Really enjoy getting my nails done at this place. Prices are still really reasonable and the service matches the prices. They have so much inventory and colors that it can be overwhelming but also you can find any color from any brand.

Pros: super clean, nice staff Cons: the techs I had weren't very good at nails. I had to ask for someone else to finish my pedicure, it looked like I painted my own nails in the bathroom. My nail tech was really sweet and patient, I didn't like the color I chose so she helped me pick another. Overall the end result just really wasn't great (see pics). Pretty sloppy around the edges. Overall probably won't be back :/

I have been to this salon probably 3 or 4 times, and I can tell powder dip gel is their specialty. Every technician I have gone to has done a fabulous job! They pay attention to very fine details and make sure your nails are perfect. The salon is one of the most beautiful in New Jersey, and the owners are incredibly attentive to their clients. Best part is I haven't had to make an appointment yet. They are either not that busy since they are still new or they have adequate staff. I would highly recommend trying this place out! P.S. Be sure to sign up for their rewards program. You get 2 percent back if you pay with credit card and 6 percent back if you pay by cash. If you spend approx 70 bucks a month, you could get a free SNS manicure in 10 months! Their prices are average for this area. SNS is 40 and extensions cost you 8 bucks more. They even throw in a short hand and back massage!

Came ger for a regular mani pedi. I didn't even want color, just for them to cut my nails and clean them up nicely. The pedicure was great. The guy who did it did a great job and was really nice. Then they sent me to someone else for the manicure. She didn't ask me what kind of shape I wanted or if I wanted them cut. She just filed them and pushed my cuticles back and told me I was done. It probably lasted less than 10 minutes. I just walked out and looked at them. I noticed several of my fingers were bleeding, my nails are actually jagged and sharp, and there is still dirt under them!! She didn't clean them up at all and did worse that I could've done at home. I can't imagine a simple manicure without even using polish could be done so badly. I really never write reviews but this is something so insane I had to do something about it. Though I really enjoyed the pedicure , I don't see myself coming back here. I don't want to risk having this experience on my toes.

Didn't have a good experience here. Got home and realized my nails were thick, clumpy, lopsided, and unevenly shaped. Didn't have a chance to even look at my nails because of the rush and confusion at the end. Made an appointment and when I arrived they said I would have to wait an extra 30 minutes because the previous customer arrived late. Once I got there I told them I wanted an acrylic fill in it and they agreed. I asked the nail artist what the difference between UV gel and acrylic was and and she said she didn't know, which I think should be common knowledge for a nail artist who does both. When it was time to pay they charged me $10 extra for getting UV gel when I specifically asked for acrylic, not gel. She put gel on me without even asking, and I was charged for it. Really unhappy with my nails.

Terrible service. I went with my daughter. First the owner is sitting in the waiting area vaping heavily. They seemed annoyed I was early. When we were sat they were very rough grabbing our feet. My nails are all crooked, the massage is timed, the scrub was washed off instantly. They hurt me and told me it was because I moved. Also when she gave the back massage the lady wiped the nail polish on my daughters shoulder. THE PEDICURE WAS LESS THAN 20 MIN

Service is good, but was shocked when I saw that they keep fishes in a small vase with dirty water as decoration. I tried to get the contact of the manager, but wasnt provided. Cant came back to a place that has no respect to animals. Update: I contacted someone from Denville and they went there and instructed about changing water. And looks like the size of the vase is enough.

I did a walk-in for pedicure once they opened & they accommodated me. Alice was my specialist & she did a wonderful job. She took her time & my massage was awesome! Lisa did the best pedicure I've had in a really long time! The place is clean and staff really friendly. I'll definitely be back for another pedi! Lisa continues to do an OUTSTANDING pedicure. I have been searching for a new nail salon in the area and I am so happy I came across top style! The place itself was beautiful, the staff was friendly (gave me water and had my temperature taken immediately) and was following all protocols! Not only did they do exactly as I asked (new acrylic set and this elaborate design) the woman I had, Amanda, was very patient and never rushed (I was there for 2 hours because of the design). They also have a rewards program which is amazing! I am sending my sister there next week and will be a lifetime client! Thanks too Nails!!!

