I used to like going to this place, they had weekday special pre-covid, with $25 for gel mani if you pay cash & come on Mon-Wed. Post-covid, they no longer have the promotion, which is understandable.. and I still like going for the friendly and efficient service. Sadly today seems to be my last visit there as I was disappointed with both the service and the result of my mani. I came in for the usual gel mani, which the sign says $35 and I confirmed before they did my nails.. i chose colors from the sample basket and decided to try the 'new' cat-eye design.. At the end they charged me $40 saying it cost extra for using the tiny magnet wand for the cat-eye effect . It's not the $5 difference, but the feeling of being tricked that bothered me. And even more disappointing, the cat-eye effect is barely visible on one hand and just a tiny bit sharper on the other hand. I spent almost $50 for what looked like a regular gel mani.. Will need to look elsewhere for my nails need.. read more

They never disappoint! I've been coming here for years, since the H2O days and they are amazing! The quality of the mani's and pedi's far exceeds all other salons in the area. The nail techs are very consistent with their work, not to mention how friendly and welcoming each of them are. Pricing is the best in the area- $25 for regular mani pedi and $45 for gel mani regular pedi (only if paying with cash). Love this place!! Reasonably priced, clean, lovely and super sweet staff, great service, good quality polishes!! I got a regular mani/pedi (special $25 for both M-W!). I must say, I am impressed! I went on a Wednesday and it's now Saturday night and there is not one chip to be found and and the polish is still very shiny! Maybe 3 days isn't that long, but my nails are usually chipped by the end of the next day between typing and filing at my day job, and doing facials and waxing at my part time job. I have been searching for the best (gel) manicure for a long time, and I finally found that here! I am not sure I have ever had a manicure as good as the one Sarita did for me. She took the time to listen to me regarding color, shape, and all around what I wanted, and I ended up with my favorite set of nails to date. The gel manicure was reasonably priced AND you get a back/shoulder massage at the end. I was fit in quickly by messaging the salon on Yelp, and I even moved my appointment up a day due to the snow, and I was still fit in the time I wanted! I wanted to like this place so bad! The girls were all very nice and the salon was cute but this gel manicure started chipping the next day. These pictures are from today- 5 days since I had them done. Gel manicures should NOT last only 1 day. In the past at other salons my gels would be on for 3 weeks before they started to chip. I also had a pedicure done there which was great but will not be returning for a gel manicure in the future. read more

I really liked this nail salon but the last time I went I walked in to get a manicure and was not greeted by one person. I awkwardly stood there and waited for one of the employees to ask what I needed or at least say hi and no one said anything. Updating my review. Originally rated Princess Nails a 5 star. Dropping it down because I recently went back in for just a shellac manicure and it wasn't anything to brag about. The girl was kind of awkward and my polish is bumpy and just not as nice as manicures I've had at other places. Also no where near as "neat". Ugh. So I guess your results here are really just going to depend on the service you are requesting and which technician you get. Best of luck. I'm very disappointed in this place. I have been going here for years and today they made a very poor choice in the way they handled a nice customer. I had a $25 gift card which I always forget to use, and when I checked it..it was 2 1/2 months over due. The owner would not accept it. So I went to use another gift card (which was not expired and should have covered the entire mani pedi service )they charged me an extra $16 to use it because they said the purchaser used a credit card to buy it instead of cash. That is terrible!! First of all...I checked the law and you aren't allowed to charge more than 4% extra on credit cards. It is supposed to cover the cost of credit card processing fees to help the merchant. Not be a means to force people to pay cash. Won't be back. I called my friend who bought the gift card and they won't be back either. Plenty of other nail places in town. Shame because I always found them to be pleasant but clearly they have no business sense. read more
