I would go negative if I could. This place is a chop shop. It's depressing and my service was rushed. Went in to have hard gel removed and my long nails cut. I am not sure if the tech was licensed based on what he did. He used the drill to get the gel down, burning me with the drill more than once. He then used an acrylic nail to get under the gel and POP IT OFF MY NAIL. The manager kept coming over to observe and I argued that this was incorrect and my nails should be soaked in acetone or drilled properly, they argued no. This is nail health 101, you don't do that. I could do that at home. I had him use the drill to get the rest off and left. Based on the way he filed my now short nails I could tell it was going to be. a terrible manicure on damaged nails. Would give zero stars if possible. My girlfriend went in to get a pedicure and waited 30 minutes for someone to help her out(meanwhile there was 2 ladies organizing nail polish). I was sitting on the bench outside with our daughter who is 4 and was happy to see her mom. She was waving at her and my girlfriend was waving back. All of a sudden a young man approached her from behind and started waving and snapping in her face. My girlfriend said all she heard was someone say "yo" and then snapping. She refused service as that was extremely rude. In short, they forgot about her and then grabbed anyone they could find who turned out to be RUDE. I am so disappointed! I have gone to this salon about 4 times in the past, and was always very pleased. I actually joined their VIP club because I was so happy with them. This morning, I decided to treat myself to a pedicure today as a mother's day gift to myself. I asked for a basic pedicure. The entire pedicure lasted 13 minutes!. First thing, I was rushed to select a color. I was looking for a taupe and the women came over and told me they have so many colors, choose one, but I couldn't quickly find a taupe so I took anything. Then I ask for a basic pedicure and she says that its $38 which I thought was pricey, but I was there, so I accepted it. Then she actually was hurting me when she clipped my toenail, one toe itself was nipped and she continued to be aggressive with clippers. Then she to put a cream on one leg, wrapped it with saran wrap, did the second leg, then immediately unwrapped first leg, then second and leg. That "treatment" lasted about 1 minute. I could go on and on...when I sat down at the air dryer two other women were there complaining about being overcharged for the services they received. (As I sat at the drying station the women pointed to the posted prices and it said "basic pedicure" $30, basic "spa" pedicure $38. So I presume she gave me the spa pedicure) I hate posting this review because the owner of the salon seems like a very nice person, but I am truly not going back again. I wish I could give this establishment a 0. The customer service is poor and the owners attitude is even worse. I expressed I wasn't happy with my nails and asked if we could fix it and I was met with nothing but attitude. My nails looked like I went to the drug store and picked up little kid press on nails. I asked the owner if he could help me because my nail technician was giving me a hard time because I said I did not like them and he basically sat me back down and told me she will finish it and I didn't even have an option for anyone else. Even though I expressed I wasn't happy! The owner made me sit there unhappy and didn't even help with making the situation better. I was super unsatisfied and expressed I would never be coming back. I was hoping he would at least be a little bit more understanding especially with this being his business but all he cared about was getting my money in the moment. The owner had no care about me ever coming back and that's not the right way to run a business. I left super unhappy and all I was told was next time when you come back maybe try someone else. I wanted to like this place. I think there are some talented technicians who work there. However, the customer service is just awful and cleanliness is not the best. Some of the staff could be quite rude and although they are speaking in their native language, it's very clear when they are complaining about customers right infront of them. It happens often and I won't be returning. One technician, Allen, is particularly rude to customers. Unfortunately, it's acceptable behavior at this salon. read more

I have been here numerous times over the years, and had both manis and pedis. Like most places, the experience is usually technician specific. One thing that has been consistent is when the pedicure states there is paraffin, all they do is put a teaspoon of wax in a plastic bag and put it on your heel. Maybe there is a different paraffin service on the menu that is more than that, I don't know. I also get overwhelmed with all the colors to choose from, and more often than not, the color I pick, they don't have. This happens to me everywhere I go; it is not a reflection on this salon. There are thousands of colors, I can't imagine them having all of them - the polish company just gives them these color swatches with all the colors the company carries. I recommend if you find a color you like and you know they have it, take a picture of the bottle on your