All around solid taco spot. Nice flavor, portions & prices. We had birria, steak & shrimp tacos, chicken quesadillas & elote. Everything was super good & tasty. Prince Taqueria - you earned your crown - In!

Came here on a Friday for dinner. My friend suggested this spot and after checking reviews, we decided to give to try this place out. Once you enter, you place your order at the register and they will drop your food off at your table if you are dining in. The place is bright and has a nice fast/casual dining vibe. Ordered the chips and guac which was solid. I got the steak taco, chicken taco and birria taco that comes with a cup of consommé. All the tacos came packed with their respective proteins. Everything was really good and my favorite was the steak taco. I was very stuff after this meal. If you're in the mood for tacos for a fair price, I would highly recommend Prince taqueria. * Street parking * unisex restroom * Sauces available in the back of dining area

The most amazing Mexican food I have had in long time!! We just moved into the area, it's the perfect local spot. The prices are fantastic, every single item on the menu is DELICIOUS.

I'd prob give it a 4.5. Clean, well decorated restaurant! Decent size menu, I had a birria taco and a shrimp taco. Ordered at the counter and they dropped it off at the table. Expect to wait a bit, it was a Tuesday afternoon with only 2 others in the dining room. Birria was flavorful and fresh. The sauces being available in the dining room was a nice touch. Street metered park available. I do wish they had a lunch special available.

I loveeeeee this place! Found it less than a month ago and have visited/ordered 5 or 6 times already. The food is delicious--I'm obsessed with the birria tacos and the guacamole chips. The restaurant has also always been very clean on each visit. Plus it's fully halal. I'm obsessed and can't get enough

I loved the nachos...probably the best nachos I've had. I want to try the loaded ones next time. Unfortunately the tacos were a little too salty for me but maybe thats just my personal taste since I dont like putting too much salt on my food. The elotes were so good too though I like how it balanced the spiciness perfectly into the flavor. I def will go back and try other menu items and give another go

We picked this for Saturday lunch. Upon arrival we were the only ones dining in, though multiple customers walked in for take out. I was really impressed with the decor and interior of the restaurant. Vibrant and colorful, with ultimate Mexican vibes and songs playing in the background. But the store was little cold for a freezing day outside. It wasn't comfortable dining in. The menu had bunch of tacos, burritos and bowls. I got the shrimp, streak and birria tacos. The food came out in few minutes. Tacos were decent size with good quantity of ingredients. Shrimp was my favorite, great taste with the chipotle sauce. Steak was also really good, with avocado sauce on the top. Birria was decent, but I had better ones on other places. The dipping sauce was too watery. Also the onions were not cooked enough to liking, I'd have preferred them to be caramelized brown. I got to try the chicken bowl as well. I wasn't fan of the rice they used, but the chicken was really good, little spicy but full of flavors. The bowl had lots of cheese and sour cream on top. I loved all the three sauces, salsa roja, chipotle and salsa verde, that they had in the condominium section. All of them added some extra flavor and kick to the tacos. I was happy to see another good taco location opening in Bergen county.

Not my favorite. Food is average to me. Got the shrimp burrito: Pico de gallo is overpowering all other ingredients. The wrap could heat up a little more. Shrimp itself is not bad. Portion is big. Service is quick. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Lots seats and tables inside. Most people do take-outs. Nice decoration of Mexican culture.

HIDDEM GEM ALERT. It seems that Prince Taqueria had been open since around April of this year across the street from my favorite neighborhood Jamaican restaurant and after coming by for a quick weekday lunch, I went through a series of self-reflective questions like "How did I not hear about this place?", "Why haven't I eaten here?" and "Have I been living under a rock?!!!" Yes, the food here is as Tony the Tiger says --- greaaaaaat! However, what's even more impressive is the fantastic décor of this casual little restaurant. Unlike most of my eating escapades, I didn't do any research prior and was pleasantly surprised by our sparkly new, bright and colorful the interior of this place was. Everything about this restaurant yelled Mexican with the colors and wall decorations. Honestly, it was one of the most appropriately decorated restaurants I had been to in a long time - meaning none of it went overboard and it was just the right touch. The menu was very simple - tacos, quesadillas, burritos, bowls, loaded nacho bowls/fries and small bites. We kept it simple and got 3 tacos to share (shrimp, birria and steak) PLUS the loaded nachos with birria and an elote/Mexican corn. First, the tacos were EXCELLLLLENT. The meats were so good and delicious. We were looking forward to the shrimp and steak, but the birria absolutely blew them away. The birria came with a dipping sauce, which comprised of the birria juices, and this just made the birria one of the very, very best tacos I had ever eaten, ANYWHERE. It's a bold statement from a taco lover like me, but it was that good. The loaded nachos were just as good with the birria. The nacho order was massive and easily could have fed 3. Yes, the birria was very tender and tasty, but it was that extra birria juice that put it over the top. Also, the Mexican Corn was fantastic too. Came here with no expectations for just a regular low-key sit down meal and left here completely blown away. The décor of the restaurant definitely set off a good vibe and the food matched it punch for punch. Absolutely a spot worth visiting again and again and again.

