I was in town visiting for a wedding and needed to get my nails done. Based on other Yelp reviews I chose CnP. I currently have a damaged nail from a sports injury and have been hesitant to do anything besides a manicure with regular polish. However, because it was a special occasion I decided to take a risk and get Gel X. First, I received a relaxing spa pedicure by May, who was gentle and skilled. The massage chair is very powerful which I like since it's a good place to work out some kinks in my neck and shoulders while I get serviced. Second, I received gel extensions by Judy. She is phenomenal. She worked with my damaged nail and helped me create a unique neon freestyled pattern. I was so incredibly happy with the results as she asked for my advice every step of the way (length of nails, shape, colors, designs). I spent 3 hours total in the shop and it was totally worth it!! read more

If you're in the Raleigh area and need a pedicure this is the place to go especially if you have dry, rough feet. Ialways see "Son" who has a keen eye for detail and gives the most heavenly foot massage on earth. There are several pedicure options with free hot stone on certain days of the week.They also offer soda, wine or water during your service which is always nice. read more

I got an amazing deluxe pedicure that lasted 1.5 hours loved every minute of it! I also got lash extensions. They are lash clusters not individual lashes and I love them so much!! Not expensive at all and worth every penny of it!! read more

ThiI can't say enough good things about Judy and the entire team at CNP Nails! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and completely taken care of. They were kind, professional, and incredibly accommodating--even fitting me in for a last-minute appointment with ease. Judy gave me one of the most beautiful manicures I've ever had in my life. She took the time to explain what would last the longest and how to care for my nails properly, especially with my upcoming wedding in mind. Her attention to detail and genuine care went above and beyond anything I expected. The atmosphere was calming and relaxing--after a complimentary glass of wine, I was so relaxed I nearly fell asleep! Came here with two friends for pedicures and we had such a wonderful experience! Since it was three of us, we had three different manicurists. Each one of them was super friendly and easygoing! Hands down the best nail salon in Raleigh, NC. 1. Every one of the nail technicians are not only friendly but take their time with each customer. CNP is awesome! My pedi might have been the BEST I've ever had (I've prolly had 100s or even 1000s)! Ask for Son, he was nothing short of amazing!!! Tips: It's well worth the extra $10 to go up one level from 'basic'. Best leg massage & scrub EVER! Also, be sure to get or add the paraffin - they do it the best I've ever experienced! I LOVE that they are very real about whether they can fit you in (no "sure, 20 min" and you're there an hour....!). NOTE: I recommend calling ahead, even same day; as she fit me in for a pedi that day. Judy was the 'main' gal answering the phone & doing scheduling. Very personable & customer oriented!! Again, very 'real' about whether you can be fit in, they are busy for a reason, so be flexible & patient or schedule in advance. They are worth it! read more

I FINALLY found a good nail salon in Raleigh! I made an appointment at CNP nails ahead of time, which was very easy. The salon called ahead of my appointment to remind and confirm. i arrived, and the staff was so friendly and immediately got started on my service (full set manicure). my technician Judy did an excellent job on my nails, taking time to help me understand the shape and color that would best match the inspiration photo I brought. During my service, the staff offered beverages and were overall so friendly and lovely to be around. Definitely recommend this place read more