phone for next time. Most of the people who have helped me are nice enough. The place is clean and use plastic liners in the pedicure sinks. The last time I was there was about 2 weeks ago. The place wasn't busy yet. A lot of the technicians were sitting around on their cell phones. I was given to this young guy with earrings. I have no issue with a male doing my nails. Sometimes they are a little too rough, especially with the metal cuticle pusher (painful), but I have had some of my best manis done by men. I asked that he not use the electric file on my nails because they were already thin and damaged from my last gel - he ignored me. He didn't give me the shape I asked for, and did a very rushed job. Even though they looked ok, somehow I wasn't thrilled. I could understand if there were people waiting out the door and it was the after work rush, but no one was there, and the other technicians were sitting around playing on their phones. I hate feeling rushed. I go to relax and for the whole experience; a little self-pampering. I dunno. I keep going back because I live around the corner, but I always leave there feeling "eh". read more

Read good reviews about this place on Google search so I decided to try them out. I recently decided to removed all my acrylics, etc and just wanted a simple gel manicure. They had plenty of availability on short notice so I came in right away. Not the neatest manicure I've ever had and the gel was bubbling as you can see in the pictures. Not sure why that's happened and I didn't want to make a fuss or stay to point it out and have it done over so I paid quietly and left. $25 for the gel manicure and I tipped $5. So I came here for a gel manicure and regular pedicure. I paid $75 plus a $10 tip. Which is already a little pricey. Both of my thumbs started peeling off an hour after I got home! I've never had gel do that, then I look down on my toes and they are messed up as well. I know for sure my toes were dry because I was there for over 2 hours. No complaints on a spa pedi!! I usually get the lavender one and I really love it. It's really relaxing and worth the price!! ($40 for spa pedi/massage/pedi with polish). Clean and super relaxing atmosphere. Not gonna lie, I've fallen asleep in the pedi chair lol. I am willing to try them for their gel fills. They sat me down with an older gentleman and he refused to listen to me or ask me what I wanted. He cut the length I had and started shaping them into coffin without even asking me what I wanted. I always come to this nail salon cause I love the service and always get the best, however, I don't know if they have changed managers or if something happened, cause I have never had this bad experience. First my usual lady, eva, isn't there (I'm not sure if she is completely gone or just has the day off cause they wouldn't tell me at first, when I asked at the end they said she quit) so I got another lady and she was rushing everything, hardly listened to me at all and didn't listen when I asked for skinny coffin nails. And when I asked her to repeat some things cause I couldn't understand her, she repeated them very rudely or just completely ignored me. Then when we finished the acrylic set, they were not skinny and very not straight at the top. I was also scheduled for a pedicure so I got a different person for that and they were also rude. I asked what the hot stone included (if it was one stone or multiple and how it worked) and he laughed in my face and then didn't explain so I got the regular without hot stone. For some reason my seat also wouldn't work properly so that also kinda sucked. Overall, I hated the way the acrylic nails turned out (and they were for my birthday too ) and the pedicure didn't turn out good either (a lot of mess up marks all over my toes. At the end I asked if they could fix the crooked nails and they didn't really do anything so I had to do it myself with the nail file and asked them to paint over it. Then I went to pay they also charged me extra for the coffin shape ($5) and i have never gotten a fee for the shape before with Eva. This is my regular nail place. I've been over 10 times and I would say my experiences are inconsistent but good enough to keep going back. I think some of the workers are newer and not as well trained - they repeatedly tell me they don't have my color and then every time they find it in a drawer at the front desk so I have to insist. I think some workers really don't speak English so some issues people are having around "attitude" are due to the language barrier but I find the workers will get help if they don't understand. I was looking for a new nail salon to try especially after the Covid outbreak. I called Princess Nail Spa and was impressed that they asked for my name and number upon making my appointment. I had called a few places before and they made my appointment with none of my info which left me feeling like they were not prepared with new guidelines. My daughter and I arrived for our appointment, the salon is large, had a great selection of polish colors. Everything was clean, sanitized after each service. There were partitions at nail stations and every client was spaced at least 6 ft apart. All employees and customers wore masks. Aside from this our manicure and spa pedicure was great.
