Before the repair, the hole naturally sat closed and was only visible if I pushed my finger underneath to show it in photos. Unfortunately, the finished patchwork did not meet my expectations. The repair was not blended well, and the patched area is clearly visible on the outside. On the inside of the shirt, there is excess glue around the patch, which is disappointing--especially given how thin and delicate the lambskin is. To be fair, the stitching repair along the seams near the collar turned out very nicely, and I do appreciate that work. However, overall I'm disappointed with the quality of the patch repair. I had hoped for a much more seamless result, particularly since the original hole lay flat and discreet on its own. Now the repaired area is permanently noticeable, and because the leather is so thin, it's not something that can easily be removed and redone. The repair cost $30. While I understand pricing can vary, I would have expected a more refined and blended finish for this type of delicate garment. I was also disappointed to learn that they do not offer leather cleaning services, which would have been helpful when caring for a delicate suede piece like this.