So I've been here plenty of times to say I've been more than patient!!! My nails take longer than they should usually I'd say hey not bad but now I spend 90 dollars on a full set of Uv Gel ! And that was yesterday on Sunday April 24 and now my nails are falling off !! I asked if they can have someone do it after they are done with a client !!! ... and they said they have other appointments so they can't see me !! Seriously look I work in this industry and I can always Accommodate a client . I could of waited but tell me they can't see me till after 2 seriously it's not okay !! I'm super understanding but not when they just don't care and understand that it's Inconvenient for me just like it is for them !

This place is a hidden gem! Every single staff member greets you with a smile, and you can feel how much pride they take in their work. I tried their pedicure + foot massage combo. They didn't just focus on my toes, the calf massage melted away my stress. Shoutout to the whole team for being so attentive (even brought me tea without me asking!). read more

Prices are outrageous for the quality of service. I wanted a basic pedicure and they wouldn't allow it. "Must pick package" so instead of basic, my pedicure was $50. It wasn't any more special than regular I usually get. Then instead of doing powder, like I always get, tech started gel. Said "it's better". Again significantly more expensive. Won't be back. read more

I have been going to Top Style Nails for many years. Not sure if new management is there but the place looks great! Everyone is friendly and they brought back the Medi and Pedi combo which is awesome. Ella to name one person does an amazing job with art and if you are in the area , give them a try. This place is in a great location and the staff is nice. However, the services are very inconsistent. I usually get a pedicure. It usually takes about 35 minutes. Today, I was in and out in 20. It jsut doesn't make sense. The worst pedicure I've gotten. The massage was bad and the pain on my toes is bubbled. You can tell she just didn't take the proper time. Very disappointing. read more

Hi my daughter decided to give this place a shot. We live in denville to support the locals. 1 - we are new to the salon and didn't know where to sit. The receptionist def saw us standing there by the door for 10 or so. Than I had to ask where to with my kid. 2- I'm a licensed cosmetologist and as far for hygiene you need to soak at least for 5-10 min. State board rules! 3- Ricky laughed at me because I asked for a 5 min soak. I will def not come here again and pray that I don't get a fungus. 4- I work with clients and I speak Spanish and never talk in front of my clients a different language. read more

Warning Very poor quality of nail service! The quality of service that I received the last time I went for my nails was terrible. I got a regular gel manicure and pedicure and my nails broke only a few days later. My nails are now damaged, weak, and brittle. I'm very disappointed . My nails were perfectly healthy prior to getting my nails done because I was wearing them natural for the past year and half. Whatever products they used on my nails caused a lot of damage and my nails are completely ruined. Products used might have been expired or cheap. read more

Got my nails done (gel manicure) on Wednesday night and Friday morning they're already chipped. Haven't had this happen so quickly from a gel polish. Very disappointed when I paid $35 for the service. Wouldn't recommend. read more

This salon is not only gorgeous inside...my girl Liz does an absolutely phenomenal job on my nails...never any lifting...I get acrylic & people tell me how they look like a natural nail gel manicure!!! Star ONLY for massive polish selection and clean bathroom. To begin the front desk personnel are not even the tiniest bit friendly to the point of rude. Really off putting, a smile goes a long way girls. I got a basic manicure, my nails were cut so short they hurt. Polish is not put on very well, there is polish left on my skin at the end and sides of my nails on several fingers. No hand massage, certainly no shoulder massage. I guess because I gave the tip first? $5 tip for $12 manicure is a good tip. Stools in drying area are uncomfortable. No thank you on way out, will take my business elsewhere. read more

This place is a stylish trendy place to get all the latest styles when it comes to nails. They are willing to try any sort of design that you show a picture of. I wanted a nude matte nail with a design, and when I showed them the picture they went above and beyond to come as close to the picture. They did charge $5 extra dollars to add a matte top coat, and $5 for a small glitter design on two nails, making my gel manicure $45. This is definitely expensive and the reason I took a star off. I can rationalize adding $5 for both but $10 was just too much. I also noticed that the cheapest pedicure is $30 which is the most I've seen in this area. It is a very nice clean salon and the staff is helpful, but just beware that it is not an economic place. EDIT. My nails chipped within the first few days despite getting a gel manicure. Additionally, the $5 extra I payed for a matte topcoat was garbage because the very next day my nails were back to glossy. read more