I have been to a lot of nail salons in my life time. I have received nail service in Tampa, Atlanta, SC, LA, PA, and let me tell you this has been by far the best service I have ever received. The attention to details by Son and Sue at CNP Nails were superior and exceptional. You will not be disappointed with this team. I walked into the salon stressed and I am leaving relaxed bc Son massaged the stress right out of my tired feet. My pedicure and dip nails are magazine perfect. Keep up the good work. I made an appointment with Aaron after a friend suggested this place and I went through their Facebook reviews. He was so patient and diligent in working my nails, especially after I expressed wanting them to look beautiful for my upcoming trip. He advised me on the best natural colors that wouldn't be too sheer with tips and even sampled a few to show me what they would look like. Cost was more than reasonable for a dip powder manicure. This is a nice salon. I've been dragging my feet to find a new place since we moved from Brooklyn this summer. Read a ton of horror stories on Yelp about places that were appointment only and started off great only to decline as they got popular.... I mean poor service, fungus, no refunds, etc. I was glad I went to CNP. They take walk-ins and when I showed up on Saturday afternoon I was able to get a chair right away. They have a computer check in system so they can keep track of your services and birthday (I hope that means there are points and presents coming). I got a Mani Pedi with the honey lavender scrub upsell on the Pedi. Calf massage was legit and my feet are smooth like butter after the pumice rub. Massage chairs and jets in the foot bath were a definite plus. They also offer water or a soda as you get your feet done. Also the color selection is insane. I've never been to a salon where even the regular polish colors were numbered on a ring. Whether you want dip, gel or natural they can pretty much match any color for you and they keep those polishes in numerical order so any tech can find what they need quickly. This is clutch cuz I usually do gel or dip on my fingers and natural on my toes, so I'm excited for the match sitch next time I visit. I think the girl who did my nails was Teddy (?). She was super friendly but didn't force a conversation, which I love. (Major introvert here). The vibe from the other workers was super friendly and they joked with each other and other clients about places to eat etc. My nails came out great. Teddy asked if I wanted a third coat of color before the top coat but I declined. She took extra care shaping and made sure the lengths were equal on both sides (my nails were pretty jacked up). You can put a tip on your card when you pay which I was grateful for. Nails were completely dry after two rounds under the uv and then I was on my way. Will def be back. read more

Lucky me having extra time in Raleigh and needing a pedicure and finding this shop!! I splurged on the top pedicure and holy smokes that was a *real* massage. My tired runner legs finally feel human. This was NOT a fast and quick service but I do not care. Hour and a half in the chair and I am happy!! Clean everywhere, way too many color options, and super pleasant people. Would come back absolutely! read more

I had a wonderful experience at CNP Nails! The staff was very friendly and my fill in and pedicure came out beautiful. The only thing that was not great, was not being offered my complimentary wine during my service. When you spend over $50 you are suppose to be given complimentary wine however it was never offered once I was having my pedicure. I did not ask while receiving my service because I wanted to see if it was something that would be offered to me. When I checked out I was told that I should've asked when receiving my service. I spent over $100 and to not be offered a complimentary item and to be told "next time" wasn't what I expected. Nevertheless my nails and toes look great. read more

I don't agree with some of the older reviews here. Maybe things have changed at this place. Came here with a friend one afternoon - both getting mani/pedi. I'm all for a no-frills nail place, but it at least has to be clean and organized, and service has to be kind. This wasn't quite it. The place doesn't look as new or nice as in the photos. There's plenty of space, but it didn't look cleaned properly or maintained well. They have the plastic dividers at the manicure chair stations, and they were all smudged, scratched, and looked dirty. The floor was covered in dust, paint flecks, and filings. They did use bowl liners, but didn't take tools out from sanitized packets. Used the same tools for pedi and mani. They don't let you look at the polish bottles or test anything out - they just hand you a basket of plastic nail samples to choose from, and most of them end up being unavailable. They argued with my friend over her choice of polish and made her feel bad..... like, what? I overheard one tech (a guy) make some rude comments about a lady's skin who was in another chair... she looked so uncomfortable. Kind of couldn't believe it. The polish job itself was basically ok, but we'll choose a different place next time to avoid all of this. read more

I was a walk-in on a day when the shop had a full schedule. Still I got a chair right away. My mani-pedi was just what I needed, and the leg massage was WONDERFUL! I had no idea my legs were so tight. Everything seemed to operate smoothly and the technicians were personable without being overly chatty. They offered me something to drink, which was great as I sat back in the massage chair for my green-tea upgrade pedicure. It was worth it! I'm not well versed in nail care, but the shop offered a variety of colors and options, and offered guidance and suggestions to clients for the best outcomes. My choices were for natural nails, and they came out great! It's a cross town trip, but well worth it. Next time, I'll make an appointment and relax. read more

This place is the absolute best! I used to go to a place closer to my work, but after two manicures (where my poor fingers were bruised from the cuticle removal - OUCH!) that were horrible, I decided to find a new place. My mom actually found CNP Nails, and I am so happy she did. She sees Judy, and I see Aaron (after Justin left). We always have a good experience and our nails look fantastic! We always receive so many compliments, even two weeks after our manis! I hate to leave such a great review because I do not want too many people to find out about one of the best kept nail secrets in Raleigh! LOL! If you are looking for a quick, albeit relaxing way to treat yourself AND look good, then make an appointment to see any of the techs at CNP! You can even walk in! No appointment needed! You can ask for any one of the talented techs. Just not Judy or Aaron, because they are spoken for! read more

