been apart of the primrose family for about 1 year as an employee and my daughter has been attending Primrose for about 9 months now. This school is amazing, the staff is like family to me and my daughter. They treat us with so much care and made my daughters first time attending school so great. I know shes in great hands. I have 2 children that are currently enrolled. The teachers are great and most of the management are good as well. The owners, Brandi and Larry, put much effort into the school and know the parents and children that come into their school. They're personable and very attentive. There are some new people under the managing roles which have yet to prove themselves. Those that have been there for some time now are excellent! My kids have been there since they were 13 weeks old (they are now 5y and 3y). They are super happy and have learned much! Would definitely recommend them! read more

We have been with Primrose since our daughter was 4 1/2 months old, and she is now 6 and is in the after school program. We also have a 3 year old son who has been with Primrose since he was 3 months old. We love Primrose, and love that many of the teachers our daughter had, our son has also had - Ms. Maria, Ms. Bennie, Ms. Nayeli, both Ms. Sandras, Ms. Dayana... and whoever else I'm forgetting...they are the best! The current office staff is great too, and so are the owners Brandi and Larry. We've always been extremely happy with Primrose, and our kids have definitely learned a lot over the years and made many good friends as well! read more

My son attended before and after school care here, this past school year as a 1st grader while at Summerwood Elementary next door. He ADORED it! He absolutely had a blast every day, had "something" new to show me on the playground everyday as I picked him up, hugged his teachers each day, and would even ask to stay "just a few more minutes" to play everyday with his friends. He was always supervised by AT LEAST two ATTENTIVE and watchful teachers. I never at any time saw any child unsupervised, and I walked the building and classrooms, and playgrounds to pickup my son each day. When we were new, and the employees did not yet recognize me, they had me produce my ID before releasing my son to me, on more than one occasion, and by several different employees. They are very conscious of every person who enters the building and anyone who may not belong there. There main concern is the safety and well-being of the children they really do care for. Many of these ladies have worked there 10+ years and I had never met a teacher that I did not feel was genuinely wonderful, lovely, and caring. Brandi and Larry, the owners, truly put their heart and soul into their business. Absolutely the nicest, most caring and concerned, involved in the day to day owners you will find. You can see how much they love the children and care so much about the importance of what they do. This place is really wonderful, SUCH a blessing. Oh.. One more plus if you have an infant... They have such a special lady in the infant room there!! If you are lucky enough to get a spot, look no further.. You could definitely rest easy if you are having to return to work and place your newborn in daycare. She really is a Godsend. Word of advice .... Stay away from Goddard. I speak from personal experience, when I say that these two schools are NOT anywhere even close to being similar when it comes to the loving, and nurturing environment your child is placed in. Goddard cannot hold a match to Primrose, its principals and its ethics. read more

This school is amazing in comparison to many of the daycares/preschools that I have seen. My family's experience here has been nothing but positive. There are the typical issues or concerns that come from any business especially one where parents leave their children. But, it has been my experience that the staff have handled the issues and immediately made sure that a follow up was made to make sure I was pleased with the result. I firmly believe that the staff of this school cares for the children and will do whatever they can to see that the children are learning and having a fun time. Many times, not just my own children but I see many others who are not ready to leave when it is time to pick them up. I have left my kids before and ran a few errands because they wanted to stay and continue to play at this school. read more