I was concerned about getting a pedicure at a place with so low ratings. Went with a wedding group (7 of us). I had the BEST pedicure I have ever had! Abby is the best. Have had pedicures in Vegas and several places in Colorado! Abby rocks! Great prices! read more

Just went to this spa for the first time and I was really impressed. I got a signature pedicure and dip manicure. Both services were great and I got a complimentary shoulder massage with both. Will definitely be returning! read more

I am very disappointed with my experience here. I just finished getting a gel manicure that was rushed & not properly done. Desperately needed my nails done for the weekend but the first two salons I normally go to were closed. Saw that this place closes @ 8 & was extremely happy to get my nails done here. Let me start off by saying the place is really clean. Definitely wanted to check back and get my pedicure done here until I saw the result of my nails. She didn't really take out the cuticles and after my nails were polished, she tried to take a few was sticking out. Only if you took the time to take my cuticles out...BEFORE getting my nails polisher. Everything was super rushed and it took literally 10 minutes to get them done. Getting your nails done is all about the experience - and today, I had no experience. It was rushed and my nails looked more disaster than I came in with. Maybe it's the person I had or she felt the need to go on break or something idk maybe I'll give it another shot. only if all other salons are closed again read more

Their regular pedicure is essentially a fancy polish change. They don't do any exfoliation, no pumice stone or callus eliminator. I was done in less than 30 minutes. Save your money and go to paradise down the road. read more

I made an appointment for 1 PM with my mother and grandmother. They let us sit down in the chair but wouldn't start us until 1:30. I'm now finished at 1:42. $33 for a 12 minute pedicure is NOT worth it! I had Emma and my mother had Nancy and they completely SUCK at their job! Such an awful experience at such a highly rated place. read more

Have been going to top style for almost a year. Was treated so poorly today that I will never go back. I asked to speak to the manager or owner and I was told "they will do nothing for you." It's a classic situation of having an appointment and they choose to take other people over you. I sat there for 45 minutes with my hands soaking and then was lied to repeatedly about why no one could do my nails. The place is not cheap and the cleanliness has gone downhill. Now that the customer service is abysmal, I won't go back. It's also the kind of place where they gave people not fully trained who cut the cuticles until they bleed. Absolute crap and overpriced. Did this gel on Friday and it's Tuesday and I have a giant chip. So disappointed with this for $40 with tip. I should have gone to my place for $25. Oh and had file these myself because the shape was so uneven. This place is a rip off only because its in a nice area. read more

Every time I go within the week I get a chip or two and I have to go back to get them to fix it. While they fix it for free within the week it's not fun to have to go back-and-forth. On Saturday, December 12 I got a gel manicure by the following Wednesday three fingers on the right had chipped so I went back on Friday, December 18. today is Xmas Eve and those three fingers are ruined again as well as two on the left. Wanted this to work out cause I'm so close if I can't get in to my regular place but it's filthy. It cost me 48.00 for pedicure with 10.00 tip for a half hour of nothing. I'm so disappointed. They should wash the floors and pedicure chairs not to mention the windows were so dirty as well. read more

Absolutely horrible. I showed Luis (the nail tech) The white nails in the first picture as a reference. What I got was these horrendous purple nails. I was charged for coffin which is five dollars more, these nails are clearly square. I told him multiple times that he was cutting my fingers and it hurt the way that he was doing them and absolutely nothing changed. My cuticles are cut and bleeding, my nails are hideous and nothing like I asked for. Never coming here again! Worst $53 dollars of my life. read more

Everything in this place is getting worse and worse. I made an appointment at 12 pm and they stated helping me at 12:38 pm, I love John but he was rushing and did not do a good job. The worse part is that the owners don't care about anything. Please never come to this place. Everyone need training in customer experience in this place. read more

