Eva, our venue coordinator, was incredible - so sweet, kind, and dedicated to making our nontraditional vision come to life. She accommodated every adjustment request. The venue beautifully accommodated our 175 guests with plenty of room for everyone. For Brooklyn, the pricing is amazing - it comes with food and open bar with so many affordable options for such an expensive area. Eva had backup plans for everything and somehow even manifested perfect weather after it rained all week! Having her on our team made all the difference. I looked at many venues for my September 2019 wedding. At first, I wasn't sure if I wanted to go with a banquet hall. However, some of the more "hipster" venues didn't seem as organized as Princess Manor! Eva was quick with her replies via email, nice, open to chatting whenever we stopped by to drop off a check, and easy to talk to. She has a lot of experience and it shows. Everything ran seamlessly for our special day, and the venue is clean, beautiful, and easily accessible. The servers were all so nice. The Princess Manor is an events location as well as a catering location. I have had an event at the location, so I can review both features as absolutely amazing. The Princess Manor specializes in Polish food. Delicious, well made, mouth watering Polish food. Their Polish food is so good, they're the group that the Polish embassy calls when the embassy is having an event. They have cooked for Pope John Paul the second, Rudy Giuliani, and a bunch of other famous people. I had my wedding reception in the Princess Manor's downstairs ball room. The events coordinator, Eva, is amazing. She had everything ready, she took care of our DJ and florist and helped arrange stuff, she makes great suggestions and is just so helpful and nice, it blew me away. The main ballroom is beautiful, with a huge dance floor. I also really enjoyed the set up of the cocktail hour, with a large buffet in the middle of the room as guests munched and enjoyed cocktails while the wedding party was safely ensconced in an upstairs room munching and drinking ourselves. Finally -- the price is incredibly reasonable (per person) for this general geographical location. I love this place. My mom and Eva are already planning the baby shower. Too bad they'll have to put those plans on ice for at least 5 years. ;) read more

Truly shocked this place has this many stars after the experience we had. I am only writing this as a guest of an event, but I heard the NIGHTMARES my family went through after booking here (they were promised the world, and then up charged for EVERYTHING). From the moment we walked into the event the staff was MISERABLE! I don't think I received one smile, one hello, one thank you, any sense of courtesy. Not even the girl offering drinks when you walk in smiled or said hello. Jump ahead to the end of the night. They make an announcement to a group of adults that they "close the bathrooms". WHAT! My family spent THOUSANDS of dollars and we can't use the restrooms before our trips home? I watched the EXTREMELY RUDE Manager turn away adults, elderly people from using a restroom. Are we at McDonalds? That is insane. The entire staff working including that monster of a manger clearly just wanted to go home and pushed us all out of the door, without even a chance to clean the space and gather our belongings. I have never experienced anything like this at a hall that hosts expensive events. What a mess. Buyer beware it's a nice space, they will offer you a low price and then up charge you. Long overdue review: We had our wedding reception at THE Princess Manor in April 2009. Thanks in large part to the Manor and their staff, it was the best party ever (I know everyone like to say 'best party ever', but this was... ask my mom)! The best thing about the PM was the team's flexible and accommodating attitude. My wife and I were really trying to be creative as well as frugal in completing most of the work ourselves. From being open when we needed to deliver decor, to flexing the tables to allow for our entertainment, to taking care of our unusual cakes, Eva and her staff were ever gracious. Endless positives: The space is beautiful. The chandelier's make it fancy. The food is comforting and delicious and beautifully presented. Awesome futuristic party lighting. Affordable. Bar and bartenders were on fire. Next to subway stop (G and L). Around the corner from our house (when applicable). Nothing was too much for them to handle. Just had my daughter's Sweet16 at the Princess Manor this weekend. It turned out better than what we imagined. Their packages are affordable and we added a few extras, like valet parking, coat check and the bar to make the experience better for our guests. Standard cocktail hour with meatballs, pasta, chicken and broccoli, kielbasa, pierogi, fruit and cheese, plus one carving station. The lone bartender was adequate for the task at hand. Choice of Roast Pork stuffed with Plums or Chicken Marsala. Portions were small but very good. Slice of a very good, light and fluffy cake for dessert. I had my wedding at Princess Manor a while ago, but it didn't feel royal at all. Here some major disappointments: there was nothing at the bridal suite when we arrived except for a bottle of champagne with no waiter to be found to open it. My nice cake from a french bakery was sliced in such a tiny pieces that my guests didn't taste it's flavor, in the meanwhile 80% of the cake was given back to us as leftovers, and went to waste. We are still on a high from my daughter's Sweet 16 Soiree recently held at Princess Manor. We began our planning 2 years ago. We looked at 15+ venues across Brooklyn and Queens but decided on Princess Manor because they had the most inclusive party packages around so we didn't feel like we were being nickeled and dimed for everything we wanted. Eva, the Event Manager was there from the start and she is THE BEST!!! Eva listened to my vision and plans over the months and offered great support, suggestions and enhancement ideas to help our event pop. When the actual day came on Friday, August 15, 2014, I was blown away. Everything Eva suggested came off fabulously. We selected the Platinum Tiara Package for Desiree's Sweet 16 and Princess Manor exceeded my expectations. They truly offer a level of excellence with graciousness that is unparalled. The staff was curteous and attentive. The food was excellent and people are still talking about it. The Sweet & Sour Wings was a crowd favorite. Eva & her staff added some beautiful touches to our party experience that amazed our guests. I was truly surprised and impressed. To top it off -- who gives their clients gifts for utilizing their services? Princess Manor does! At the end of the night, Matthew our Maitre d presented both Desiree & I with gift bags as a "thank you" for hosting our event with them. Maybe I shouldn't say anything about the gift in case I'm the only one, but I loved it!!!!! (and the gift was really, really nice. Something I just said to myself that I wanted to get so I'm HAPPY.) My personal favorites about Princess Manor: ~The facilities are very well maintained (including the bathroom). ~Their uplighting & party lighting options are amazing. ~The sound system already hooked up makes it easier for your DJ to just come in and play. The quality of sound was great. ~The Platinum Tiara Package was well worth the upgrade. ~One-stop shopping for all your party needs. ~The food. ~Valet Parking is not too expensive and worth the ease in parking for you and your guests. It also adds an element of class ~Eva, Eva, Eva . . . all day! The only regret I have is that I didn't ask someone to make me a plate to take home to really eat with my feet up post-party because the food was really good and I didn't eat enough of it because I was being the "Hostess with the Mostess" all night. I smiled so much my face hurt. Hands down, Princess Manor is the best and helped to make this memorable occasion FABULOUS. My friend had her wedding reception at this spot...so the location was horrible..but once you get inside you forget that you had to either park your car 5 blocks away or wait 45mins for the only valet driver to get around to you!!!
