As a dedicated educator in the Summerwood community, Ms. B consistently exemplifies a passion for teaching that goes far beyond the classroom. Ms. B has a remarkable gift for inspiring and shaping her students academically, socially, and emotionally and our family is appreciative for her dedication to our Grandson's Jackson Brown development. She creates a warm, supportive learning environment where every child feels valued, encouraged, and confident in their abilities. Her love for teaching is evident in the patience, creativity, and care she brings to her lessons each day and it has been evident in our Grandson's growth. He is becoming a better reader with her help and suggestions to help improve his progress. Equally impressive is Ms. B's commitment to her strong communication with families. She regularly keeps parents informed about classroom learning and provides thoughtful guidance on how we can reinforce and enhance those lessons at home. Her clear, consistent communication helps build meaningful partnerships between school and home, ensuring that students receive the support they need to thrive. As grandparents, we truly appreciate her willingness to share strategies, resources, and encouragement to help us actively participate in our children's educational journeys. Ms. B's dedication, compassion, and professionalism make a lasting impact on her students and the broader Summerwood community. She is an exceptional educator who leads by example and touches the lives of her students in ways that extend well beyond the school year. Charlene E.

Not only are the staff fabulous, the administrative team of Melissa and her people are incredible. They handle issues immediately, and they truly care about the well being of the children there. As a new mom, I was super nervous about leaving my little guy somewhere new for the first time since he was born - but they have exceeded all expectations. From Day 1 the teachers and staff made an effort to know his name, and make all of us feel so welcome and valued. The teachers in room 1 have all been so kind and lovely, especially Raven - who really seems like she was meant to be around babies. She brings such joy and light into each day and gives detailed updates (even for blowouts lol) with a smile. As far as technology, the daycare offers apps for parents to live stream video of all classrooms and see live feed updates of everything going on in the day (diapers, how much they ate, etc), which we have found super helpful to feel 'in the loop'. The teachers also upload pictures of our little one throughout the week which we so so enjoy. They offer events and special days for the kids frequently, in addition to a (paid) parents night out which we hope to take advantage of soon! There are snacks for the kiddos each morning, and chocolate chip cookies on the way out every friday afternoon. The babies in Room 1 are involved in a range of activities throughout the day such as story time, flashcards, sensory activities, painting (with take home presents for mom and dad), outside buggy time, and a variety of other things. Tip for other new moms: they don't let you do glass bottles (or food jars), for fear of shattering upon warming. Plastic bottles / food jars only.

My daughter was attending pre-school before we moved so it was not a new thing for her entirely but she was still very shy with all the new faces and places when she began attending Kiddie Academy. The Kiddie academy staff was very patient with my daughter when she had her tough moments, and her teachers always took the time to make sure she felt comfortable and loved. My daughter's primary teacher was Miss Coy. She is an excellent teacher! She is very kind, patient and energetic. She also had class pets and allowed my daughter to do show & tell with her pet tortoise to share with all her classmates. My daughter raved about her favorite teachers Miss Coy, Miss Courtney, and Miss Meagan on a regular basis and was always happy to see them upon returning to school. Kiddie Academy offers a way for parents to watch video of their kids during class which was really awesome because it helped me feel better to know what she was doing throughout the day and how she was feeling. This facility also does events throughout the year not just for the students but also for the community which was a great way for me to meet other parents for play dates. I would like to thank all Kiddie Academy staff for their outstanding care and safety measures provided to my daughter. Her heart and mind have significantly grown while attending this facility.

He…read morewas placed in a corner by a teacher for approximately three minutes, and when he came out, he was bleeding. This is unacceptable and raises serious concerns about student safety and supervision. What is even more troubling is the school's lack of response. No meaningful action was taken, and the teacher involved remains in their position without accountability. As a family, we expected a thorough investigation, transparency, and reassurance that steps would be taken to prevent this from happening again. The safety and well-being of children should always be the top priority. Unfortunately, based on this experience, that does not appear to be the case here. I strongly urge the school to take incidents like this seriously and implement proper measures to protect students. I spoke with Stacey and she clearly didn't care and the owners were supposed to call me and I'm still waiting. The worst part is that his mother worked there and they didn't report it to her as well, she found out when she picked him up and he had large knots on his head and was bleeding .. Needless to say she was fired because she was a concerned mother... Please don't bring your kids to a place where kids are not put first. Stacy and Cermany need to be fired

To be honest this place really deserves a BIG 0 for the unprofessionalism, lack of skills,…read morecommunication, and so much more on behalf of the owner/director and so call staff members working here. I'm going to try and be has professional has possible seeing that I have been in education for over 18 years. To start off we were lied to in regards to how many children would be in the classroom for 2 yr olds. We specifically told the director during our facility visit that our son needed a smaller environment she assured us that they could accommodate him. Our son a 2 yr old was there 3 1/2 weeks no time for transitioning, to learn staff, other students, rules, policies and procedures before we received an email and was told that we needed to find another daycare with a smaller class size to take our son too. We were given the 2 week courtesy to do so and would be refunded because we paid for the month of April. My issue with all of this is not one time when I did daily checks on my son was I told his behavior and energy level was too much for the staff to deal with. I kept every daily report given by the many untrained staff there and not once was it noted that our son was biting, kicking, running out of the classroom, climbing on items, etc., this was what the staff reported to the director after I made a complaint about them allowing my son to be outside on the playground without socks and shoes and receiving two stomped big toes that bleed and not one time were his parents notified of the problem. In all honesty I'm glad we moved our son because the entire daycare needs training courses on teaching, and communicating skills with dealing with children under the age of 5. The enrollment sign needs to come down they're struggling trying to keep the staff they have and class sizes are already at capacity. Do your research before enrolling your children. We did that and was still deceived.....