I saw this place on a post in yelp insta. I did not expect the exterior and the interior to be this cute. The restaurant was nicer than expected. Service was helpful. Birria taco Elotes Steak quesadilla Loaded nacho fries Chicken tacos Everything on the menu hits. Birria was great! Their hot sauces are VERY good. I must have refilled 3 times for more of that sauce. Metered parking- but it's very cheap. The tables were not wiped upon seating. I guess no one checks on them since you walk in to sit wherever you want to. Other than that, I'd come back for the best birria taco around.

Halal tacos on Anderson Street in Hackensack NJ The service is great and staff is very friendly. Decor is cute and place is clean. The food is standard and nothing outstanding but I know halal version of food is a specialty.

But as I plotted and planned, the birria tacos kept coming to the fore. I suppose my lunch at a gas station was inevitable. And I'm glad it was. Admittedly, I was a bit off by the prices. Again: gas station. But I suppose the Mid-Atlantic isn't the South and things are going to cost what they cost. But $3.75 for a soda and $16 for tacos was a bit of a hard sell. And then I ate them. The chicken birria* taco order came in an oversized four-pack bursting with ingredients, flavor and a large side of consomme. Between the seasoned chicken, cheese, onions, cilantro, pan-fried fatty goodness, and crunch of the shell, I was deep in food-like.** These were not street tacos. These were hefty, large-hand sized, meaty, heavy talk pieces that were worth the price, regardless of location. You get your money's worth at MRT. I ate my bounty in the station. The owner (?) was nice, chill and about his business. He welcomed me in, answered questions and made sure that I was happy with my food before I took the first bite. Between the smell and presentation, how could I not be? This may be a gas station but you'll get your food with restaurant sensibilities. The soda was over-priced, though. *Is that really a thing? **Food love is hard to come by.

We started at Oaxaca Grocery, I like this kind of shop a lot. A small amount of groceries to look at and a casual take out kitchen in the back. They take it a bit too far by not having a menu to choose from but the staff is friendly and gave a rough framework of their choices. We went with four lengua tacos and ate them standing up in the shop. Absolutely delicious! Flavorful and tender meat. After being underwhelmed by the nearby Japanese restaurant, we returned to Oaxaca for round 2. Two pastor tacos, two chorizo tacos, and a Mexican "pizza" that another customer recommended. Pastor tacos were some of the better tacos we've had in a while! Mexican pizza was pretty cool, lots of fresh and vibrant toppings. (Cheese, avocados, meat, etc.) I initially thought it would be the traditional Mexican tlacoyos and was looking forward to the thicker tortilla. This was a thin crust style pizza but still delicious! Certainly wish Oaxaca was in my neighborhood!

Service has been nothing but kind, helpful, and attentive every time we've gone. On our last visit, we were jonesing for happy hour and asked for the drink menu, only to discover they don't serve alcohol but they're BYOB. "And there's a wine and liquor store only two blocks away," our smiling server whispered conspiratorially. It was a genius idea. While we waited on our order, my husband jetted out for a 6-pack of Modelos and got back just as our chicken salad was being set down on the table. We asked for it to be timed as an appetizer, and I'd say the serving size might be closer to an appetizer than an entree. But the chicken pieces were well-marinated and delicious, making the salad a meaty entry point into our shared steak fajitas. These fajitas are a winner winner chicken - er, steak - dinner. Since we got it done medium well (my preferred doneness - feel free to judge me for it), I was worried about the steak being tough but these were tender enough for both my husband and I to emit a simultaneous "wow" at first bites. The sauce on them was also incredible, so much that we asked our server about it when he checked on us mid-meal. He crossed his heart and demurred, "It's a secret, so I can't really tell you," but when we pressed for more information, he admitted the main base was "lots of tomatoes". Well, whatever's in that magic sauce was good enough for us to drag our spoons against the near-empty fajita plate, trying to get every last drop of it. My husband and I have visited twice now, and our order has ranged from good to excellent (with those steak fajitas being the high winner thus far). There are a few parking spots in the front lot but being that this is in a quiet, residential area, there's plenty of parking to be found on the side streets if necessary.
