My nail tech, CC is great and I love her personality and conversations we have. Be prepared to be priced gouged without transparency pricing. For a basic pedicure, you are charged to have your gel polish removed and a nail trim which cost me $55. If you use your debit card, they charge a service fee to swipe your debit card. I don't think I've had a pedicure in 20 years, but I thought I'd just kick back and let somebody else take care of me. The experience was fine. I called ahead but didn't need to make a reservation and showed up about 2 hours later, and the lady who quickly helped me was pleasant and seemed very efficient. The place was quite busy, which is always a good sign. I'm probably a little biased because it's a stones throw from where I live. I can't say anything about their other services other than my pedicure, which was just what the doctor ordered! I could easily get used to this, but as a guy, I probably won't need to have my nails done, nor a full Brazilian wax anytime soon! read more

I'm very disappointed as a formal regular client at the salon. I came in with the request that they advise me they could re-create. I was there for 4+ hours just to walk away unsatisfied I spoke with the lady that did my nails and told her due to time I would have to come back first thing in the morning to fix the mess that they done on my fingers just for me to come back the next day and spend another three hours and have them charge me all over again. I walked away paying $200 for nails I was never satisfied with and there was no accommodation offered. I only got my nails done for a photo shoot and I was very unhappy with my results. I have tried so many nail salons in the brier creek area. When I found this one a few years ago, I thought it was great. Then I started having hit or miss quality on both gel manicure and standard pedicures. The final straw for me was a few months ago, I had someone that seemed like they had no idea what they're doing. Did a terrible job, my gel manicure was ruined the next day. He cut way too much cuticle for both. Did not do the callus treatment even though that is the selection of pedicure I made. I found somewhere else to go but ended up back here when my new place wasn't open the day I needed them done. Ended up with the same person and same experience. I overall had a fine experience here and would consider going again. They seated me right away with my reservation. The have many OPI colors and very limited Essie. Their drying station is rather small compared to the rest of the salon, so I found it hard to be seated with a working dryer. read more

Here for my 3rd visit so it's finally time for a review. It's a typical nail salon with services for manicures and pedicures. These days most places, including this one, offer beverages which is a nice touch. The difference here is they also offer facials and massages though I've yet to try either. I had one gel manicure here which didn't last very long. I'm not sure if it was the color or the technician but I'll have to try again to see. They've been pretty consistent, in a good way, with the pedicures and even offer varying types depending on your budget. I'll, at least, be back for another pedicure. read more

Let me 1st start off by saying I have been going to Serenity nails for 2 years so when I 1st had the 1st incident with my daughter and one of the workers I kind of pushed it to the side because I Figured that everyone deserves 2nd chance. I've been going here for a year and it's always hit or miss and ive been really unhappy these past few times, but the icing on the cake was the sore spot on the side of my nail and the pocket of puss accompanying it. I get an acrylic fill in every 2-3 weeks and the last time i went i had the older man and he used the electric file on my nails that had not been cleaned and a used bit on it and had a used emmery board in my nail and now i have an infection in my nail bed. the prices are not consistent, it's unsanitary, the same man used the electric file on my natural nail bed and burned me. Very unsanitary. The person working with me moved from working on someone's feet directly over to working on my hands. I was appalled. I asked her to wash her hands and she literally threw her hands under the water for 3 seconds and dried them off. Another worker moved from working on someone else's hands to finish my nails without washing her hands either. The customers are not asked to washed hands. I wasn't asked. This is how diseases and fungus is spread. I would not return to this business. read more

I went here a few months ago for a pedicure. It was just okay, but what really bothered me was how low quality the polishes turned out to be. Anywhere I have ever been- polish on your toes lasts at least 2 weeks before chipping. I even chose from the recommended polishes with samples. But this polish only lasted a week on my toes? It's almost like they put remover in the polish to thin it out and get more uses out of it. It just wasn't worth my money at all. The pedicure experience was also rushed and not very relaxing. I have gone to other salons that have done more for the amount where the polish lasted much longer. read more

bad service. this place was questionable few years ago. now, it is bad. i selected an upgraded service. they didn't start my service on time, asked me to leave and come back later, even though they confirmed on the phone 5 minutes before I showed up that they can start. I also stayed under the fan/ ultraviolet light area for more than 30 minutes to dry them as much as possible before leaving. The quality of service I received at this nail salon was beyond unacceptable. I had to request assistance as no one greeted me or acknowledged my presence upon entry. The first 5 minutes of being serviced, the nail technician cut my finger with the drill. The acrylic was thinly applied and as a result, my nail broke 5 days later. The gel polish began to chip as well. I returned to address the issue and again, I was met with no greeting, just blank stares. Having to ask for service, yet, again, I informed them of the issue and was told to come back tomorrow as they were busy with two other appointments. Two days later, I went back to get the nail fixed and was met with the same rude demeanor. I made the manager aware of my discontent and he apologized. However, the disregard I experienced for my time and money as well as the inequality of service endured all 3 encounters will not allow me to patron this establishment ever again. read more

There was only 1 lady that decided to show up to work on time. She kept "calling the other workers" and saying they were on the way but it took 30 mins before the next worker showed up and then 45 mins before another one showed up. Very unprofessional. I am a regular at this place not by choice but because this is so close to where I live and they accept walk-ins. This place has the most erratic customer service. Their treatment of customers is so different. For instance, during one of my visits they were very polite and asked me if I wanted to drink something while on my other visits they have only wanted to get done with the work and carry on. During one such visits last month, I was pretty pissed off because of the hidden cost/pricing. When I told the guy who was doing my pedi-mani that I wanted a small design, he said it would cost a certain amount whereas they charged me $10 over what he quoted. When I questioned the front desk person, he told that the person quoted the wrong price and adding a tiny spec of glitter to my gel mani would cost me extra $10 whereas in the past I have paid only $5 for it. Now, the money is not an issue here but the way they treat people is. I would like to be told up front about the right price for the service I avail. As far their work goes, some of them are very sincere and I have had good experience twice when I got gel nails done both the times. This one time when I got a regular mani done, my nail polish smudged within a few hours. The main issue is they don't have many options when it comes to nail designs and some of the employees chat way too much among themselves while attending to you. I have always been two minded about visiting this place again and have reserved it only for the times when I am running short on time. read more