Came on a Friday after work and no appointment as it was a last minute decision to go. They got me right in which was great, but the great ended there. I came in to get a liquid gel refill as well as a basic pedi. They were getting busy so she (Judy) started the fill in 1st. She filled and filed but the liquid gel seemed lumpy and sitting over my cuticles. I could tell she kept trying to fix it and it seemed fine until they were painted. She finished my nails (in a rush) while I was receiving the pedicure (which was fine, no issues there). The curing burned like hell, which I know is do to rushing. She also cut me with the drill because my arm slipped because again, rushing. Once my nails were polished and set, the yellow nail polish dried lumpy and uneven. The tips were not covered. The nails weren't smooth and she filed down my nail beneath (unnecessarily) ruining my actual nail lengths. Judy had many clients coming in requesting her so I really think it was a matter of rushing. It simply would have been better to say they couldn't take me and I could've gone elsewhere. read more

Big fan. I've been going to Midtown Nails in North Hills for a while - every 4-5 weeks but the current tech I was visiting just had a baby (and unfortunately the finished product had been going downhill the last couple of visits) so I decided to check out CNP nails again (I had visited them numerous times previously with no complaints). Well the work was well done and I've been getting a lot of compliments on my nails! My tech was just "okay" but the finished product was really good. You can get a basic pedicure for $35 and my gel manicure was $27 (really cheap). I upgraded my pedicure to the $45 option but was not super impressed so I'll probably just stick with the $35 in the future. Will be back again soon. read more

We drove out to raleigh to get a mani pedi based on the reviews. Not only did we have a made up total but, my gel manicure didn't last but 5 days. Needless to say, we won't be back. People were nice but, paying $200 for 2 mani pedis is a lot... when we selected basic manicure and basic pedi. My husband didn't get polish.... so where did the extra charge come from? read more

You have to leave your pedicure chair and go into a different part of the salon where you sit in a recliner to receive your 20 minute foot and leg massage. I did enjoy this portion of the service. I just wish they could have also finished the polish there also, but instead, you have to the go back up front to the pedicure chair for the polish. The place is clean and well staffed. I'm not sure it would be my normal go-to place, but I would go back and would recommend.

Okay, I don't type much at this point but still...amazing results. I just never thought to try dip before. I could have gone years more never realizing dip was a better option for me. Today Tai worked very hard to get me the shape I wanted. A pet peeve of mine is when my nails aren't uniformly filed. Gel or dip is going to cover some filing inconsistencies but I feel my nails hold their shape better over time when they're filed uniformly from the start. After my pedicure, I politely asked if my nails could still be done, and the manager's wife loudly yelled "NO" in front of the entire salon, announcing that I was 30 minutes late and that they weren't going to do it. I understood they were super busy, and would've been okay with being denied. It was her tone. The lack of professionalism and public embarrassment was unnecessary and disappointing. A simple, respectful explanation would have gone a long way.

I'm so disappointed to say that today I've experienced the worst pedicure of my life. I had a 4:00pm appointment that I booked online. The technician that I had was very young, kept calling me "bro", and was literally playing a video game on his phone while he was giving me a pedicure! I had yellow polish on my toes from the last pedicure I had here. The technician was scrubbing them with a tool and I told him that it was regular polish, not shellac. He said I know, and kept going over them with this metal tool, which was a little painful. Then he cut my toenails with the polish still on, removed the polish, and barely filed my toenails. He tried scrubbing my feet awkwardly, which was very ticklish so he just stopped. Then he took some water out of the foot bath and put it all over my legs and rubbed them down with a scrub and then removed it. I received no lotion, and then he placed hot towels on each of my feet. The technician said that something bit him and went into the back room for a while. When he returned he was playing the game on his phone. I felt like I was in a Seinfeld episode. There were no other customers or employees working when I received my pedicure which was strange because they are usually busy and it was only 4:00. When the nail tech painted my toenails it was very rushed, he barely let the base coat dry and he began applying the polish. I've included pictures so you can see the terrible paint job, my dry feet and yellow nail polish still visible from my last appointment. I also have a rash from the aggressive scrubbing. I let the polish dry under one of the dryers but it was hard to see the details due to dim lighting. When I got out to my car in the sun I was very disappointed. My feet were much better off BEFORE this pedicure.
