    Full Gel Set by Hunter
    Alyssa P.

Not only was I serviced right away, I also had the best experience I've ever had in a nail salon with Hunter. He has been doing nails for years and does mine with beautiful precision and attention to detail. I will never go to anyone else besides him. My expectations were EXCEEDED BY A MILLION. HE IS AMAZING!!!!!

This place left my cuticles bleeding in several places and I just looked down and discovered that the polish has completely disappeared from two of my toes after only two days. I wanted to try somewhere closer to where I live but I'll go back to Vudu downtown from now on, they do much higher quality work and are friendlier.

I usually always frequent Princess Nail Bar. I always get great service, something to drink and they perform my service well. I just got a pedicure with my mom after Christmas. Amy did so niceeee. $79; $81 with the debit card fee, and I tipped $10 in cash.

The atmosphere here is nice- decor/massage chairs/sinks are all beautiful and the place looks very clean. My nails came out beautifully, my manicurist spent awhile cleaning up my cuticles (which I appreciate because I feel as though a lot of people tend to rush through this step) and she also spent a lot of time making sure her polish application was precise and cleaned up the edges. I am so pleased with how my nails turned out. I gave this place three stars because the service here was disappointing. The staff is not super friendly- when I had asked to get the combo deal found online (Pedi and gel mani for $56) she huffed out a "yes" and then turned to her coworker and muttered something in a different language. She could have been talking about something completely different but the timing felt as though she was disgruntled with me? Unclear. Lol. Once my friend left she did perk up a little more and spoke kindly to me. Unsure if I'll be back again. I'm very happy with my nails but this place is already a little far from my home and the service really bummed me out.

I love my pedicure but did not love the service. The guy who did my nails maybe said 4 or 5 words my entire visit. If it's a language thing, I would understand but he also didn't smile, not once. There's no language barrier when it comes to being friendly and smiling. I also noticed the same attitude from the other workers, like the one working on my friend's nails. I can tell that she said something snarky about my friend to her coworker in Vietnamese when my friend asked about their online specials. Not cool. I'm just used to my nail salon in San Antonio always being super friendly and welcoming. Did not get that feel from this place at all. Also, the guy who did my nails was a little rough. He kept cutting at one of the cuticles on my left foot and it seriously hurt while he was doing so. Then he was digging at the cuticle of my big toe on my right foot, that one actually started to bleed. Not a fan of pain while getting a pedicure. I mean my nails look good. So, I guess pain is the price you pay for good looking nails. Will I be back? I'm thinking probably not because there are several other nail salons in the vicinity that deserve a chance. Who knows maybe I'll actually get a smile and feel welcome at one of those salons.

Gave this place another try and boy am I glad. Mary truly did a phenomenal job on my mani/pedi. I was a little short on time today because I'm heading out of town. She was so efficient and professional and made sure she got me in and it in record time and did so while still providing excellent service. This is the best my nails have been done in a while and I'm thoroughly pleased. I will definitely be returning. Please go see Mary, you will not be disappointed.

I visited this nail spa for the first time on my birthday, and I was really pleased with the service that I received. The location does a good job of social distancing including utilizing plexiglass, and all of the staff are wearing masks. They also take your temperature. And, the nail tech who assisted me you did a great job on my gel polish and manicure. I would love to return to her again. It's a really beautiful space, with ample space to host a large party, like a bridal party. I would recommend.

Residue in the cuticle area. Left side of thumb flooded with acrylic. Had to pick it out of my cuticles with tweezers. Painful.

I went with high hopes after a coworker had good results here. Unfortunately my results were not. There were good choices of colors and I didn't have much of a wait at all. I got a full acrylic set with gel. I didn't get a chance to take a good look at them in the dim light of the salon and didn't really see how bad they were done until after I left and didn't have time to go back. Initially I was going to go back and have them repair them and ultimately decided I didn't want them to touch my hands again. I got nicked with the drill and started bleeding to which my nail tech said "it hurts me more than it hurts you." Really? My thumbnails were done so widely it's actually painful. I have acrylic down in my cuticles that I had to chip out with tweezers because it was hurting so badly. After the gel polish was done rubbing alcohol was used to take off the tacky layer and he scrubbed all over where I had been nicked with no regard for the burning (alcohol in an open wound). Everything was done with the drill. No cuticle work by hand at all. Didn't even brush off the dust from drilling before putting on the acrylic. My middle finger nail is literally pointing up at I should've spoken up at the time and I didn't so that's on me. But the job was done too fast, with little regard. I will definitely not be back and will find someone else to repair my nails. I'm sorry to leave a bad review but please go more slowly and be more considerate with your clients.

See how my color still look nice and round at the cuticles when it growing out

If anyone gets a chance to go there: I would recommend two artists there named Mike and Lindy.

I really liked Dana, although she hasn't been there for a few months, so I've been seeing other techs. I can't remember the names, but all of the women I have had pedicures with have been very good. On my last visit I was directed to Kevin, who was so rough, I felt he was deliberately hurting me. It was a horrible experience. Over almost 40 years of regular pedicures, I've had some that were not well done but I've never had one that caused me pain. I seriously considered never going back; however, it is convenient and I am comfortable with the other staff. From now on I'm going to book online with a specific tech.

I am updating my review as my long time nail tech Joanne has joined this business, which brought me…read moreback. Joanne is the best, I've been going to her since 2021. Her nails last me well, and she's very dedicated to taking her time and making sure the quality is great. She's a true five star nail tech. Love Joanne, and she's the primary reason I go. The salon itself is nice, and the staff that checks me in and out has always been super kind and helpful. The also have A LOT OF COLOR OPTIONS! Many, many different things to consider; however do note that a lot of the more special color options have up upcharges of $10-25 dollars, such as chromes, cat eye, or certain other polishes. They are transparently noted however which I very much appreciate. The only thing I really dislike is if you pay with a card, they pass on the processing fee to the customer. I personally don't like it when businesses do this - as a business owner myself, I consider it the cost of doing business. I know CC fees add up, but I just personally find it really bothersome and this was not the case at the last nail place, or the place I went before that. However, they do have the option to pay in cash to get around the fee - so I've been trying to withdraw cash before going. They also have a rewards program which I always like for businesses I'll be investing in regularly, and my last place DIDNT have that, so it's a nice option. I'll take photos next time I go to update the review!