They said starting cost of the design was $5, but I don't think they should have charged me so much for the line on my big toes. When I asked the nail technician to redo one of them, she wasn't too happy about it but did it anyways. I get my nails done twice a year so I want them to look nice. I also got the dip powder manicure and that was $50. The total before tip was $85. I was planning to use this $5 off coupon when I checked into Yelp but they said they have nothing to do with Yelp and they will not honor it. That was a let down. They should talk to Yelp and take that down so it's not misleading. I gave her a nice tip because she was patient with me. Overall, she did a pretty good job. Would I visit them again? I'm not sure. They were a little pricey. I may check other nail salons in the area before going back.

They have a special bench set up for little kids so my daughter was able to sit next to me in a pedicure chair and get her mani done while I had my pedi done. They did a really great job and even added on sparkles for her, which she loved. They also do it fast, which is key for a little kid. She was done with her mani in like 10-15 minutes. Great place to take your little one for a mani. My daughter had been asking for forever, and I'm glad we did it.

When I asked if she could fix the rest so everything looked even, she was dismissive and said she didn't know how much it would cost and that it might ruin the polish--yet the shape was already ruined. I almost never leave reviews but my most recent experience at Milano was terrible. I have been here…read moreone or two times and had good experiences, but I recently visited in the middle of the week when there were almost no other customers but several employees. Despite the fact that there was no rush, my nail tech stood right behind me the moment I went to go pick a color and was very impatient. Then I was lead to a station that had obviously not been cleaned. There was a smell like someone had been eating nearby. He manipulated my hands very harshly and I had to say several times that he was hurting me, twisting my fingers to apply polish way harder than any nail tech has done before. I got a gel "Catseye" manicure where the polish has tiny magnetic particles that are moved into place with a magnet. He had never applied this type of polish and instead of switching in another employee who knew how to (several employees were milling about as there was only one other person in the salon) another employee demonstrated how to apply the polish on one nail and then walked away! He had no idea what he was doing, so he ended up just handing me the magnet and having me do it instead of trying to learn! I'm not a nail tech, I was just imitating what I've seen other nail techs do before (if you've had this type of gel polish before, you know the magnet is moved in a specific way to produce an iridescent effect) so it obviously didn't turn out right. The tech didn't even apply the polish uniformly and it was half transparent and completely bumpy on my nail. Again, I'm not usually the type to complain, but all these little things added up to me feeling very disrespected. If you have a nail spot you already like stick to it, because I feel stupid knowing I paid people for such terrible service, especially since they made me basically do my own manicure and my nails look terrible. Ridiculous.

I have to give a huge shoutout to Ella at Top Style Nail Salon in Denville! She is beyond talented. These Red Sox nails came out absolutely AMAZING, and the way she hand painted Wally was perfect. I got nonstop compliments on them everywhere I went -- almost 1,000 reactions on a Red Sox Facebook page! What makes Ella so special is that she's not only incredibly creative and talented, but she genuinely cares about her clients. Even when I show up late or have no idea what I want, she always comes up with the perfect design and somehow makes my nails look better than I imagined. The whole salon feels like family. Tracey, May, Ina , and everyone there are always make sure to come over and talk to me like family and everyone else around Ella (sorry blanking on names . If I walk in having a bad day, I always leave smiling. I can't recommend Ella and the entire team enough. They are truly the best! The fun part is I try to teach her English and she tries to teach me Chinese . Lots of fun belly laughs . I'm so blessed I was recommended from the Denville page when I had so many bad experiences and two people recommended Ella!!! I'm extremely disappointed with my experience here. I developed a fungal nail infection shortly after my visit, which I believe was due to improper tool sanitation and poor technique during the service. It's clear that hygiene protocols were not properly followed, and that kind of negligence is unacceptable in a salon setting. I'm now having to deal with the cost, time, and discomfort of treating this infection -- something that could have been easily avoided with proper care and cleanliness. I'm sharing this to warn others to be cautious. If management reads this, I urge you to take hygiene more seriously and retrain your staff on proper sanitization and safe techniques. No one should have to worry about their health after a routine visit to the salon. read more
